We have been renting a unit here for the past…read moresix years and have finally reached the point where we can no longer tolerate the ongoing issues. First, our monthly rate increased from $99 to $300 without any prior notice. Over the years, the facility has continued to decline rather than improve. The security doors have been broken for years, elevators are frequently out of service, and there are rarely any dollies available to move items. Additionally, there appears to be a homeless individual living in one of the units, which raises serious safety and management concerns. The office is closed more often than it is open, and the staff that are present are typically unable to provide answers and have been consistently rude. It is also nearly impossible to reach a real person by phone, and emails go unanswered. After six years as a customer, this level of service and maintenance is extremely disappointing.

When I first rented the unit, my monthly rate was around $119. Over the course of just one year, I received rent increase notices every few months, and my rate has now climbed to $293 per month--more than double in a very short period of time. This level of increase feels excessive and unreasonable, with no clear justification. It strongly resembles price gouging. What makes this even more frustrating is that I am currently being charged more than the rates advertised online for similar units at this same location, which raises serious concerns about fair and transparent pricing. Despite these repeated increases, the condition of the facility has not improved. Multiple access doors have frequently been broken, and the elevator has been out of service for months. Basic maintenance issues remain unresolved, even as rent continues to rise. I have attempted to contact management using the email address referenced in the owners' responses to reviews, but that email does not appear to exist. I have also reached out to other listed contacts and have received no response. Judging by the number of similar reviews describing the same issues, this appears to be a common business practice. I would not recommend this facility. Between the excessive rent increases, poor maintenance, and lack of communication, this has been a very frustrating experience.

    2024 Poor SERVICE, quality and value…read more So, It's now all automated and I could never get someone on the phone, nor was there anyone there when I hired movers to get my things out. I left messages for days and it took them over a week to return my calls. Ok so I became ill with Lyme disease so not only were my things in there for quite a while, I kept getting constant increases. And was being charged an exorbitant amount of 500+++per month, PLUS most of my things I discovered were now moldy!!! It's heartbreaking that my beautiful French chairs that go to my dining room table now have mold all over. I can't bring them into this house AND it turns out the insurance I was paying to orange PS insurance co will pay only 250 unless I prove there was a leak??? Why do I have to prove their leaking building???????. My things went in there without mold, and now they have mold. This is CLIMATE CONTROLLED? I am extremely unhappy with my experience with them... more like a nightmare

    I had three units with this location. Unfortunately, the site has a persistent leak in the roof…read more Water leaked into my unit on several occasions and caused damage to my furniture. Sadly, the lease waives any right to recovery and to add insult to injury, they would not refund all months rent where the roof leaked on my belongings(3). Public storage regional manager(Sara) told me I was lucky to get one month and when I said that wasn't enough didn't credit any months. I also plan to file a formal consumer protection complaint with the state consumer affairs and the BBB. Bottom Line: Great on-site staff, poor corporate management. BEWARE! Without the offered storage rental insurance you can walk away with a loss or with forced arbitration that's costly and time consuming.
