QTea is now open, as of 10/29! Hopefully the power outages don't affect their grand opening, but for those of you missing iTea, you can expect the same great service from Spenser and team, and better tasting boba tea than before! I showed up before their opening hours at 11:25, to be their first ever customer! One order of Roasted Oolong milk tea with light ice and sugar replaced with Splenda. While that was being prepared, I snapped a few pictures of the cute new penguin logo and menu. (Since I arrived early, I got a behind the scenes look as iTea Corporate came by to inspect that everything was changed from the old brand so that there's nothing legacy left behind. Seemed like everything checked out to move forward for opening!) My order finished up and the tea is creamier than before -- tasty! For now, the menu is similar to before, but with new creamer, new teas and new syrups. Expect Spenser to test out new creations -- I hear that Yakult frosty, honeydew and black fruit tea combinations are on the experimental list. And you didn't hear it from me, but when Girl Scout Cookie season arrives, there might be some new limited-time specials unveiled! Been coming here since they opened. The boba drinks are really refreshing. My favorite is the taro milk tea or the taro smoothie with boba. Very fast service and great ambience. Great place for family to enjoy a nice refresher. Plenty of parking but limited seating. Take Togo if you can. This is a family owned business. Great Boba and great prices!!! This place is a gem and located conveniently opp Lowe's so makes my Lowe's trip always good. They don't have avocado smoothie but they do have a lot of other options. I tried the Roasted oolong and husband got his usual Okinawa. They were so much better than most places especially T4u. Pretty decent boba place in Dublin! It used to be I-tea at this location. I ordered the black tea Oreo smoothie and jasmine green milk tea with boba ($12). Pretty pricey for boba but if it's good, it's worth it! Ordered at the store and drinks were ready within 5 mins. Boba was nice and chewy and I believe all drinks come in the large size. We got their taro milk tea and avocado smoothie which was made with real avocado. We also tried their popcorn chicken which you can choose from white meat or dark meat. Insanely fast service, got my drink seconds after I ordered. I got a 30% sweet classic boba milk tea and the tea itself compared to other boba places runs less sweet with a stronger tea aroma. Perfect! I will say that the pearls were a bit smaller/less chewy than at other places, but overall it was really good. As for the price, it is slightly more expensive, like the price of the same drink at iTea with an extra topping, but personally I think it's worth it. The place doesn't give off chain vibes. The plastic film on top of the drinks are the non-custom kind you can find at many family run boba shops, but the penguin theme is so cute! Attached are some images. There was some seating inside with small tables, good for waiting or eating something you ordered using their free guest wifi, but a bit too narrow to be studying/working from. Wife loves coming here and my kids love it here. The basil chicken is always a great choice. The drinks are good and equally important, the customer service is always top notch: very friendly, accommodating and they show they actually care about their customers. A quick example is that when we ordered our chicken but was late, they made sure to keep it out for us with holes poked into it to make sure the chicken wouldn't steam and get soggy. Ordered spicy basil popcorn chicken breasts and a white peach oolong milk tea. The spice seasoning on the popcorn chicken was delicious, and its not eye-watering mouth burning spicy so don't expect that, it has a mild spice with great flavor! Drinks here are good but what really sets this place apart is their snacks. Their popcorn chicken here is honestly the best I have had hands down anywhere! Super crisp and tender/juicy. i used to go to this place a lot when they first opened. but then they started watering down the tea a bit. and then i got realllyyy bad food poisoning from their tea once. obviously i can't be 100% sure but i am 99% sure. and i noticed that they don't consistently charge people the same amount of money. that is, sometimes they'll sneak in extra or sometimes they'll not charge some others on tax. i can't tell what the reasoning is behind this. favoritism? it makes no sense. so make sure to TAKE A GOOD LOOK AT YOUR RECEIPT!! and count your change if you're paying in cash!!!! the owner will literally shortchange you! it's ridiculous this needs to be called out. i won't be going back to this place because of their shady practices and possible freshness issues. read more

My go to boba place in the area. Their popcorn chicken is so good because you can choose between white and dark meat (I get dark) and it's always a hit. They also have the best rose milk tea in my opinion it has a strong floral flavor that I love. Their boba is also always very soft and fresh. Their customer service is immaculate. If you arrive a couple minutes after closing you don't need to worry bc they will still take ur order. The people there are so sweet and patient. Solid boba tea join off of the 580 freeway. We stopped on our way home from Manteca. The kids love their popcorn chicken with skewer sticks. The nice thing about this spot, they let you choose between white or dark meat chicken. Everything is cooked fresh and may take a minute but well worth it. The only negative I have, they don't give you fried basil/herbs with your chicken. I didn't ding them because the nice girl at the register brought us out our food seeing I had two kids in tow and also asked us how everything was after we had settled down to eat. The place is small, not for large groups because there are no nearby seating. Indoor seating has min 2 chairs per table so definitely don't bring a crowd. Their benches right out front also seat two and there are only two out there. We ordered two popcorn chickens one Y1 (white meat) and Y2 (dark meat) to see the difference. Y2 was definitely juicier. Service was awesome and they had a nice stream of customers while we were hanging out. Most (like ourselves) opted to eat in our vehicles. My go to is the Hokkaido milk tea with the least amount of sugar. Still plenty sweet, I can't imagine what regular sugar would taste like. If you find yourself staying at the Aloft Hotel across the way, this would be a cool place to hang out. Caution, cell service sucks in this area, so try to grab their WiFi password. We enjoyed the tea and boba at this location - the black milk tea was very good, not too sweet at 50%, and my husband enjoyed his thai milk tea. The boba was a good texture/chewiness. Our main beef is the same with boba throughout the entire bay area - we just can't justify the $5-6 pricetag of current cups of boba! :( read more

As instructed by Cindy, the QTea owner, to order ahead online or by calling, we called ahead to place our order. The process was quick, easy and painless. We ordered two Black Milk Tea with Boba, 30% sugar. The tea was spot on, I could taste the tea and I really liked it that way. The sweetness level was really to my liking too, at 30%. The boba was well cooked as well, but one constructive criticism that I had was I wish the boba was much more sweetened. When consumed with the drink, the boba almost tasted a little bland in comparison to the drink. I think that would be a one major departure from their previous drinks when they were iTea. But I still think they make good milk tea drinks :) Oh and their customer service was top notch. read more

It was hot Monday afternoon. I was traveling back from a road trip with some girlfriends and we were craving some boba and popcorn chicken. What a great find on Yelp. Tons of tea, coffee and fruit boba options. Totally fresh boba and refreshing drinks. The popcorn chicken was absolutely delicious along with an extra chicken wing order. Perfectly fried and seasoned. The chicken wings came with a nice creamy dipping sauce along with other standard sauces. Again, the weather was so hot, so the shop put out a table and chairs out in the back of The shop, since the front of the shop had no shade. They went above and beyond. Great customer service! Well, definitely the drinks were done in a timely manner and there was no sick employee making our drinks. So that's good. We got a super fruit tea and a mango frosty. Overall it was ok. Nothing to brag about and we have had better of both drinks in San Leandro iTea to be specific. So that's something this location needs to improve on.
