I have gone to this shop for years and even brought my parents. And they do an adequate job. I can say Mylène and Lilly are incredibly sweet and most techs are fine. Ana is probably one of the best but she is very biased and does not think highly of Black customers.. Despite years of getting services with generous tipping from my family I noticed she started cutting my services short or abandoning them altogether when white customers came into the shop. Also I noticed she would rush to give them post manicure hand & arm massages while telling me that service is not included. After witnessing this behavior on several occasions I finally brought it to the attention of Mylene. While she apologized profusely Ana never bothered to address the situation with me or apologize. In light of the recent social media uproar from arrogant and racist Asian service providers regarding Black customers I feel compelled to share my experience. It's really appalling behavior and attitudes and very hurtful. So despite overall decent treatment, Ana's behavior plus the fact they haven't gotten any new nail colors in years I feel compelled to share this honest review and the low rating. If this situation had not occurred I probably would rate them 3-4 stars but I can't get past the blatant disregard. read more

Cut my toe nails too short, was filing my skin since my nail was cut so short , I kept saying ow that hurt while cutting my cuticles ,didn't focus on my in grown I asked her to fix and she made me bleed. didn't see her sterilize my tools when she was finished. sweet people but I would not come again , first and last time. read more

It was my first time coming here, and I noticed they were becoming more and more busy as I was sitting there getting my nails done, and the girl started rushing more and more to finish my nails when I first got there the lady started on my toes and they turned out great But I started getting busy when she was working on my nails. So she started rushing. They're very sloppy gel nails. There's hair and fuzz dried into them 3 days after getting my nails done. *takes deep breath* this place was recommended.... Will I come back?, NO...... Went in for a: 1. Dip fill with French tip & gel 2. Pedicure with French tip and gel Came out with: 1. Dip nails and basic gel (no French) 2. Gel pedicure and busted toe 3. Paid 99 buckeroonies for this fudgery and potential toe fungus . Maybe they were having a bad day. From the moment I walked a lady named Miley or Myling was sooooo rude, she was attending someone's toes, when she rushed me to sit down and tell her what I wanted. I asked for pricing for the services I wanted and she puffed in frustration. The whole time she was talking crap like we don't live in 2024 and have phones that translate. What goes around comes around comes around..... had something to say about everyone that was there! There were two other ladies there, a newer tech named Van and there was also Lee. Van took care of my nails Lee took care of my toes Ya'll ready?! This isn't a place that gives you a service you want, but they will give you a service they want to give! Toes: I SPECIFICALLY asked them not to cut my nails only file! They did not care. They were ADAMANT about cutting my toe nail, to the point that I had a sweat stash and sweat dripping down my forehead screaming "OWWWW!, it hurts please stop I don't want you to cut my toenail because I'm ingrown PRONE. It's as she heard screams of pleasure, proceeded to hold down my foot and the other nail techs said "hunny she don't understand English" like okay! She understands crying right? THE TOOLS ! Ooohhh noooooo, I didn't notice how dirty as I was focused on the nails tech filing my nails down to the bone . Anyways I asked if they used new or clean utensils they said yes! I was sooooo skeptical. There were clippings and nails dust all over her little tray and no baggie to be found. I gave them the benefit of the doubt.... Then someone came in asking to only clip their toenails no crazy service..... I SAWWWW them USE the sameeee tools on the previous person with fungus and NOT CLEAN them ! I should have ran out at this point. She's was a really nice lady and said I just want to help (this was translated) besides the traumatic toe experience, she did a decent job. I couldn't keep going so I opted OUT of the French just was over it. I'll get back to ya'll if I get fungus! Nails: Asked for a fill and gel French tip My nail tech completely took off my dip (it was clear) when I asked for a fill. When I noticed that they were crooked she would get upset and file annoyed.... Like sis I gotta look at these and no my fingers are not crooked. Oh this place! I should have walked out once I took a look at the filthy counters, but I didn't-shame on me! Like it's been said, when someone shows you who they are believe them! So I sit down at a very dirty station and every piece of equipment needed to repair my two nails is just as tattered and dirty in appearance as the work station. I have two nails that split down the middle and require an acrylic coat. I get that no one wants to take the time to repair two nails; however, I don't have the skill or equipment to fix them myself. My nails were repaired after some going back and forth about me not "relaxing". I was also warned that the drill might burn me-what??? After the sloppy repair, which I figured I could make some adjustments to at home, I ask how much do I owe you. The manicurist says $5, the lady sitting at the next station says something in a foreign language and now the price is $10. I said, I was quoted $5 and that's what I'm going to pay. The lady that "corrected" the price, says, I'm the manager and she made a mistake, the right price is $10. Of course I paid $5, but I was so mad that I allowed my hands to be touched in this place after seeing how unkept it was and secondly because somebody was trying to pull a "fast one"! This place really needs a inspection by the health department! I can't recommend this place! read more

I had a new acrylic set put on and I wanted oval shape, I showed a couple pictures and this might be the worst manicure I've ever had. I'm super disappointed. After the gel polish came out too thick she was nice enough to redo it but it doesn't look any better because she was so sloppy with the acrylic application, it's thick and flat on my nails not to mention it doesn't even come all the way to the cuticle. Decided to give this place a shot after I asked a girl where she got her nails done because I liked it and she told me she went here. I asked for French tips with an almond shape on my natural nails. Gel mani with French tips cost $30 but I had to pay an extra $6 for Tina to fix one of my broken nail with powder.
