Whether it's detailed designs or airbrushed looks, she always does an amazing job. I receive many compliments whenever I get nail art done by her! Attached are some of my faves. I also have to shout out Tracy, who does my pedicures. She recognizes me, is welcoming, and always so helpful when it comes to my ingrowns, which can be painful, and I really appreciate. I was told that there is a $17 additional fee for any service if you decide on getting gel polish. You can buy a gel nail polish for that price or even less. I asked if I bring my own polish if they would charge the same and unfortunately they will still charge the same since it's a "service" of them putting on the polish. Bottom line, it's not their fault, majority of nail salons are inflating prices nowadays and it's of course due to the "service" or the "product" so yea just go along with it and no one will get hurt. Service: The girl that helped me was very nice and helpful, I was initially going to get a French tip pedi but she advised to just get the milky white I was thinking about since my nails were already pretty short. She did a beautiful job and I appreciate her honesty and not pushing me to get the French tip. I've worked with people who will push you to get something just bc they see dollar signs but she was truthful and genuinely looking out for my nails by even advising me to just let them grow. Okay the drink part, I saw on yelp they give complimentary drinks like iced coffee and matcha and was hoping I would be offered that but no one said anything so I figured maybe they only did that temporarily. I know you're probably like ok girl just get a drink somewhere else but no! I don't see too many places offering viet iced coffee while you're getting your nails done and that was a big part in my decision making process when deciding where to spend my money. I could've gone anywhere else, there was a salon down the street from me in LB but this place stood out to me. Anyway, I asked for a water bc I was parched but nothing else was offered to me. As I'm almost finished, I over hear another nail tech offer some ladies complimentary drinks and then I see a lady sitting across from me with a glass of champagne. I was confused bc I thought maybe you need to have a certain service to access that amenity. I asked the receptionist as I was checking out about that and she said "oh your nail tech is supposed to offer"...and then looks at me like I'm being annoying like..ok I'm just trying to get clarification. I didn't make an appointment, but it seems like appointments are preferred. When I walked in, the place wasn't crowded at all. There was only one other person being serviced, and another client came in while I was there, so it made for a calm and relaxed experience. Dao did my nails and she did a great job. She was attentive, gentle, and made sure everything looked neat and clean. The salon itself was very clean, which I always appreciate. It's not a super upscale nail salon, but honestly it's a solid, basic spot and that's all I really need sometimes. One thing to note is the parking lot is small, so there isn't a ton of parking available, but it was manageable when I went. It was a good experience and I would come back.

Nails chipped the same day I got them done. When I kindly asked them to be fixed she gave me the nastiest attitude and screamed at me.

I booked with her after seeing a few good mentions, and I get why people ask for her specifically now. She actually took her time shaping my nails instead of rushing through it, which I really appreciated. I haven't gotten my nails done in forever. About 3 weeks ago I decided to try out a new place. I wasn't floored with how my nails turned out. I went back to the drawing board. Two days ago, thanks to a Taco Tuesday craving, I saw a woman whose nails looked great. I asked where she gets them done. Beyond on Willow! So here I am and I'm so happy I came! Even after showing my receipt, I was asked to wait while she and her coworkers sat and ate. After waiting, she told me it would be another 10 minutes. I explained I had to get to work and that I had already paid full price and tipped $10 just two days prior--I simply needed the repair done. When she finally helped me, the fix felt rushed and careless. She layered on a thick amount of gel, tapped it briefly with a file, and said "OK" without any real care or attention. This was my third time visiting, and unfortunately it will be my last. The lack of professionalism and basic customer service is disappointing. I expected better treatment, especially as a returning customer.

If you can't do something, SAY THAT. I would have happily gone somewhere else. Instead, I wasted two hours because apparently "yes, we can do that" means "we'll give it a shot and see what happens."
