Carol is incredibly attentive and makes sure every detail is perfect. She really takes her time and the work just speaks for itself. I am always super excited about the end result. I can literally show her my inspiration and she always exceeds my expectations. Mia is just as wonderful--super gentle, patient, and clearly very skilled at what she does. Both of them made me feel comfortable and cared for throughout the entire appointment. I also have to mention Tiffany, her pedicures are absolutely amazing! She creates such a relaxing experience, and you can tell she really knows what she's doing. It all feels like a mini spa treatment, and my feet have never looked or felt better. I also really like the color options at this place. One reason I moved from my previous nail place is because I got bored with their nail polish collection. Although, LB nails studio is more expensive than my previous spot. So far I feel like the price difference is worth it because I'm always happy with the results. First off, each time I've been here, I had no wait and I was seen immediately. The first time I came, Ivy took amazing care of me. I have nail psoriasis and it's always been an insecurity of mine, and she was able to give me a gentle gel manicure that protected my natural nails, looked flawless, and gave me and my skin the comfort I needed. She was extremely kind, gentle and so patient with me. I came back two weeks later to come get a dry gel pedicure by Cindy. She was also so sweet. Greeted me with a smile and made sure my nails came out to my liking. I get really insecure about my natural nails because of my nail psoriasis and other nail shops turn me down, or make me feel bad for having a nail condition that I can't control. This place doesn't. Everyone that works here are soooo sweet, they really care about their customers!!! I've never felt more comfortable at a salon, it felt like home for me. Ana is probably one of the best but she is very biased and does not think highly of Black customers.. Despite years of getting services with generous tipping from my family I noticed she started cutting my services short or abandoning them altogether when white customers came into the shop. Also I noticed she would rush to give them post manicure hand & arm massages while telling me that service is not included. After witnessing this behavior on several occasions I finally brought it to the attention of Mylene. While she apologized profusely Ana never bothered to address the situation with me or apologize. In light of the recent social media uproar from arrogant and racist Asian service providers regarding Black customers I feel compelled to share my experience. It's really appalling behavior and attitudes and very hurtful. So despite overall decent treatment, Ana's behavior plus the fact they haven't gotten any new nail colors in years I feel compelled to share this honest review and the low rating.
