Personal size white pizza with mushroom and arugala

We have been wanting to visit the new site since they moved in when Strega moved out. Sylvan Rd, Woburn inside of Cummings Park sits a great addition to the Woburn restaurant scene....Teresa's Ristorante! After a long day, we stopped in for a quick bite. Upon arrival, we pulled up to see the parking lot full. It was a Saturday night, so we figured it would be busy but not as busy as it appeared. We were lucky enough to get high top by the bar, which was perfect for us. 3 beautiful tv's showing the Bruin's/Canadiens game and a decent size bar in the center of the room with chandeliers above! A very nice setting.....we were part of the high tops sitting around the main bar. All of the seats at the bar and at the high tops were filled, as well! We were quickly serviced by our waitress and we were able to put our full order in (drinks, bread and main dish). The waitress was very nice and we could tell she was busy and doing the best she could. We ordered 2 pizzas. One cheese and one white pizza with mushroom and arugala. Both were personal size. As I said, we were just stopping in for a quick drink and a bite to eat. Both pizzas were excellent. The service was A+ and we definitely plan to return for a full dinner soon.....ideally before Christmas! See pics for both pizza's and an empty bread basket because the bread was incredible....served hot and fresh!

My husband and I went there the other night for the first time as we usually go to the one in Middleton, and it was fantastic! We had great drinks and the food was delicious, including the fresh warm bread and oil they served at the beginning of the meal. We never usually get dessert but we did this time with a cup of coffee and was the ending to a perfect meal. The staff and restaurant were perfect as well! Highly

I've been a frequent flyer at Teresa's in Middleton, but hadn't felt much love as time goes by--pork chops and vinegar peppers are their best dish. BUT the new Woburn location brings a lively vibe and hopping bar scene in Strega's old digs. I think they've even upped their game with food selections and preparations in the classic Italian style. We were there for a birthday celebration and servers were aware of the birthday girl, who got a flaming candle atop tiramisu at the end of dinner. Julie our server was spectacular as was manager Matt (who fixed a slight mix up with a bunch of similar looking chocolate martinis delivered to wrong folks). Matt remade drinks and even comped the round, which nobody expected. Great customer service for sure! Everyone loved their entrees and desserts. I particularly enjoyed the panna cotta. I'm definitely feeling the love now for this new Teresa's location.

Our family has enjoyed Teresa's in Middleton for years. We celebrated countless birthdays and held a private function there as well. Teresa's in Woburn maintains the same high standards for outstanding service and fantastic food. Our party of six ordered two pizzas, gnocchi, fusilli with gravy, calamari, Caesar salad, and Tuffi Bruschetta. All good!

Food sucked. My drink was fine. Chicken parm terrible, super dry. Lots of elderly people there. Over priced. Avoid.

    Pork chop with peppers

It was disappointing. For the six of us including a round of drinks, two appetizers, 2 bottles of $50 wine and our meals was more than $600 with tip. The restaurant on a Thursday wasn't 50% full yet our service was slow. Dinners arrived with appetizer plates still on the table. The dining room was brightly lit (too much so) and was recently completely renovated. The food was average at premium prices. Calamari was flavorful. The burrata with prosciutto had a nice piece of burrata, a strange chopped tomato on the side and the prosciutto had chewy hard pieces that made it hard to enjoy. My wife's Marsala was disappointing with the chicken dry. The veal Parmesan was overcooked and burned on edges. My pork chop work vinegar peppers was drowned in a sauce. It was a healthy cut of pork cooked medium that was flavorful with roasted potatoes sitting in the sauce/broth - not like most chops cooked traditionally this way. The short rib pappardelle lacked the flavor of slow cooked ribs likely because it was drowned in broth. The two stars is a function of the value of the experience. I debated 3 stars, but the value did not meet the standard.

I easily secured a same day bar seat reservation for 8PM. After checking in, was seated at a half empty downstairs bar. No physical menus, everything was done via a QR which is fine I guess, but for a spot that positions itself as a premiere bar a bit tacky. The online menu on the public website is the only menu and where the QR takes you. I asked for a spirits list (logical for a cocktail forward bar), I got a quizzical look and a shrug of the shoulders in return. Given the menu was only 8 cocktails, picking from those I started with the Beachcomber Mai Tai for a whopping $18. This, if it's the true spec, should be a rum forward cocktail with 2 1/2 oz of rum. They batch their cocktails (not a problem) so I couldn't see their build, but there is absolutely no way this drink is made to specification - my guess is they are skimping on rum as a cost play, batching lets them get away with it. Drink was, frankly, pretty forgettable - not bad, just unremarkable. Wanting to see how they could do off-menu, I asked the bartender to make me a Hemingway Daiquiri. Now, for a cocktail bar that has a long history of rum centric and tiki leaning cocktails, this should be an off the top of their head cocktail. It's simple - white rum, lime and grapefruit juice, and maraschino liqueur. Bartender had never heard of it before, and then spent a few minutes staring in to his phone presumably looking up the recipe. He built it using Rhum JM white rum which is absolutely the wrong rum for this drink - it needs a white Cuban rum (which we know we can't get in the U.S.), so the usual sub would be Bacardi, Planteray 3 stars, Probitas, or others. Definitely not a Martinique agricole. This may be a too detailed nit for some, but with the framing that this is supposed to be a premium cocktail bar, this is an error that should not happen, and not for $18. Figuring the third time might be a charm, ordered the Trader Vic 1944 Mai Tai. This is the classic, the standard against which all others are measured. It's a distinct recipe, especially if you call yours the 1944 Mai Tai. This was not that. It was again light on rum with probably the wrong rums used in their blend. It was also substantially over dosed with orgeat making the almond sweetness an almost overpowering flavor versus playing a subtle supporting actor role. Again, swing and a miss. Drinkable if you like sweet, and don't mind hefty almond. But if you want to try the real Mai Tai - this is not it. Overall, for the price, fairly indifferent bar service, lack of information available to the customer (e.g., spirits list, etc.), and fairly off the mark cocktails I think you can find far better spots right now for that same money. If you definitely want that tiki inspired cocktail vibe - your better bet will be places like Wusong Road in Cambridge or Shore Leave in Boston, and I'm sure there are others. Sorry Baldwin Bar, you've lost your edge and it shows.

I would love to visit the restaurant and hope too soon to check it out and meet any workers or the owner but unfortunately at 35, I am having bad problems with my back and not able to stand or walk for three minutes or less . Now let's get to what is important! The brisket and the ribs are truly great, cooked right and so, so tasty and both make a great meal especially with the pit beans. The pulled pork sandwich is absolutely delicious. So flavorsome. The cornbread is really good. Like really, really good. I haven't had a cornbread like that since my mother would make it. I love getting a pulled pork sandwich and some cornbread. The kids absolutely love everything that I have named too. I was happy that my son had liked the pit beans, I was surprised sometimes he can be picky but he really liked them. He loves everything they are, especially the pulled pork sandwich and the cornbread. Even though I have not been there, they seem to have put a lot of work into their menu and definitely into their cooking each time I get something from there... everything is always cooked amazing. They absolutely have everything under control.

Much to our surprise, it took 10+ minutes for anyone to come over to our table, and there were only about 4 tables sat in the entire restaurant. Not off to a great start. We got the pulled pork, pulled chicken, ribs, burnt ends, brisket, mac and cheese, brussel sprouts, coleslaw - all were exceptional. Assuming service improves, I would give this place a 5/5 and is an absolute must go to. Skip heading into the city and go to the suburbs. Parking is easier, and the food quality is much better!
