I always come to Qt nails. And today I may have found my go to gals. Tina (acrylic) and Tammie (pedi) did an awesome job. They paid great attention to the detail in my nails and I'm happy with the results. Thank you ladies read more

I use to love this place, I been going here for about a year now. I was always recommending this place to my friends and sisters. I decided to get my nails done, full set with gel which cost me 35 (+ tip which I regret). This was on Wednesday the 25th, the lady was very aggressive and rude. Never spoke to me once and the whole time talking to another coworker and I felt uncomfortable. I couldn't relax because having them in front of my face this was unprofessional. She knew that the color needed another coat but she was in a rush and messed up multiple time. I had to tell her but she continued to get more aggressive towards me. I decided to come back to see if they could fix my set because it hasn't been a week and my nails are falling and they look horrible. The color looks like it's fading away. The lady who's in charge, told me to come back an hour. ... so I did. When I arrived back, the lady who did my nails looked at me and told me to come sit down. I told the lady "no, I don't want her". They were forcing me to go with her. Plus charging me to fix them. I couldn't believe it. They need to be careful how they treat there customer and the ones who been going there for some time. . Very unprofessional. read more

They're so awesome! I drive 18 miles one way, to experience their great service and efficiency. The staff is very kind. I never make an appointment. I simply walk in and we're immediately taken care of. It's so difficult to find a salon that provides great service. Good work QT! read more

This is my favorite nail salon in Long Beach. These guys are always good. Consistently. I drive 3 miles out of my way just to go to this nail salon because I know that every time I come out I will be happy. They are just awesome! read more

Clean salon with newer chairs. There's ample parking since it's located in a strip mall. I read that they didn't have an assortment of polish colors so I brought my own. Though they had a few, the selection was kinda limited. I paid $18 for a spa pedi, and was happy with the overall service. Most of the ladies had a solid command of English, which makes it easier when requesting options or having a chi chat. I'd return because of the spa chair, good pedi, clean salon, and the polite staff that you can rap with :-) read more

This place was just okay. I came for a pedicure, she cut my nails (crooked) and painted them (sloppy), but I quit getting disappointed about pedicures anymore, I wonder if they realize that they provide such a half ass job?? So what if they are my feet... I have expectations and if you don't like what you do, quit making me pay for your service. They should have pedicure quality control. read more

after exiting the jewelery store next door, i noticed qt nails and thought it might be a good idea to get my toes done before i headed off to vegas later that week. i'm so glad i happened upon this place! i was greeted soon after walking in and was promptly seated in a spa chair. the place is a little crowded, but has about 7 spa chairs and 5 regular stations, i believe, so enough room to accommodate several customers. price is very reasonable. i got a french spa pedi and the total came to $19. the reading material is really limited and no tvs, so i just sat and enjoyed myself. this was possible because the woman who did my toes wasn't very chatty, which i really appreciate. i like relaxing at the salon, not talking! the french tip looked (and still looks) great! she listened to my requests, did a thorough job cutting my cuticles, and seriously massaged me for like 15 MINUTES! AMAZING! the place i used to go would slap lotion on and get straight to painting. i felt so relaxed. qt nails is wonderful. the girls are friendly and they do a great job for a decent price! read more

After four years of getting gel nails at QT Nails, I am still thrilled each time with the outstanding quality, great friendly service at the lowest prices anywhere!! Thank you Hailey and Kim!! Love this place read more

Qt Nails - I love the lavender withe dark purple.... - Nail Salons Near Me - Long Beach, California

Okay so I was going around the area since I just moved around there. I saw this place and walked in. They were able to see me right away. Which is why they only get one star... Now the service was meh. They weren't rude but they definitely didn't try to be friendly or social. Which isn't really a bad thing but hey at least a friendly smile would be nice. Now the actual nails, I am upset! I got a pedicure where they barely even scrubbed the bottom of my foot. Even for a standard pedicure, I had it done way better! And I also got a gel manicure, now I have gotten them done before at another location. Normally, you feel something on your nails when you put them under the UV light. At their location, I felt nothing! That did make me kinda question if they were using the right products. But I saw the nail polish bottle they were using and it did say "UV gel". So I didn't say anything. Now when I left I was happy with how it looked. But after being home, I looked at my nail and I have a CHIP!!! Like I said, I had gel nails before. Mines didn't chip till like 3 weeks! And this chipped not even a day after, it chipped HOURS after!!!! I would NOT trust their products!!! I say keep on moving for a different location!! So disappointed!! Not worth the time or money!!! read more

Qt Nails - Seriously! Not even a day with these "gel nails" and I already got a chip! - Nail Salons Near Me - Long Beach, California

4.5 stars? They are slightly more expensive than some of the other nail shops, but they seem worlds better in terms of cleanliness and I've never had an issue getting someone to do a pedicure pretty much immediately. Be careful of their nail polishes- one that I used wouldn't dry: I think it was quite old and it remained sticky after quite a while. I asked them to re-do the polish, since I didn't have 2-4 hours to wait and see if the polish would, in fact, dry. I bring my own polish now. Sometimes I pop over to Marshall's, where their checkout line/impulse purchase area has loads of OPI and other good polish brands. read more

Walking past and decided try french pedicure here. I must say, I did not like the fact that I could not see if tools were sanitized. They were brought from the backroom, so I assumed they were sanitized back there. However, enjoyed the work that Kim did. Her massage lasted 15 minutes. Very relaxing. She did a nice job. Will come again and request her. read more

Awful experience. Expected me to walk barefoot on dirty floor because they ran out of foot covers and the lady wanted me out of chair so she could rush me thru, even tho it was not busy at all. Tried to say my debit card was declined just so I'd pay cash. Not sure how these hack places stay in business but I wouldn't go back if they paid me. I can only hope that I didn't catch a fungus of some sort. Just awful and ruined my Saturday. read more

Love them.they paint flowers on my toes 4 free and give long arm and foot messages. Very reasonable, and I have tried a lot of salons

Love this place! Clean and reasonably priced! and I Loooove that they don't have a TV w/ oprah or soaps on it like every other nail joint! Spa pedicure with Ana or Hunie and you can't go wrong...amzing massage and great job w/ the nails...I'll be back read more

the spa pedicures are the only thing worth going for. they're cheap (under $20) and i'm not (too) scared about their methods of sanitation. my friends and i go here, because of the good price, location, and well...mostly price. i don't recommend the manicures though, they chip within an hour. you don't really need an appointment, but if you have a larger group of girls (3+?) and you want to be next to each other, or get done at the same time, i recommend showing up with about 15 minutes to spare. walk ins are welcome. oh, and there is a shortage on quality polish, so i might recommend bringing in your own if you have something particular in mind, because theirs is "eh" at best. this place is nearby coffee bean and tea leaf, marshalls, and in & out burger. basically, i don't know about you, but that makes me set for the whole afternoon! read more

I usually get my eyebrows done here, so i finally decide to get my nails done. the place always looks clean, and the people are soooo nice. my only problem i have is that they have such a small space for such a successful business. there were so many people there that when they decided to start my mani pedi, they put me and one other lady by the door with a makeshift bowl to soak my feet. it was awkward, but they did an okay job on my nails. i was a little disappointed in their color selection so i had to settle for a color i didnt really want. i wouldnt get my nails done here again, ill just stick to my eyebrows. read more

I've been coming to this nail salon for as long as I have been getting my nails done...ever since I was in high school...and I've had Lynn do my acrylics {she's the best at this...your nails stay on and looking amazing for at least 2 weeks and she's the best at the nail shape as well}...she's hard to get an appointment with since she has regulars...for my pedicures I got to Hunnie...she's a sweetie and always does a great job...she takes the time to really scrub my feet and diligently look at my nails when she's shaping them...she's thorough and I love and appreciate it...she has a firm touch when she massages my legs and feet and I literally find myself falling asleep in my seat! read more

I will give this place 3 stars due to how clean it was and the lady that did my pedicure was really nice. But there are more cons than pros Number one: the lady that seem to own the place or was the manager was not a very happy person and lacks customer service skills, she's like can you pay me now? Number two: they do not do Gel polish on the toes. Number three: they consider a spa pedicure if you sit in the spa chair so very old fashion Number four: I asked him to do a simple zigzag design and the lady couldn't do it she can only do a flower so if you're looking for designs this is not the place to go. Number five: when the lady asked me to pay her before I was even 30% completed with my service she didn't tell me that I couldn't write in a tip she just charge my card so I couldn't give the lady that did my pedicure at it more than two dollars that I had my pocket read more

Bad customer service. This is the second time I drive out my way to visit this nail salon. I never had problems before by just walking in. Now they said that everyone must make an appointment first. I don't understand why now, when before anyone could just walk in. I believe they judged me by my look and gave me a poor excuse. I saw atleast 3-4 nail artists just sitting there , one of them who did my nails before,,so why would I need an appointment? Never coming back here read more

I was given a gift certificate from here a couple of years ago and have been coming here ever since. It's clean, the ladies are friendly and it's reasonably priced. I always ask for Kim when I make my appointments. She gets down and dirty with the foot massage. It's never ending and I love it!!!! read more

This is my first time but also my last...I will not be back here. I went in here bc I was waiting for my car to get service at Hooman....My pedicure was messy and the color look so thick and not smooth. Please get me start with my french gel manicure....the worse I ever had. The white tip look messy and wasn't even...like I said its the worse. Please avoid!!!!! For $46 I walked out disappointed and wasted my money :( So sad and disappointed!!!!! read more

Been here twice and both times, fairly good. The last time I decided to get the gel polish and Lancey did a GREAT JOb! No bubbling and extra shiny. Gel polish manicure was $25. She was very careful to get the polish perfect! Although they usually run on appts. Based cliental they helped me even though i was a walk in. 3 days later my nails and cuticles are still perfect! read more

I like this place because of the amazing long foot massages, but I've tried to come at 6 at least 3 times now and the place is always closed, lights off and no one there, although they advertise that they close at 7. Please don't advertise that you close at 7 if no one is there past 6. Very frustrating! I was unhappy about this and the very expensive price for gel acrylics so I haven't come for a bit and used to come every week. Just tried to come for my first time in awhile and once again closed at 6... Not sure yet if I will return. read more

I came here for a full set and pedicure, my pedicure was probably the most decent experience here , my nail tech was nice but my nails look horrible , they look like i have dried up blobs on my nails , as funny as that sounds its true, the acrylic was wayyy to think , thicker than i have ever had in my experiences of having my nails done , i guess this is my fault it was a last minuet decision and it was on my lunch break(i got back to work late btw lol) i will not be coming here again , thanks but no thanks read more

They give the longest foot massage I've ever received without paying extra for it. My regular polish manicure lasted a week, which is amazing. LOVE this place & will continue to go back again & again! read more

They are a huge rip off rude to customers don't like to conversion with you parking was fine clean area but crappy nails and paint job not to many colors to chose from they lay on the coast and argue with customers don't have a lot of air flow through there and not a fan on each table . read more

To echo what I have already read: yes, you need to bring cash to tip the women that work there and yes, I recommend bringing your own colors for your manicure and pedicure, but this place is wonderful! The staff is very accommodating (I call the day of and can usually get an appointment immediately), it is very clean, and everyone is friendly. Plus, their mani and pedi prices are a great value. Lynn (who I always speak with on the phone) is efficient and organized and when my service is done I leave happy. read more

Not a place I'd reccomend. I went in on a Monday and was empty, they were very slow to help me and their gel selection was poor. My pedicure was good but my gel was awful...the color did not match the color that appeared on their sample. price was 45 for both gel and pedicure but not worth the trip here. read more

I've actually been here a few times because I had a great fill in when I went the first time, but the second and third time weren't good! The second full I had the thumb nail cracked 3 days after and I waited to get them redone only because I don't want one nail to have to be brand new between regular fills....I got my nails filled in a week ago (Saturday) and on Tuesday, my right index nail chipped off at the corner, in my sleep not while working...Wednesday my right thumb nail chipped off in the EXACT SAME SPOT! Also while sleeping! I woke up like this! . Oh and I was cut with that drill the second time, and both times it felt like my nails were burning, super hot! Which to some degree is normal, I've been getting my nails done for over 10 years I know this, but this was a crazy burn! I'll be going elsewhere it seems... read more

I shouldn't tell people about this place because I LOVE this place. I've travelled to spas and I can't get my nails done because I know for the price they charge, I can't get the same special treatment any where else better than QT Nails. I've been here a few times now and Cathy has done my fills. She has done a great job & I would recommend her highly.

Just be careful who you get to do your nails. My first visit was amazing and my nails looked incredible! But after this second visit (with a different person) I'm a little scared to go back in case I get her again. She cut a couple of my fingers when using the drill on my acrylics, and I mean cut to the point where I was bleeding, and she didn't say anything but rather tried to hide the blood from my view. Not only that, she was yanking my hand into unnatural positions and to top it off at the end when she was finishing up and filing under my nail to make sure it was all even she dug into my cut with the nail file, burned so bad! read more

This place feels like home to me. I've been going there for 8yrs or so. I just recently moved to Seattle and still fly down to get my spa pedicures here. My go to gal is Tina who is gentle and attentive. It's not a fancy place nor is it state of the art in nail design, but if you're looking for a simple salon with a great massage - this is pretty great for Long Beach. read more
