Let me start by saying, I HATE getting my nails done. Getting my nails done and a pedicure isn't relaxing for me. BUT, Mimi and Kevin here make it enjoyable This is still the only nail place I've been going to for the past (almost) 2 years. Mimi is extremely fast, yet the nails come out looking amazing. Again, it's nothing fancy, they have a whole wall of pedicure chairs which are comfortable and have all the massage features (the chairs are really nice), parking lot can be tight but it is private parking and they do have a little room for waxing If you get long nails like me, you definitely know what I'm talking about when I say finding someone who can give you the perfectly shaped acrylic nail is important. This is were Kevin shines. If you bring in a photo, Kevin and Mimi are amazing at recreating it. They have a huge selection of colors and they are up to date with ALL the trends. I've been getting the same nails for the past few months. I've been rotating between a tan, nude or pink color and pairing it with either a silver glitter cuff or a gold glitter cuff and I am obsessed with how they turn out!!

As a podiatrist, a specialist in feet, my daughter and I decided to have a papa daughter night. We chose this place on the reviews. It was Klien Friendly Mimi, and Traece couldn't do enough their expertise. They're handling their design all impeccable. It might not be in the best of neighborhoods, it might not be the fanciest shop, but if you need your hands and feet taken care of by far , I highly recommend this location.

Its my birthday weekend and decided to treat myself and my husband for a well deserved mani/pedi. Kevin was the one who got my nails fixed up. Mind you when I went in, i felt my nails needed some TLC. Kevin cleaned up my toe nail and fixed my ingrown toe nail. Let tell you, it feels so much better. The vibe was excellent. When you're in the area check them out!!!!

They have a huge variety of colors to pick from. They do Gel X nails and acrylic I highly recommend Mimi and Kevin. They are definitely the two best ones here. The one wall is nothing but pedicure chairs. The pedicure chairs are really comfortable and have massage features It's nothing super fancy, but you can't beat Mimi's and Kevin's skills I was driving an hour away just to get my nails done, but the ones here last way longer, cheaper and they do a better job. I've been coming here every single month and will not go to any other place

You have to visit. Great customer service. Definitely in the budget. Mimi creates all art hand drawn . A Nail Spa were every one does an excellent job. Hey get pedicure #4 you'll thank me later!

It's clear that she's in high demand for a reason! I love my nails, and I can't wait to keep coming back. Came here about a month ago and I was impressed with my experience, that it brought me back again. This place offers great prices, and as a student this is a major plus. I've tried different salons and have had issues with lifting after week 1, but not this salon. Their gel manicures last a very long (mine lasted 3 weeks, could've lasted longer but I wanted a new set). Never experienced any lifting whatsoever! They also do a great job at nail designs, which I'm very happy about. Additionally, my nails are natural so I appreciate the fact that they are very gentle when sanding/buffing my nails, as to not damage them. They're fast and provide high quality service. The workers are very kind as well! I definitely recommend coming to this place!

The service I requested were the gel nails and they were really nice! they did recommend i get acrylics because my nails were rather short but I opted not to get them and they were able to accommodate my short nails and did their best to replicate my desired nails. It was pretty chill and relaxing in the store. Definitely will be coming back!

I have been absolutely loving this nail boutique and they are well due for a positive review. Always professional, clean, and friendly- both pricing and services are always amazing. Yesterday I called in late after work and was still able to squeeze in for an appointment at the end of their day. Kevin was absolutely amazing, incredibly friendly, and made my day! She commands such high quality service from all her staff, you can't go eating! I got really lucky that she opened this location so close to my house! Hi everyone, if you want to take care of your nails avoid this place!!!! I will not be returning to this salon. I came in for a walk-in appointment for a gel pedicure and Gel-X manicure. While the pedicure was acceptable, my experience with the Gel-X service was very disappointing and unprofessional. The technician tried starting to glue the Gel-X extensions without any basic nail preparation--no cleaning, no cuticle care, nothing. I stopped her from even trying to stick one and When I asked if she was going to prep my nails first, she told me, "We don't usually do that." I explained that proper prep is a universal standard in nail care, as it creates a clean and healthy nail bed, improves adhesion, and helps prevent lifting or peeling. At that point, I told her to skip the Gel-X and just clean my nails because I wanted my cuticles taken care of. She said it would be $22. I asked to see the service menu, and it listed $22 for cleaning and a color choice--but I wasn't choosing any color, just a basic cleaning. She then spoke to the boss in front of me, but even after I explained the situation, they still insisted on charging the full $22. I ended up walking out without getting my nails done , only payed for my pedi, because I didn't feel comfortable or confident in their professionalism or cleanliness standards. As someone who has been a repeat client, I found the entire experience frustrating and disappointing. It's clear they don't value loyal customers or follow proper procedures. I would not recommend this salon and suggest avoiding it altogether Also, I found a very rude that they wasted my time and then was giving me attitude and didn't apologize for this type of service. At first, I was happy with my nails. They're just a simple acrylic set. Sadly, they started lifting after 7 days and they weren't cheap. I payed $45. I'm not even trying to be harsh, but please do better. I work hard for my money and I'd like to have a set of cute nails that last. read more

I had a wonderful experience getting a manicure from Mimi! This was my first time coming to her salon, after finding it on Yelp and reading all the good reviews. I'm glad to say that my experience lived up to my expectations! I came in on Saturday around 12, and it was a bit busy with a wait time of ~20 minutes before I was seated. After sitting in their waiting area for a bit, Mimi directed me to her station and I got a five-star service! The technicians were friendly and skilled, the stations were clean, the tools were sanitized, and there was even a mini clip fan to keep me cool amid the summer heat. I asked Mimi for a gel removal + a gel full set on my natural nails, with a sparkly double-French manicure design. She was able to deliver on this request in no time! I was super impressed. This cost $45, but she gave me $5 off since I had a bit of a wait up front. Excited to come back and be a regular here! read more

She answered any and all of my questions and provided me with a few donated containers for my purchase. So far, the star of this visit are the scented lotion and hand wash. Can't recall the name. But they are pricier than the other products. I don't care at all. I LOVE the scent. As a matter of fact, I'm going in this weekend for some more of the hand soap. I have it in my bathroom (foaming pump) and my kitchen (regular hand soap pump). I also diluted it to use as a shower gel. YES, doggone it!!! I'm kinda addicted! This is one of those places that you should actually do a personal field trip to. It will change your life. Believe it. Highly, highly recommended! UPDATE: I went back in for more hand soap concentrate and some retinol serum. By the way, soap and lotion brand name is "Further". Alyssa assisted me and she is an absolute DOLL. And I met her husband and best friend, who happened to be in the store. Simply delightful. I think this is going to be another one of my "happy" places.

I…read morehad enough disappointment at CVS and decided to transfer my Rx to this Walgreens on Carson St in Lakewood. None of the clerks I interacted with seemed to have much experience. I went in once to initiate the transfer, and a second time four hours later to check the transfer status, make sure they had my contact and insurance info correct, and learn the medicine was on order for the next day (because they didn't bother to update me). Sure enough though, despite having all the info in front of their face, the techs/pharmacist managed to botch the insurance and drug company copay assistance processing. So when I went in to pick up my Rx, they had to reprocess it. The bottom line is they are just as uncaring and incompetent as CVS was. Next refill I will be transferring to another pharmacy until I find a good one. I would recommend to anyone to stay away from this pharmacy for at least 6 months to a year from when this review is posted to give them time to hit rock bottom and re-staff this location with a better people. In the meantime, it's just not worth the frustration of being dependent on employees who are not interested in doing their job.

I approached the interaction with a friendly attitude and treated the pharmacy technician with respect from the start. As someone with a college degree and several years of customer service experience, I understand that not every day is easy and that customer-facing jobs can be challenging. However, there is never an excuse for treating customers with the level of disrespect that I experienced. From the beginning, I was met with an unnecessarily rude, dismissive, and unprofessional attitude. Instead of offering basic courtesy and assistance, the technician was confrontational, careless, and showed no concern for how she was speaking to a customer. What was most shocking was her complete lack of remorse. When I expressed my concern, she casually displayed her badge information as if she was completely unbothered by the possibility of a complaint. That level of indifference makes me question whether this is a recurring issue. If this is how customers are routinely treated, it reflects very poorly on Walgreens and its commitment to customer care. Customer service matters, especially in a healthcare setting where patients may already be dealing with stressful or sensitive situations. Based on this interaction, it is clear that this employee would benefit from additional customer service training and coaching on professional communication. No customer should be made to feel unwelcome or disrespected when seeking assistance with their prescriptions. As a result of this experience, I will be transferring my family's prescriptions elsewhere. I am extremely disappointed and sincerely hope management addresses this issue before more customers have a similar experience.

The best part? I get to refill the containers instead of throwing them away. How amazing is that? Christy and Catherine are so friendly, kind, and knowledgeable. Christy, the owner, is amazing and I could talk about sustainability with her for hours. I've been searching for a company like this and I can't wait to go back and stock up on even more products.

I came in for a pedicure, and while the staff were reasonably polite, I had a few concerns. During my service, the technician trimmed my toenails and left the clippings on my foot, which I found unusual and unsanitary. As I was sitting there, I also noticed another technician clipping acrylic nails and letting the pieces fall directly onto the floor. That's when I really looked around -- the floors were dirty, with nail clippings scattered everywhere. Although my pedicure itself was okay, I also noticed the staff being a bit rude to other customers. Overall, the experience left a bad impression, and I don't plan on returning. read more

Mimi has opened her second shop in the LBC & just like the first one, it is well worth your visit. The nail technicians are friendly, the place is clean, and the work is beautiful. It took me a long time to find a good shop & Mimi only hires the best. You can tell their work environment is fun & friendly because unlike most other nail shops, there isn't a high turnover of her employees. Just like her employees, the clients come & stay too.
