Vibes: Vibey. Atmosphere: Sleek, sophisticated, dope. They don't serve Red Bull. Cuisine: Italian fare. It was yummers, Eugene! My Linguine Al Limone was savory; the crab meat was very fresh and clearly well-sourced. The linguine tasted dar-gone homemade, Ethel! It was divine -- almost as decadent as Almafi fare. And I've been there & chowed dat fare. THIS fare was a hair (talkin' a hair, y'all) overly limone-y -- but perhaps im acting like Tom Colicchio on Top Chef?! Idk?! I just wanna let 'em know, ya know? Keep it 100, ya know? Bruschetta -- exquisite. We ordered one lemon. And one prosciutto. Crunchy. Fresh. Divine bites. Also, the calamari was crispy & came to the table in a cute basket. The calamari is Rhode Island style. Lots of waiting, though. Yawwwwnnn... Courses took their daaaaaaaaaaaang time to grace the table. We skipped dessert because it took 30 minutes for the dessert menu to reach our table after we requested it. Foey. Anyhoo -- tell Arthur that I recommend the joint. You'll feel sophisticated here. Again, no Red Bull served here.

It is rare that a restaurant exceeds my expectations, but Sogno certainly did this afternoon! Having never been, their Dine Out Week Lunch menu lured me in. Everything was spectacular -- the atmosphere, food, presentation, and service. Four of us enjoyed every aspect and will definitely be back.

We have continued to visit Sogno several times for special occassions. On the pricey side but delicious food and attentive service. On our most recent visit we ordered the Fritti misto, eggplant app, clam linguine, crab pasta and steak and everything was delicious. Restaurant is on the upscale side. Plenty of seating but would recommend reservations as it is a popular spot.

First time at Sogno, as friends asked us to join them. Beautiful dining room, large and can accomodate large parties. Volume is a little on the louder side, but not really a concern. We had a very pleasant server and found delivery from the kitchen and timing of the courses to be right on target. Menu leans classic Italian, but has some twists which made it interesting. For example, there was a pasta bolognese, but our waitress told us there was also a version that was baked and topped with Ricotta cheese. I took her suggestion and glad I did, quite delicious. Cocktails were also good, as were the wide selection of appetizers. If I have to find any fault, perhaps some of the appetizers arrived at the table less than piping hot. Plenty of parking, good food and service, give them a try when in the area.

Great time last night at this chic and comfortable venue that always makes the little things matter. Service was amazing. Petro was fabulous along with Elizabeth. The appetizers were great. Unusual Wagyu Carpaccio was fantastic!! Entrees tasted as good as they looked. Nice portions and just the right seasoning!! Make this a must try and make reservations!! Bon appetite!! Ciao

Celebrated my birthday here last year with a friend. It was definitely crowded but a beautiful restaurant. The waitress was very nice and attentive. It was our first time at Sogno and we asked the waitress what she recommended. The food came out good. I really liked their margarita pizza the most. I just didn't like the fact that it was too crowded, you'd have to scream over each other and the restaurant was a little too dim.

A group of us came to Sogno for a birthday celebration. Service was great, and we were checked on often. I got the Sogno Cesare with chicken on the side, il fico, and Espresso Martini. Our table shared the Wagyu carpaccio, and Polpo alla griglia. My favorites were the Polpo alla griglia, and il fico. The il fico is very light and refreshing, slightly sweet and you can really taste the fig. Everyone enjoyed their food and had a great time. They do give a basket of bread and only olive oil. Sogno is on the pricier side, and I personally would only come here for special occasions, or a fancy date night. The restaurant is modern and feels intimate. They have indoor and some covered outdoor seating. They also have live music on some nights. For our celebration, they put us in a enclosed glass room, which was nice as it drowns out the noise, however you're surrounded by the rest of the tables on three sides so it feels like people are just looking in.

Came here for a birthday party with a large group. Service was absolutely stellar. We had multiple staff members check in and make sure we had what we needed and our waiter was awesome. The restaurant itself has a great vibe. It's a nicer place, has a cool glassed in wine room you can check out and everything was spotlessly clean. Our food came out quickly and everything was delicious. They have a great menu but they also had a special Boston restaurant week menu that had some of their top dishes. I dug in so fast I was halfway through before I snapped this photo

I went here with my husband and a friend tonight for our first try. We had always wanted to give this place a try after driving past it several times going to another event. Our server Paul was friendly and helpful in helping us choose our meals and he gave us good recommendations from things he had tried here. The food came to our table well presented and ready to eat and it was delicious!! We were seated at the back of the restaurant near the kitchen area so we could view the meals as they left the kitchen area. There were a lot of people around us so it made having a nice conversation tricky because of the noise level. The staff was friendly and we saw (who we believed to be an owner) greeting people at the entrance door and either welcoming them or wishing them a good night. The pricing for the meal was reasonable and we will return to try something else.

Always a delicious salad. They served the grilled chicken breast on the side.

This place has class! The hostess is lovely. The place is beautiful. Love the covered outdoor patio and $1 oyster Mondays. The bolognese sauce--yum!

Sogno has been on my want-to-go date night list for a bit. We started with the Waygu Carpaccio - it was good, but so thin I'm not sure it was worth the $24. You could barely taste the steak. I ordered the 16oz Ribeye. Came topped with Bone Marrow butter, and I substituted the risotto for the mashed. It was cooked perfectly, but I did have to add some seasoning. My wife ordered the Burrata Ravioli and she liked it. It could have been warmer, but good flavor. For dessert the only thing that was bad about the tiramisu was the size, it was fantastic! I could eat about 6 of them!! The Zepe donuts were also fantastic!!

I honestly can't think of another restaurant that captures the essence of Northern Italian cuisine at this level. Every single dish we ordered was exceptional. My advice: go family-style so you can share and experience as much of the menu as possible. The tortellini was outstanding, the pasta with the brandy cream sauce was unforgettable, and the short rib was absolutely phenomenal. Not a single dish missed, and there wasn't one thing we wouldn't order again. To top it all off, the chef came over to our table at the end of the meal to say hello--a thoughtful touch that made an already incredible experience even more memorable. I would put this restaurant up against anything I've had in Italy, and without question, it's the best Italian restaurant in the Boston area. The most surprising part? It's in Woburn, not the North End. 10/10. An unforgettable dining experience

Short rib with risotto also not hot, and I suspect was microwaved after a service snafu. SEATING: They wrote the wrong name down for our reservation and I thought we were out of luck, but they figured we were the ones with the reservation at that time, so they seated us. DRINKS: They were out of the wine I wanted and another person in our party couldn't get the kind of martini they wanted. The other drinks were fine. FOOD: The portions were pretty small. The carbonara did not look or taste like carbonara. It tasted ok, but was not what was expected. I had the chicken piccata and it was fine. The veal saltimbocca was ok but was served with overcooked potatoes. AMBIANCE: The place is small and was CROWDED and NOISY, which really impacted our evening. We could hold a conversation, but it was unpleasant. Also, we were seated next to their exterior sign, which was blinking and distracting throughout our time there. I don't understand some of the hate in the reviews. Looking for a nice restaurant while we were in…read morethe area, we almost passed on Tre Monte because of the negativity. However, the bartender at another place said that it would be the place he would go, and I've learned that the recommendation of a bartender is worth more than any amount of reviews on Yelp. We showed up just at opening, sans reservations, on a Saturday evening (12/7). There was already a line at the door, which is a good sign about the food, but we wondered if we would be able to get a table. The fear was unfounded, as the hostess graciously showed us to a table and dropped menus. Our server, Christina, took our drink order, and was very apologetic that they didn't have onions for Bestie's gibson. No worries - olives work just as well. She came back with our cocktails, recited the specials, and we asked her to give us time to enjoy our drinks; we'd flag her down when we were ready to order. The menu is a great selection of Italian cuisine, balanced with a few standards. We took our time with our cocktails (the martinis were perfect, by the way) and Christina came right over when asked her about wines. She apologized for us not having a wine list, and returned immediately with one (some excellent bottles in their cellar, and a great selection by the glass). Bestie decided right away on the Shrimp Gran Manier [sic], egg-battered shrimp in an orange-flavored sauce, as an appetizer. I fell in love with the Melazana, breaded eggplant with marinara and cheese, covered in a creamy pesto sauce. For entrees, I picked a simple sauteed chicken, covered with prosciutto and cheese, while the rack of lamb caught her fancy. Christina came right over when we were ready to order, and congratulated us on our choices. We were able to watch the kitchen as they worked. Both of us, having a lot of experience in the industry, marveled at how well the staff worked together in the tiny space. It wasn't long before our appetizers arrived, and they were as delicious as they sounded on the menu. As soon as Christina cleared the empty plates away, she returned immediately with our entrees (which we saw were plated just as she headed to the kitchen area). Bestie's lamb was perfect. She had a choice of two sides, and she picked an herbed polenta and grilled vegetables. I accompanied my chicken with a gratin of potatoes, and sauteed spinach with garlic. We took our obligatory pictures and dug in. Needless to say, there was no conversation while we ate, with the food taking all of our attention. Bestie's lamb was cooked perfectly, with a generous portion, My chicken was flavorful, with the right balance between the sauce and the meat (I have a love/hate relationship with cheese - I like a lot of it, but not when it overpowers what's under it). To finish things off, we ordered coffee and cannolis, something light to balance the richness of the dinner. Both were delicious. When it came time to settle our check, Christina was right over. I am so glad that we listened to the bartender and not the reviews. Our experience here was the highlight of our weekend in this area.
