    Arugula salad...*****
    Ed M.

I have heard alot about this location and I was lucky enough to make the trip with my wife and son. We were all impressed from the start. Great ambiance with perfect lighting and temperature. The room is set up perfectly with the oven sort of the center piece in the rear of the restaurant. The night I was there, we were full! lots of activity around the entire restaurant. We were met immediately by a waiter, who took our drink order and dropped off some delicious bread with some oil. The calamari and eggplant appetizers were out of this world! For the main dish, we had pizza, a beautiful arugula salad and the honey lavender duck! My wife was thrilled with the arugula. She has mentioned several times since we went how good it was. The pizza was a strong B+. I liked the size for one...6 slices and they were tasty and my son is still talking about the lavender duck! What a surprise! We did not get a dessert....we plan to next visit.....they looked great as they passed our table but we held back! Vibe- awesome Price- fair....very fair Parking- reasonable for Main Street Will we revisit? Of course...to much more to try! Great stop and a fantastic dining experience in Woburn!

So yeah I'm way past the generation that uses abbreviations for everything, but let me tell you friends, if you've ever been to Italy, then IYKYK. Nothing in the US has reminded me of eating in Italy. That ended tonight. If you are anywhere near Woburn, don't walk. No no no. Run to this one folks. Exceptional food, outstanding service. All pasta homemade. I'll post pics. Cannot wait to go back when I'm in this area again. Bravo Il Ponte Bravo.

Impeccable. Everything here was perfection. The fresh rosemary focaccia started off our meal. Appetizers: Bruschetta ($15) - The creamiest whipped ricotta with honey and pistachios on top of toasted baguette pieces. Eggplant Parmigiana ($17) - I have never had anything like it - the most thinly sliced (probably with a mandolin) eggplant, lightly breaded and fried and delicately stacked like a ratatouille with delicious marinara and melted mozarella. Honey Lavender Duck ($48) - a humongous, perfectly cooked half duck on top of barley and a rich, buttery sauce. I didn't try the pizza but it looked marvelous. Everyone loved everything. Presentation is gorgeous. Romantic, classy interior and polite staff.

This place is the best restaurant around! Food and drinks are both always amazing, and the service is equally great. Make sure you make a reservation well in advance as it's a tiny little place and gets booked up quick.

My wife and I made a reservation for a Saturday night and upon arrival were seated immediately. To start, we ordered a perfectly cooked octopus antipasti, followed by tortellini alla norcina, and for a secondi the vitello alla petroniana (we were debating between this pasta/secondi combination and the pasta bolognese/swordfish special - will have to come back to get these next time!). I don't typically eat veal, and this cutlet was perfectly balanced - rich, savory, crispy, with a pleasant (but not overwhelming) salty kick from the prosciutto and parmigiano reggiano. We also ordered the spicy broccolini, which I highly recommend for the garlic lovers out there. For dessert we had the dark cherry (amarena?) gelato, which was delicious and creamy, with the perfect amount of sweetness. We shared each dish, and it was certainly plenty of food for the two of us. Prices felt reasonable for the amount and quality of what we ordered (all of the above + 2 drinks from the bar totaled approx. $160 pre-tip). The restaurant space itself is relatively small but has enough space to move around comfortably, which made it cozy without ever getting too loud (it was a pretty full house when we went), with a balanced dim lighting. Additionally, the staff were friendly and knowledgeable, and the server patiently walked us through the menu and shared suggestions at our request. On a personal note I am especially appreciative of the staff, as I accidentally left without my hat, and the restaurant responded almost immediately to the message I sent through the restaurant website that same evening. Tl;dr - great menu, rich & hearty but balanced ingredients/recipes, and comfortable vibe. One really gets the impression that the husband/wife owners had a specific vision that they successfully brought into reality.

My wife and I went to Il Ponte for the first time based on several recommendations and it didn't disappoint. We started with the prosciutto and Burrata appetizer and then I had the swordfish over asparagus risotto. I can hands down say this was the best meal that I've ever had at a restaurant. As for the appetizer, the prosciutto and burrata was outstanding. When I say this was the best meal I've ever had I'm referring to my main course which was the swordfish and risotto. The swordfish essentially melts in your mouth. It was perfectly cooked. The risotto was creamy and delicious. It wasn't too rich at all and paired perfectly with the swordfish. We ended the night with the tiramisu which was also very good. I cannot wait to go back as there were about 10 other main courses that I am dying to try.

    Ah... creamy limoncello!

What is the parking there? Is it only street parking?

Street parking mainly. There's a big general lot about a block away near the bowling alley too that we usually park at.

An outdoor patio with pretty pink flowers and its own branded vehicles. Beep beep. I tried their Prex Fixe lunch menu for just $22 and I felt like I was robbing the place. You get a salad, pasta and choice of dessert. I went with the Caesar, bolognese, and donut holes (zeppole). My bartender, Alexis, made the best recommendations, a great conversationalist, and was quick to the punch when my beer was running low. The bread spread started out HOT. Came out warm with red pepper flakes, parmigiana, and pure olive oil. I poured that cheese right in the oil with 2 spoons of peppers to dip that delicious, airy focaccia into. The salad was perfectly dressed with a bread crumb and bacon topping with your choice of anchovy on top. I'd highly recommend if you're hesitant, nice and vinegary and not too salty nor fishy. Came with a pepperoncini on the side as well. Bolognese sauce was rich, a tad creamy, with delicious meat you can actually taste and see! Some bigger chunks of meat made me feel special and not what I'm used to in a bolognese, but definitely not complaining. Make sure to have any bread left handy to scoop that last little sauce up with. Last but certainly not least, holy moly those Zeppole! Words can't describe how good these are. Crisp outside with a fluffy inside made my dreams come true. The dip was like a coconut whipped cream/ meringue. Whole thing was money bags, yo. I highly recommend this restaurant and the prex fixe lunch menu! Absolutely blew my socks off. Can't wait to come back for a dinner and lunch again soon. Try it out or you are not cool ;)

SEATING: They wrote the wrong name down for our reservation and I thought we were out of luck, but they figured we were the ones with the reservation at that time, so they seated us. DRINKS: They were out of the wine I wanted and another person in our party couldn't get the kind of martini they wanted. The other drinks were fine. FOOD: The portions were pretty small. The carbonara did not look or taste like carbonara. It tasted ok, but was not what was expected. I had the chicken piccata and it was fine. The veal saltimbocca was ok but was served with overcooked potatoes. AMBIANCE: The place is small and was CROWDED and NOISY, which really impacted our evening. I don't understand some of the hate in the reviews. Looking for a nice restaurant while we were in…read morethe area, we almost passed on Tre Monte because of the negativity. However, the bartender at another place said that it would be the place he would go, and I've learned that the recommendation of a bartender is worth more than any amount of reviews on Yelp. We showed up just at opening, sans reservations, on a Saturday evening (12/7). There was already a line at the door, which is a good sign about the food, but we wondered if we would be able to get a table. The fear was unfounded, as the hostess graciously showed us to a table and dropped menus. Our server, Christina, took our drink order, and was very apologetic that they didn't have onions for Bestie's gibson. No worries - olives work just as well. She came back with our cocktails, recited the specials, and we asked her to give us time to enjoy our drinks; we'd flag her down when we were ready to order. The menu is a great selection of Italian cuisine, balanced with a few standards. We took our time with our cocktails (the martinis were perfect, by the way) and Christina came right over when asked her about wines. She apologized for us not having a wine list, and returned immediately with one (some excellent bottles in their cellar, and a great selection by the glass). Bestie decided right away on the Shrimp Gran Manier [sic], egg-battered shrimp in an orange-flavored sauce, as an appetizer. I fell in love with the Melazana, breaded eggplant with marinara and cheese, covered in a creamy pesto sauce. For entrees, I picked a simple sauteed chicken, covered with prosciutto and cheese, while the rack of lamb caught her fancy. Christina came right over when we were ready to order, and congratulated us on our choices. We were able to watch the kitchen as they worked. Both of us, having a lot of experience in the industry, marveled at how well the staff worked together in the tiny space. It wasn't long before our appetizers arrived, and they were as delicious as they sounded on the menu. As soon as Christina cleared the empty plates away, she returned immediately with our entrees (which we saw were plated just as she headed to the kitchen area). Bestie's lamb was perfect. She had a choice of two sides, and she picked an herbed polenta and grilled vegetables. I accompanied my chicken with a gratin of potatoes, and sauteed spinach with garlic. We took our obligatory pictures and dug in. Needless to say, there was no conversation while we ate, with the food taking all of our attention. Bestie's lamb was cooked perfectly, with a generous portion, My chicken was flavorful, with the right balance between the sauce and the meat (I have a love/hate relationship with cheese - I like a lot of it, but not when it overpowers what's under it). To finish things off, we ordered coffee and cannolis, something light to balance the richness of the dinner. Both were delicious. When it came time to settle our check, Christina was right over. I am so glad that we listened to the bartender and not the reviews. Our experience here was the highlight of our weekend in this area.
