This place is OPEN on Sundays! So happy I stopped by because I finally found a trustworthy nail lady close to home. Hailey was so friendly and patient with me. She made sure to file my real nails and not trim them very short. She took her time to perfect my gel nails and I appreciate it so much! Also included is a nice hand and arm massage with lotion & warm towel! read more

Qt Nails - Nail Salons Near Me - Long Beach, California

This place has changed management. They will leave you waiting for 30 minutes in a chair with your feet done, just to work on someone else then will come back to finish your hands. Was not pleased, everyone looks stressed and unhappy. read more

First of all, if you are a person of color who wants to spend your money where you are not treated than less of a person because of your skin color, QT nails is NOT a business to spend your coins baby. There was a distinct difference between the observed customer service for white women who walked in versus women of color. Somebody please go tell these Asian women that they are also women of color. I don't think they know that at this nail shop. Had the nerve to talk about "no tip?" While I'm paying. Girl bye before I tip you with these colored hands!!!!! read more

Love my nails! Helen did an awesome job. .. I usually don't post anything but I had to take the time to post. Helen did a flawless, gorgeous oval shape full set for me. Thanks Helen, you rock! read more

I finally figured out why this place has bad reviews. I have been going here for a while with no issues, but come Monday morning I walked it with no apt as usual which I've come to trust them so no big deal. I was asked to sit at station #4 someone I have never seen before came out and she barely spoke to me at all. I asked her 3 different times to make my nails rounded and they were still square so I gave up. I had asked for a dark grey polish, she applied 3 coats of it so thinly that you can see through it, my nails are lumpy and there are MULTIPLE hairs sealed in the gel, there are 3 other nails that have bubbles. I wound up having to refile my nails when I got home so they were even and rounded like I asked for. So horribly disappointing. Is it so much to ask that you make sure your technicians are trained? I feel like I would've gotten better service and manicure at a cosmetology school. read more

QT Nails is pretty much like every other Vietnamese-run nail shop. I swear they are the only ones who do this. If another clan tried to get up into this biz, they will probably get their eyes scratched out by perfectly manicured nails. I got a spa pedicure which meant you get to sit on a massage chair attached to a foot sink. I don't mind paying the extra few bucks for that versus the pan of warm water service. The girl who did my nails was okay, though she did get lazy on the base coat (meh!). She lightly swoosh it over my nails instead of actually painting each one. If I wanted that kind of half-ass work, I do it myself. Other than that, the service was satisfactory. I might go back if I'm too lazy to go anywhere further. read more

I don't want to say that they were horrible, because I have only been there once and in reading the reviews some people liked the place. The people were nice, the person who did my pedicure did a good job, but I wanted a Gel French Tip manicure and she did a horrible job. Looking back on it I'm not really sure if she knew what she was doing, but at the time I myself wouldn't know any better because it is rare that I get my nails done. What I do know is that I had Gel done once before this about two months prior and my nails turned out NOTHING like I had expected. Under normal circumstances I wouldn't have cared that much but the problem was that I was getting married two days later and was too busy to go fix them before my wedding. I think the young woman who did my nails did not have much experience with the Gel because she put sooooo many coats of the Gel Polish on, and I don't think I sat under the light long enough for them to solidify fully. Oh well. I don't see myself going back, but the women are nice and it may have been just an unlucky break. read more

Went the first time to get a full with gel...beautiful set. But then the gel chipped two days later. Thought I'd give them another chance. Got the same thing, full with gel. It took her almost two hours to finish and the fill is uneven! You can see and feel the unevenness on my nail. And the gel is chipping...again. I got them done Saturday. Will not return. read more

Qt Nails - Update---one week later & the gel was chipped so much it caught on things and eventually tore off. - Nail Salons Near Me - Long Beach, California

Love this place been coming here for probably close to 6 years. The service is always great, and if anything is wrong they will fix it.

While the boys were playing golf, my girlfriend and i decided to treat ourselves to a relaxing spa pedicure. After debating which nail salon we should try through yelp, we finally chose this place. We called in advance to make sure we were able to sit together and have our feet done together. We were told to come in 10 minutes later. As we arrive, we walked in and no one greeted us. well.... ok? Finally someone came around and asked what we needed. Mentioned we call in and they appointed us to choose a color. Didn't seat us exactly together but whatever. Anyway, by the time we were done we wanted to break a $20 so that we can tip the ladies. They said we couldn't do that nor put a tip on the cc tab. uhhh ok.... so then we went to the store next to us and they wouldn't break the $20 unless we bought something. All in all, this place is not worth my $. read more

At this point in time they charge $41 for a manicure with gel coat and pedicure. This is about $6 more than all the other nail salons in the area which sucks BUT they do a really great job with the gel coat. Their work is not so amazing they should be charging more than ever'body else. Also a little rude sometimes... here is a transcript from a phone conversation I had with the shop: ::ring ring:: Nail Shop lady: QT Nails Me: HI, I need a manicure and gel coat manicure, what time do you close tonight? Nail Shop lady: OHHH we close at 7pm ::Current time is 615pm:: Me: OK, too late for me to come in tonight, what time do you open tomorrow? Nail Shop lady: 9am BUT DON'T COME IN AT 9!!! WE BUSY!!! Me: OK BYE (I'm not going back, that B yelled at me) read more

They use dirty/used tools. The files were clearly used and they were taken out of the sleeve.. the sleeve wasnt even sealed. After my nail tech was done with me, she wiped the tools "clean" with the towel and put them back in the sleeve. I'd recommend going elsewhere to prevent infection. read more

This is one of the few times Yelp has let me down. I stopped in for a quick manicure before a wedding I was in town for. First they have the worst selection of colors I've ever seen. There was no order or even consistent brand. I always use OPI or slum it with Essie but they had neither. I finally decided just to go with a clear coat. Which chipped the same day and took off the top layer of my nail along with it. The staff was friendly but everyone was coughing and it was really awkward, I was afraid that I might catch whatever they had. I wish I had done my nails before I left NYC. read more

Two and a half hours for a mediocre mani pedi where the two girls cut/hurt me , didn't leave my finger nails as long as I asked , left my toe nails all different lengths and didn't even scrub my feet. Don't waste your money here read more

I've been going to QT nails for over a decade. The store has been under new management for the last three years and and it is obvious they treat the workers terrible. A handful of the original technicians i get my nails done with (Lynn, Kay, Helen, Nancy) have left to work at other nearby nail salons. I've been going here since i was 17 and its unfortunate to see my favorite salon change for the worst. I knew the previous owner Cathy. She was so sweet and fair to the employees. I hope the new owners get their act together. Until then, ill take my business elsewhere. read more

This place isn't too big but the staff here is very friendly and accommodating. Went here for a Mani + Pedi and was quickly offered a seat in the pedi-spa chair. The chairs are not high quality, like would find in high-end spas, however it does offer back massage and recline and is fairly comfortable. They weren't too busy when I went in and was given both mani & pedi at the same time in the pedi-spa chair. Which was nice and able to save me lots of time. Overall, this place was quick and convenient plus their services were well done, and price wise, it was SUPER cheap. Mani + Pedi for $24. If I'm in the area and in need, I would definitely return and would recommend to others as a low cost shop with good value. read more

Horrible, cheap nail polish selection. Literally maybe 10-15 options of 99 cent store colors. I was asked to pay about 2 minutes into my pedicure. I asked why so early and they said because they were closing. They didn't close for 2 more hours. Then 5 minutes later asked to pay again. If I didn't already pay I would have walked out about 10 minutes in. Wet feet and all. read more

I got a really good spa pedicure here with my mother-in-law, the day after Xmas. This is the way to spend the day after Xmas, not in the crazy crowded shopping malls. Huni (sp?) was a complete doll and gave me the best leg and foot massage. My in-laws are regular customers especially my father-in-law who sees Huni every other week to keep his nails in shape. Spa pedicures are $16. Place is really clean. Keep them in mind if you need your nails did. read more

Worst place ever, 1st time there, but would not recommend it to anyone... Funny, KNOW-one there understands English unless it's something they want to do their way and I'm the customer?!?! They didn't clean the spa -tub I used prior of after ... Ugh:-/ read more

Very clean nice vietnamese place. I love Tammy she does great pedicures, she takes her time and gives long massages but if u want someone to blab with Tammy isn't it. She is very quiet that's why I like her I can relax. I think I am going to be brave and try and get a facial the next time I go with Kathy. I'll report back with and update on the facial. read more

Worst nail experience in 10 years! Traveling to an unfamiliar part of town and stopped in for a fill. After being seated, nail tech looks at my nails and says "I forgot I have an appointment with another client." I am then shuffled off to another girl while I watch original tech sit and talk to other idle employees for the remainder of the time I am in the salon. I'm fairly certain I'm the first acrylic client my nail girl has ever done. My nails are thick, of varying length and I got burned several times with the drill. I probably should have gotten up, paid for the service and let another salon finish them. Extremely disappointed doesn't even begin to cover it. read more

I stumbled upon this nail shop while trying to kill time before work. I'm so glad I did. Although I wasn't greeted immediately, it was still quick. The service I recieved as well as how clean this nail salon is sold me way beore my nails were complete. The technicians spoke majority english and they weren't yelling across the room at one another. Before I hardly ever went towards East Long Beach, QT Nails gave me a reason to branch out and frequent the area a little more. read more

Best nail salon in the area. I recommend this place to everyone! Love getting the spa pedicure & gel manicures. I can get a gel manicure to last 4 weeks when I come here! Also, fantastic waxing services. So clean, friendly atmosphere, great service! Also, had my whole wedding party's nails done here the day before the wedding - a group of 12 & they had us all done up perfect in no time! Won't go anywhere else! read more

This is my go-to nail salon. They are usually really good about not making me wait too long for a pedicure. I like the comfortable seats and the massage features! The ladies there are great at polishing and are friendly. I think the prices are pretty adequate for the services. The polish they have isn't any brand that I recognize, but it does last a while and looks quality once painted on the nail. *Edit* I don't go here anymore -- the cleanliness and sanitation isn't very good. Not worth the risk! read more

This place is amazing! They are so nice & my nails & toes always look beautiful. They have tons of polishes to choose from & they can do super cute designs. You can even bring in your own idea for a design & they'll do it. They are very reasonably priced & they don't bombarde you with extras & add ons for more money like most other nail shops. The tools they use are clean and so are the spa chairs. I've been coming to this place for years. I've tried other places but I'm never as happy as I am with QT. I love this place! read more

I come here often because it's close to my house. You come for a pedicure to relax and enjoy getting your feet taken care of. I'm a server and I work long shifts on my feet. This place NEVER has consistent service. Every lady I've been to here has rushed through my pedicures. And they also do the bare minimum and charge you the "spa pedicure" price. As I write this review I'm drying my toes at QT Nails. I didn't get the very good smelling blue stuff in my tub. The lady didn't use the cuticle cream on one foot. She cleaned my toe nails and whipped it on my foot!! ( instead of in the towel) The lady next to me received the same service as I did and I was done 5 mins before her and she got in her chair probably 5-7 mins before me!! It's just frustrating. So anyways I'm still on a search for a good nail place. Suggestions?? Pro: Good location Not too long of wait Cons: Rushed service Not a good selection of colors Inconsistent service for pricing read more

I'm a very picky when it come to my nail...Finally!! Found my new nail salon in Long Beach...All of ladies do a good job but my favorite one is TiffanyI my Chrome nail design read more

I've been going to this salon for around 15 years, but no more! The new owners treat the girls horrible. They all seem miserable. The owners even lie about their services to make sure the money is all in their hands. I asked about threading, because I had seen it done there. I was curious. The owner, who waxed my eyebrows, didn't want me to switch to threading because I wouldn't be coming to her anymore. So she told me they don't offer it. Bold faced lie since I had seen it happening in their shop on my previous appointment. Not a way to keep long time customers. I won't give them any more money and I'm letting all my friends that go there know! read more

Never had their services, but this is simply on their customer service and hours. Notated on their door are their hours.... OPEN UNTIL 7pm weekdays. It's 6:40pm on a TUESDAY, and they say we are closed. Lady says "We don't take anyone after 6:15." If that's the case, then change your closing time to 6:15!!!!! read more

Stopped in for a pedi with a friend because the traffic circle is a good halfway point to meet in between where we each live and was pleasantly surprised. As said in other reviews - the foot/calf massages were nice and long, and maybe the 4th star is just from my sore legs getting some TLC...but that massage was needed and welcomed! They do have a smaller selection of colors than some places I have been but I was able to find something to tickle my fancy (a nice slate grey) and the place was clean and comfy and for $16...I will definitely be back. My one complaint...and it's partially my fault...is that one of my big toes got cut a little funky. The nail was cracked (but not like hanging off or anything) and because I am a "let it ride" kinda girl I was just going to let it grow out...but after a miscommunication I walked out with a funkily cut big toe. (I thought she was asking if she should leave it...guess she was asking if she should clip it!) The polish was great, everything was neat and nice and smooth, and nobody notices the funky cut until I point it out...I just hope it doesn't take long to grow in normal! Will still come in again...good value, good work, and friendly. Thanks QT Nails! read more

Very poor communication here. Gel nails that literally fell off of my nails like stickers. Would go somewhere else.

After arriving in Long Beach, my mom, sister, and I stopped at In N Out. Looking around at the strip mall, I suggested we get pedicures. QT nails did a nice job with my pedicure-- long calf/foot massage. They did a good job with the polish but I do have to say that their selection of colors was not impressive, both with respect to the brands and the colors. While they service was friendly and prompt, I come to get color on my nails, and I would have to end up bringing my own if I was ever in town again. read more

Great place! I loved the way the lady did my nails. For once someone got the length and the shape right.

This review is only for eyebrow waxing, and this is my go-to place in Long Besch! I have pretty sensitive skin, so no matter where I go I ask them to let the wax cool a little so it doesn't agitate my skin, and this is one of the few places that actually listens! They're consistent and always do a great job! read more

I've been coming here for about ten years and just today thought about writing a review. Of course the fact that I've been coming here so long probably explains a lot. While a few new folks have joined the staff here most have been here since I started coming. Why do I keep coming back? Excellent care and fair prices. Also this shop is immaculate! read more

I love this place! Lina is amazing and makes my nails so beautiful!!! Idk what she does but they last 3-4 weeks without lifting...which is amazing for a hairstylist like myself. I've been coming here for years, and I love this place. It's my go to spot for getting my nails beautified. The girls are all nice and take good care of you! I've never had to wait to get my nails done, they always have enough staff members working. I love the way my nails look every time. My only complaint is I really wish there were more colors to choose from. I've been choosing the same colors, and am thinking about buying myself some nail polish to bring in with me read more
