The fried eggplant was delicious, the crunchy texture with the creamy eggplant on top of the pizza - it worked. Slices are large and plate sized, we were full with one each. Plenty of seating here, and they have a sauce bar that you help yourself to. I went for the hot honey and that added a nice kick to my slice.

Forget every single pizzeria within miles and miles (aside from the obvious haunts in the North End, various Pizzeria Regina locations, and Bianchi's on Revere Beach); you'll truly not find a better, more consistent, more authentic thin crust pie. Always pefectly crisp on the bottom and chewy throughout, Franco's lightly flavored dough is a perfect carrier for the toppings without detracting or distracting from them. That being said, I dare you not to eat the ends! Add to it the uncomplicated, lightly-salted, slightly chunky marinara sauce and fresh, sweet mozzarella, and you already have one hell of an unbeatable pizza. Don't stop there, though -- Any of the fresh toppings are bound to please. Delivery is available in the general vicinity, and in-store pickup from the friendly staff is always quick and painless.

It plays great service to the top-notch sauce which has the perfect amount of sweet. The cheese was probably my favorite part though. This place is not afraid of flavor! It's powerful, zesty, and has many notes. I asked the owners what kind of cheese they use and was told they do a combo of cheeses including AMERICAN. This was shocking to me as I've never had American on my pizza. Needless to say they are pulling it off. While sitting in the porch at their location on 114, overlooking Richardson's vast pastures, I pushed my family to think of a pizza in this flavor tier. Really hard pressed.
