This review is long overdue. I came in on July 3, 2024 - granted, I'm sure it's a busier day than others, but I had an unfortunate experience here and will never come back. Mind you, I was the only walk-in at the time I showed up, with 2 people getting pedicures. I'm sure this spot has their regulars, but it's not a place for me. I came in for a new gel extension set and spent over 2 hours getting the run around and sitting at the table, while the only nail tech (that could do gel extensions) was tending to other customers in the middle of my session. She accepted two pedicures while I sat there waiting for her to finish my set, which resulted in her rushing through the process and applying my nails poorly - crooked nail, wrong sizes, nails not fully covered, in addition to lack of service. I wish I had said something in person or walked out, but I couldn't get myself to do it. I felt bad because while all this was happening, three girls walked in with an appointment and they had to wait until I was done (at least another 30 min). So to the person running this place, please do not say you can take an appointment when you clearly don't have the capacity. read more

This was my first time at Broadway Nails & Spa, after walking by so many times because I live in the neighborhood. I haven't done my nails in months, I just wanted to give them a break but I decided to walk-in today. I was driving home but decided to park and walked-in, Michelle took me right away! I had her do gel-x on me and my nails look perfect, exactly what I wanted with the shape, how it was done and the color! Michelle is a perfectionist and detail-oriented, you're in excellent hands to get gel-x with her. And then, decided to also get a gel pedicure, Claire did my gel pedicure and she slayed at technique, the color to match my gel-x and gave me the best massage, I did the Royal pedicure and I definitely recommend getting that done with Claire because she did an amazing job. Claire was also a perfectionist and detail-oriented. You're in great hands with Michelle and Claire! They both were so sweet, professional and fun to hang out with for a couple hours while I got my nails done by Michelle and Claire on a Thursday afternoon. They gave me a few of their cards that I'll definitely be handing out to anyone! I look forward to seeing them again on another Thursday. I've been thinking of whether or not to post here and ultimately decided to write a review. Back in July I made an appointment for me and my 2 sisters to get manicures and one pedicure. I called a few days in advanced and explained we would need 3 Gel X sets and one pedicure and asked if they had any openings for us before Wednesday night. I was assured that they would be fully staffed and could help us early afternoon on Wednesday. We scheduled for 2:30 pm on Wednesday thinking that should be plenty of time for the 3 of us to get in and out before we needed to go to a commitment that evening at 7:00. We walked in at 2:15 pm for our appointment and were asked to take a seat and they would help us as soon as they were done. Once we sat in the lobby area, I realized there were only 2 employees present and not a full staff like I was initially told on the phone 2 days prior when I made the appointment. This didn't bother me at all because I figured it couldn't take more than a couple of hours for us all to get done. My sister who was getting the pedicure was not called back until 3:15 pm which was 45 minutes PAST our scheduled time. We'll call the stylist doing the pedicure Stylist 2. It took stylist 2 almost another 45 minutes to finish the pedicure and ask what we were getting done. In that time the rest of us were still waiting to be helped. It was after the pedicure that we found out that Stylist 1 was the ONLY person on staff that day that could do Gel X extensions; Which was not at all what I was told when I made the appointment. At this point I'm getting stressed and upset because we have been here for almost 2 hours and it is now an hour and a half past our scheduled time. Stylist 1 had been sitting with the SAME client for the hour and 45 min we had been waiting. This client was already mid-extensions when we sat in the lobby. It was not until just after 4:00 PM that Stylist 1 started the first set of Gel X extensions for our group. It took an hour and a half (there was no soak off needed or anything, she was working with fresh, short nails that were ready for extensions). When Stylist 1 finished with the first extensions and it was already after 5:30, we knew there would only be a enough time for one more set; meaning even though we had been here since 2:15 pm, one of us would be walking out disappointed. By the time set 2 was done it was after 7:00 pm, meaning we were now going to be late getting to our prior commitment. We were charged $85 for each set of nails and $45 for the pedicure (no Gel polish might I add), which was OUTRAGEOUS pricing considering how long we had been waiting and the fact that a few nails were crooked and the edges of the cuticle were a little sloppy with the polish. I really wish the owner had been there that day. She usually checks over the work of her stylists and I wholeheartedly believe she would have been disappointed with the pace and quality of service. For 1.5 hours each without a soak off, I expect PRISTINE nails. Not sloppy, crooked nails. Overall it was a very frustrating experience. I would not recommend this place. This is not the first time we have had problems either, they are habitually slow. For the price and the quality, not to mention the lack of concern or customer service you are better off going to another salon. This place could also use a deep clean. It is dated and kind of dirty/dusty and Stylist 1 kept using the "Dirty/Used" container to prop our wrists up while she worked and at one point pulled a nail form out of the "Dirty/Used" container to pry off a nail form she had just glued to my nail and was dissatisfied with the position. She also did not sanitize her work station or the tools she was using between the client she was helping before us or between me and my sister. (If the store owner reads this review, stylist 1 is the person whose station is closest to the window and register. I was disgusted and horrified but too stressed out and burned out on the whole situation to ask her to stop so I could leave. I honestly just wanted to be done and she already had glued nail forms on most of my fingers at that point... I would give zero stars if I could. This place is just bad. TLDR; they always run behind schedule so your appointment time means nothing to them, they're dirty, lack basic sanitation and hygiene with tools and implement, lack customer service, take forever and and are overpriced for the sloppy work. Zero stars, would not recommend. read more

Went in today as my second time. The first time I got one of the best pedicures so I wanted to return hoping for the same results. The women who did my pedicure wasn't there I came to learn her name is Michelle. I asked for a simple short French tip and a pedicure white toes. I had a Picture for reference as I'll post below after. Immediately the women suggested dip powder I responded I've never tried it but if it will turns out like the picture sure. I didn't feel comfortable with application and noticed instantly it wasn't at all what I asked for and I mentioned it. So I just tried to trust the process. After all the dipping she went to freehand the white tip. My nails are so chunky, not square and uneven. She didn't even file them with a nail drill bit it was bare. My first red flag. Anyway long story short she wanted to charge me 110 dollars and I left with my nails removed because there was no saving how terrible they looked. I paid 60 bucks for a decent pedicure and a nail removal. This place has left me with such a terrible experience and it's unfortunate because it was my self care day and it wasn't at all the experience I set out for. I usually check yelp ratings before trying a new place but today I just took a risk and came here because it was conveniently located to where I was. Clair did my pedicure and I have to say I'm very happy with it. She also gave a grate massage to my legs and feet. First of all, Michelle is amazing, but she's currently on vacation. I recently went in for a dip manicure. Two days later, they chipped off!! I was so upset because the girls covering for Michelle charged me way more than Michelle, and it was crappy work. They accidentally overbooked clients. So they told a young lady they couldn't see her but they kept taking walking in clients. I had an appointment, and they made me wait an hour because they kept ignoring the people who had appointments. When they finally saw me, the lady laughed and said thanks for waiting."
