My wife and I have dropped by this place twice, as it's right off the highway and next door to Dunkin Donuts. Today my wife ordered soft shell tacos which she enjoyed, and I got the fajita burrito which was a generous helping of ground beef, black beans, guacamole, cheese, sour cream, onions, and peppers in a burrito. Messy but delicious. We also ordered chips and salsa, and the fresh salsa was worth the trip. Unique, fresh, and the right amount of heat. I wish I could get it in a jar. I'd be buying it once a week. This little hole-in-the-wall is a hidden jewel in Wilmington. The staff was friendly and helpful. For a tiny title place, it was clean and attractive. Great food and a nice surprise! I had passed Mona's Kitchen before and didn't realize they offered Mexican food along with wraps, salads, pizza, and more. I tried the fish tacos, and they were fresh, flavorful, and a generous portion. Three tacos with beans and rice for $20 was a great value. I'll definitely be back! read more

Excellent food but overcharged for items. Tried clarifying with the guy but he still charged me north of 25 dollars for a lunch with chips and salsa only needed 1 bag of chips. Coke is 4 dollars bs. Guy working the register couldent cancel and or rectify the order for some reason. Lunch shouldn't cost near 30 dollars wild. read more

If you don't work in the area, you will miss it. It is so worth the drive. It's in a corporate/medical office area, so it's constantly busy with those customers. I had to pick up something at FedEx and here it was. Ordered the beef gyro. Fair warning, you can easily make two meals out of this deliciousness, but not me because I'm a chubby ninja. I don't ordinarily write reviews for "sub shops." I don't ordinarily go to a sub shop for a memorable meal. There are a few exceptions: Once upon a time there was a place in Medford called "Hungry Herb's" and there's a place in Acton called "T.C. Lando's." Mona's has stepped into that pantheon, dishing up just about the best darned steak tip "bomb" I've ever had. The meat was tender, juicy, and delightfully flavorful. The cheese was creamy, well melted, and flowed throughout the mix of steak, salami, mushrooms, onions, and peppers. The salami added a real umami treat. The fresh roll was definitely a notch above the usual sub shop bread. I ordered at the counter from a friendly woman, waited, and took it home. It was packed more nicely than expected, cut in half and in a styrofoam box, and it was still piping hot after a 10 minute drive. This was a surprisingly delightful meal. read more

The food from Mona's Kitchen is good, but they are really new and probably need a bit more time to get the restaurant running properly. Before I visited, my coworker told me of her not so great experience with her order. She had ordered a cheeseburger with ketchup, mayo and relish but was given a cheeseburger sub, and was going to be charged $12 instead of the $3.99 for a cheeseburger. Upon notifying the staff of their mistake, they kindly gave her the sub for the price of the cheeseburger. However, when she opened the sub, she realized that they had added hot peppers to it instead of the ketchup, mayo and relish she requested for. She was not able to eat it at all.... Despite hearing her experience, I decided to place a pickup order with a few other coworkers. I dropped off a physical copy of the order (just 5 orders) at 11.15am hoping to avoid any errors in the order, and told them the order would be picked up at 12.45pm that same day. The order was not ready until close to 1.15pm, half an hour later than our stated pick up time. It seemed like we were not the only ones who had to wait longer than expected, there were two nurses from the clinic next door who didn't seem too happy too. The order was incorrect again. We were missing a grilled chicken Greek salad wrap, and we had an extra chicken cutlet sub with no sauce, not even on the side... Nevertheless, I would still give Mona's Kitchen another shot as the food was good and it is in close proximity to my office. The chicken cutlet was juicy and tender compared to other usual lunch places. The chicken ranchera wrap also had a generous amount of chicken fingers and veggies, although it was a little too salty. Any time I come out here for doctors apportionment I always order their chicken salad sub. It is the best chicken salad I've ever had! Fresh bread and they also add onion, shredded lettuce, delicious pickles (idk what kind they are but they're really good), tomatoes and cheese. Veggies are very fresh! 3.5 stars. Stopped in for lunch mid week and had a really tasty Greek wrap. Wrap included Grilled Chicken, Lettuce, Tomato, Onion, Feta Cheese, Olives & Greek Dressing. The chicken in the wrap was especially tasty. Service as really quick and friendly. The restaurant is still very new and is overall very clean. Plenty of seating. They have a lot of choices for sandwiches, wraps, salads, pastas, pizzas (including Gluten Free pizzas). The gourmet sandwiches looked really good- maybe next time around! read more

This is a dang good pizza joint, especially considering how early on it is in its life. You can tell how passionate the chef is about his food. Price was about up to standard with other pizza and sub shops in the area. However, where Mona's separates itself from the pack is its variety. While I obviously haven't had everything on the menu, there were so many intriguing options that it has instilled a desire in me to try out all of their potential creations. When the chef handed me our pizza, it's like he was handing over his first born child. You just don't see that passion in everyday pizza. My one con was their bathroom. It smelled terrible, and the airfreshener, soap and paper towels were all gone. Normally that's enough to deduct it a point, but that Charlie guy's review absolutely stinks and looks like a 3rd grader wrote it and brings zero valid points to the table. Anyways that's my review of Mona's Kitchen. I would highly recommend and will be stopping by there again soon! read more

I LOVE this place. We open up our Christmas time building across the street and when we found this place we couldnt stop going. The food is fresh, well prepared, and DELICIOUS. We have ordered several kinds of hot subs pizzas, calzones, salads, and side orders and have not been disappointed. The location is very clean, the staff is very friendly and welcoming. They really strive to make sure the customers get good service and quality food. I would highly recommend it. They have something for everyone. Our favorites are; the steak tip sub with the special sauce, the marinated steak tip ceasar salad, the grilled Chicken Ceasar salad, the chicken parmesan sub, the steak and cheese, The Shrimp and Alfredo pizza, any pizza really, the Jalapeno Poppers, mozzarella sticks, and cajun fries. They are all do good. My next venture I will try the shrimp Scampi pizza. OH MY! I HIGHLY Recommend Monas Kitchen. Its truly a hidden gem. read more

Guy in the back who I believe is Mona's husband is extremely rude and stubborn. We order a pizza and they forgot one of the ingredients. He argued with me over the phone saying he made the pizza and did not forget anything. Said he would give me the ingredient on the side or I could bring the pizza back for him to look at it and maybe make me another one. Horrible customer service. Not a big fan of the food my boss got a garden salad it look good. I was getting the chicken parm with ziti they charge .75 cents for the cheese on the parm and i asked for extra sauce and nothing it was the 2nd time i was there and will not be back. not to mention that when you walked in the front door every employee was on there cell phones. read more
