I stopped in here to get a quick pedi and there were 5 massage chairs, nice ambiance of a small water fountain as well as several large palms behind the chairs to give it a tropical type feel. The place isn't overly huge either. I think if I made it my frequent nail salon, I could know these ladies a lot better. But you gotta love how I walk in on a Sunday afternoon and there are 3 dudes rockin' the chairs. They definitely were not shy about pampering themselves. I am giving three stars as when I was getting my pedi, the lady said I didn't really need one. Uhhh wuuut? Didn't I come in here? I want a scrubbing like everyone else, dang it! I also noticed that afternoon that the polish was sort of bubbly, which inevitably meant that it was going to peel the polish. Bummer! I might try them again as it was fairly reasonable and I'll just have to put my foot down (literally) and say that no! my feet are not too soft! please scrub!

I have no problems with nail salons that aren't frou frou. I don't mind the lack of cucumber water. What does bother me is when you can just tell the place hasn't been cleaned in a while, when the foot sponges look like they've been scrubbing strong since '07, and where the NAIL LADY USES HER SHARP-ASS THUMBNAIL AS A CUTICLE IMPLEMENT. NASTY. Not only was that disgusting, it was painful. Usually a nice foot massage makes me forget a multitude of sins, but that wasn't a problem here, since my Sonicare toothbrush goes longer than these ladies when it comes to a massage. The only good thing about the place is that my pedicure looks decent. So that's how they earned one star (not that I have a choice on Yelp, but that's besides the point). But never again, Eiffel Tower...never.

I honestly expected them to do exactly what I asked for, especially since I showed a clear photo of what I wanted. But they didn't even come close. I tried several times to explain that I just wanted a simple heart design something every nail tech should know how to do but the girl said she didn't know how. I was honestly shocked because she works in a salon! The nails came out nothing like what I asked for. The shape is way too wide, the color is completely wrong, and they look thick and messy. I tried to explain nicely, but the girl didn't understand any English, and nobody even tried to step in and help. I showed her the picture again and again, and she just kept nodding like she understood but clearly she didn't. Even the pedicure was awful. Every toenail is a different shade, the polish was uneven, and there was no cleaning or care at all. It honestly looked rushed and lazy. I paid $110 for nails that I absolutely hate and still gave them a tip out of politeness. What made it even worse is that I told them straight up that I wasn't happy with how my nails looked. I said it clearly, hoping they'd at least try to fix it -- but they didn't care at all. They just ignored me and acted like it didn't matter. This place is not worth the money, time, or energy. The service is unprofessional, the staff doesn't listen, and the quality is terrible. I'll never come back here again it's one of the worst salon experiences I've ever had. read more

I have been going to this nail shop about 5 years. The ladies there are always nice and helpful. They make sure to say hello as you walk in. The owner is the best nail lady in my opinion , or her husband. I use the same lady for my pedicure also. I really like how they don't push you to purchase other things (only $5 more...) like the other salons. The pedicure is amazing because they massage then use hot stones on your legs. Pros: kid friendly, polite, clean and price is good Cons: they should take some time to paint or have more decor read more

Mind you, I was the only walk-in at the time I showed up, with 2 people getting pedicures. I'm sure this spot has their regulars, but it's not a place for me. I came in for a new gel extension set and spent over 2 hours getting the run around and sitting at the table, while the only nail tech (that could do gel extensions) was tending to other customers in the middle of my session. She accepted two pedicures while I sat there waiting for her to finish my set, which resulted in her rushing through the process and applying my nails poorly - crooked nail, wrong sizes, nails not fully covered, in addition to lack of service. I wish I had said something in person or walked out, but I couldn't get myself to do it. I felt bad because while all this was happening, three girls walked in with an appointment and they had to wait until I was done (at least another 30 min). So to the person running this place, please do not say you can take an appointment when you clearly don't have the capacity.

However, about a year ago, I wanted to get my nails done to treat myself prior to a surgery, and I stopped in here without an appointment. Since then, they have become my go-to, as someone who only bothers to go every 4-6 weeks. I've walked in even on relatively busy days and haven't had to wait (it's like ladies just materialize!), their work is fine [for my purposes], they are reasonably-priced, they are very friendly, the vibe is very chill. A couple of notes - I don't get gel nails, just regular mani-pedis, so I can't speak to gel or acrylic experiences. I'll also say that at the more expensive salon, the polish seems to last longer (and I always bring my own color, so perhaps it's a difference in base/top and/or application). The higher end salon is also a little better at callous removal. But for the price and convenience, as someone who basically just goes to get "cleaned up" and not to impress anyone later, I don't have any real complaints. As has been mentioned, they accept credit for payment, but tips need to be in cash.
