Rated #6 BEST pizza restaurant in the world 2026.
Jeannette A.

Wow.... Wow....Wow.... The pizza is seriously the BEST IVE EVER HAD. I can see why they won for TOP pizza multi years in national and international competitions. The setting is classy/upscale but comfortable and welcoming. Busy atmosphere buzzing with food enthusiasts. Highly recommend this place and truly a FIVE

so the view is cute on the corner and since it was still nice out all the windows were open. bread and pesto on the table is nice. the food was decent and the service was decent. it was sunday between peak times so it could have been better. it feels like the place you go to when you need a last min reservation or don't want to wait in line in the north end. i would do it again if i had to for those reasons. but if i have the time or plan ahead, i have other spots that i prefer over this one.

Spaghetti and meatball

On a super hot Boston day we happened upon a man walking out of this restaurant with a GIANT pizza down the street. Upon seeing that we headed in! It was the kind of pizza with an amazing crust, fresh toppings and it said chewy, cheesey, and saucey goodness. The air conditioning was wonderful since it was 99 outside and our water glasses were never empty. We ordered a meat and cheese platter for an appetizer that was perfect. Then enjoyed the spaghetti and meatball, a special pizza (with a fresh truffle sliced at the table) and the shrimp limoncello. The food was great wonderful flavors and really well done. I loved the shrimp limoncello it was just delightful on a hot day!

The mozzarella en carroza was delish and we had the ragu pizza. Toppings delish a bit too much sauce but yummy and my prosecco only added to it. It was a quick bite to share after a trolley ride and we enjoyed it.

Everything we had was delicious! They start you off with bread and pesto which was incredible. My wife had the mushroom risotto which she loved and I had a pizza. Pizza was one of the best I've had. Nothing to complain about here. Keep up the great work! Can't wait to come back!

Place was packed when I went. I had a reservation and still had to wait like 15 min to get in and had to sit in the bar. The bar girl was really nice. Food came out insanely fast, so that's a plus. It felt fresh and tasty, but for the guanciale I would have preferred it to be more thin/chopped (maybe I'm the one wrong). My only complaint is that everything felt rushed but other than that no complaints.

Another stop in Boston right after hitting up a World Cup game! We had a reservation and were blessed enough to be seated quickly. The room is quite small and has a cozy vibe to it. I opted to get one of their pizzas. Adding the cheese in the middle was a delicious touch and their crust was made to perfection! No notes! My fiancée's pasta was also very solid. It wasn't our favorite spot, but it was a nice send off from Boston!

Chicken Marsala sans mushrooms or the mashed potatoes/pasta detailed in the menu

This review is for food delivery to a hotel that was walking distance from this restaurant. I never leave negative reviews but, to be blunt, the food here was awful. Even accounting for the fact that food that is delivered is never as good as food that is ordered at a restaurant, the food was bland (is using at least salt and pepper a crimeand nothing as described on the menu. The chicken Marsala did not come with pasta or mashed potatoes. It instead came with 2 strips of what tasted like a thick french fry. It also had barely any mushrooms, as you can see in the photo. The caprese salad was comprised of flavorless tomatoes and at least a decent mozzarella. But it did not have basil, olive oil or balsamic. It's Boston, so there are plenty of Italian restaurants that will deliver to nearby hotels. Make sure you do not order from this one.

We went on a very busy Monday, the place was absolutely packed around 1pm so we ate at the bar. Service was hit or miss. Pesto with bread was a nice touch. They do not serve coffee, only espresso. We both ordered pasta and thought they were just OK but nothing special and the lunchtime pricing was more like dinner pricing. In retrospect this place is really known for pizza and if we went back, we would definitely try that instead.

This was one of my favorite lunch stops during my trip to Boston. The bar was welcoming and warm, thanks to the brick pizza oven. It was neat being able to watch the pizzas being prepped & cooked and the chickens spinning on the rotisserie behind the bar. The server behind the bar was very friendly, and of course, the pizza was amazing! I think I spent at least 2 hours here savoring every bite while trying different Italian wines. I will definitely make a point to come back next time I'm in Boston!

While in the North End for dinner, we actually were planning on checking out another restaurant, but were turned away because they closed their kitchen an hour early. We found Quattro down the street and they happily seated us even though they were closing in an hour. I loved the dark ambiance of Quattro with it's open windows and spooky vibes. We ordered the Soppressata Pizza, Meatball Madness and Cacio e Pepe to share. They even gave us complimentary warm bread with pesto on the side. We really enjoyed everything, but I wasn't too impressed with the Cacio e Pepe - I was hoping for a more pepper flavor. The pizza was good, we really liked the crust and we also really liked the flavor of the meatballs. Quattro offers lots of seating inside and I believe they even had a bar area. Our server was super nice, personable and gave us great tips and recommendations on places we should visit while in town! We left full and satisfied! Check them out!

Espresso Martini

Fantastic menu and vibe all around. For a date night sit at the bar. Espresso Martini's were top notch in a town with many great options. Servers were attentive and helpful. A must visit.

Lobster ravioli
Hussain L.

Busy Italian kitchen eatery, definitely make a reservation! Excellent service, wide variety of pizza, pasta and rotisserie dishes. I highly recommend the lobster ravioli, and the new ragu napolitana wood fire pizza (beef and veal). The Caesar salad is a nice simple pairing. It can be a loud atmosphere, so be prepared for that.

Everything tasted phenomenal. The setting was so cozy and it's always a wonderful time in this space. My partner had made a last minute reservation, but realized he made it for the wrong day when we arrived and although they were a full house that Saturday night, he made sure to get us in with a short wait. Inside is dark and loud, which is not much of my preferred ambience. Luckily, we sat outside with fresh air and it was a warm Summer evening, so it felt nice. The antipasto dish arrived very quickly and was a beautiful layout. Of course I desired to save some room for the entree but ended up eating about 3/4 of the appetiser before it arrived. The chicken marsala was absolutely perfect, still steaming on the plate as she placed it before me. I told myself I would only eat half the dish and take the rest back to my hotel for snacking later. However, my taste buds are not allow me to stop feasting on this Italian delicacy. If you're ever in the area, don't worry about the other Italian restaurants in the downtown, although I am sure that they are well and good, but Giacomo's is well worth your consideration. The shrimp was cooked perfectly but the seasoning was on the bland side and too little sauce. It did have a nice brightness on the lemon and butter. A very popular, long-established Greek restaurant in Boston. Last time I walked in and was told…read morethere would be a two-hour wait, but this time I made a reservation and finally got to enjoy a delicious meal! Tiropita Rolls: Very straightforwardly delicious. The bread was warm, soft, and airy, with a rich aroma of butter and cheese; the spread was a rich blend of honey butter, and olives, sweet and delicious, perfect as an appetizer. Tzatziki: A slight disappointment. The cucumber and Greek yogurt spread was surprisingly heavy, a bit cloying, and the pickled kumquats weren't as sweet as I expected, but rather had a slightly bitter taste. The pita bread was thick and soft, probably better suited for dipping in soup--like Bourdeto--than for the spread. Bourdeto: The tomato fish soup was a pleasant surprise. The freshly caught grouper of the day was thick and tender, lightly seared to create a crispy crust. The broth was a vibrant, tangy tomato base, with onions, fennels, and red peppers contributing a sweet, layered flavor. Trahanas, fermented wheat and dairy, added richness and a smooth texture to the soup. The broth also had a slight spiciness, making it incredibly comforting on a chilly autumn day. Portokalopita: The dessert that elevated the entire meal. A traditional Greek orange phyllo, the cake, made from crumbs of phyllo pastry, becomes incredibly soft and moist after being soaked in orange syrup. Every bite was bursting with rich orange sweetness and fragrance, followed by a slightly bitter orange zest--perfectly balanced. Paired with Manouri cheese ice cream, the creamy flavor was incredibly rich and creamy, creating a harmonious and layered flavor profile.

My friend and I split the pastitsio (meat pasta dish), kotopoulo (a chicken dish), louza charcuterie, and tiropita (halloumi rolls). The rolls were stuffed with halloumi and were dense in the best way possible. Coupled with the louza charcuterie, the appetizers were a hit. The two entrees were small but mighty - they were packed with rich meats but also featured microgreens, herbs, and other tangy, bold flavors that really balanced the dishes. We got some glasses of Greek orange wine that I can't remember the name of but it paired excellently with the food per our waitress's recommendation. Since it was summertime, we were able to sit outside in the courtyard out back. I had been to SRV before and had no idea this space was even there. There was one dish that simply wasn't doing it for us, but we didn't complain or ask for anything different. Then something happened that really stood out. The chef came out herself and mentioned that she noticed we barely touched that particular dish. She asked if she could send us something else instead. Sure enough, she did. The restaurant is quite large and was nearly empty during our visit, but it was early. The curated menu includes cicchetti, or individual bites, along with first courses, pasta, fish, and other proteins. Despite the variety, I found it surprisingly difficult to find something appealing. We shared the zucchini, served over radicchio with ricotta and chipotle. It was heavier than expected, and the combination of flavors felt muddled rather than cohesive. For our main course, we both ordered the hake, served with fennel, onion, and pine nuts. As with the zucchini, the presentation felt somewhat awkward and unrefined, and the individual flavors did not come through as distinctly as we had hoped. The highlights were the friendly service and the Spring in a Bottle nonalcoholic sparkling rosé. Overall, however, we were underwhelmed and would not return.
