Warning Mold.!! They damaged all my expensive new furniture. It was covered in mold. I couldn't save anything. The same thing happened to my sister. That place isn't suitable for storing furniture, and to top it all off, they keep charging me instead of giving me my money back. read more

CAUTION, this place will charge you when you have autopay turned off, and they will raise your rent when ever they feel like with a flimsy one line explanation. To get to it, if you are coming from the north (belvoir/lorton) you have to make a pretty dangerous move across two lanes of traffic coming the other direction, with no turn lane. The worker at the front desk was very polite and friendly. A 26' box truck was able to make it around the area as long as no one else was there. If you have a car carrier like I did, it won't make it through. read more

Terrible I drove all way from Leesburg and upon entering the gate I paid my fine so I was allowed entry then they padlocked my lock with their own. It's all about business that why they only have one worker and she is the manager. Of all the times I communicate with them only manager is on site. read more

The storage space was smelly, musty and dark. The facility has mold on the outside, dead leaves and peeling paint. The worst part was the door. There was NO handle or knob and it had to be opened by bending down and putting your hand underneath and pulling. Totally unaceptable since some people are mobility impaired. When I was booking my space one employee was nice and really helpful. After booking with her, the rest don't do their job at all. She helped me a lot, but the rest don't answer phones, call back, or are any help at all! I was literally in my car on the property and could see the guy at the desk. First, they didn't honor their "$1 for first month". They charged me for the first month up front on top of additional fees when I first started with them. That should have been the first red flag. I was given the "manager runaround" (given multiple numbers to get someone on the phone) and after being forwarded to the General Manager, they credited the refund to the next month instead of giving me an actual refund (another red flag). I have done business with Public Storage before when I lived in Hawaii and thought a familiar place was what I should look for when storing my stuff. When I moved out the last time, they prorated my month's costs and refunded me the days I didn't use. Now I was told "policies have changed" and because my payment processed I am unable to get my refund, I received email notification *hours* after I called to get a refund that the payment finally processed. I will NEVER do business with Public Storage again, I WILL be calling them again because it's been THREE days since I "paid", and I will tell EVERYONE I know to never do business with this backhanded company because I sure will never. read more

I've been stuck inside this place for 3 hours with management doing their best to cry no responsibility. The electric gate has no manual bypass which must be a safety violation. I'm not alive... There's about 15 of us. People will pay extra for rental vehicles. We pay for access and it is not available. Compensation is deserved for this! read more

If i could give negative 0 stars i would ive been with public storage for five years at three different locations i transffered to this location from another location almost two years ago never missed a payment ever. And all of my accounts and devices my family accounts and devices were maliciously hacked into and i was also a victim of sim swapping back in november 2021 but i made sure my account would be paid. ive never had this issue before but my auto pay didnt go through in the Month of january and they sold my stuff the next month on February 25th 2022. They said they gave me two phone calls and emails but they were supposed to send me a letter for the lien by law and i have it on recording with customer service and the manager i will be taking this to court i had over 5k worth of stuff and personal documents of tax record dated back 10 years of worth certificates my engagement real diamond ring and etc and everything was sold for 125.00 and i still paid 200 something in fees that i just paid today im call legal consultation now because ive never had a issue like this before and now im devastated at the lack of effort this location has tenant beware read more

Awesome place! Awesome owners, Lal assisted me when I stopped by randomly early Friday morning as I was taking my two cats to the vet. One had clawed/chewed through his carrier so I pulled over as a last resort to get a box and put him in. With cat in arms I went into the office. Mohammad was passing through the office, and then stopped, helping me put breathing holes in the box and tape it up. They both were extremely pleasant and helped me when I was in a dire situation. Both walked me out to my car and helped get the box situated and buckled in. This is the kind of customer service you want at any business. read more

THEY WILL RAISE THE RENT AFTER 5-6 MONTHS!!! BE WARNED! Just found out our rent is going up more than 20% after only 5 months. You can only sign a month-to-month contract, so the rate you get on Day 1 is a way to draw you in and gouge you later. Would rather sign a longer-term deal elsewhere. read more

He was patient to answer all of my questions and showed me multiple storage spaces that would work around my price range. I saw another location that although had a much better exterior look in the hallways and appeared safer the manager assured me that I wouldn't have any problems. I agree with the other reviews posted that the management here is accommodating and very pleasant. I also agree with the comment that the rent increases after a couple years of storage. My rent increased about $70 in less than a year. However, you may expect this at other locations. Most importantly, I urge those considering this location to be advised that the rear row of units experiences water seepage and will ruin anything you place near the rear concrete wall. The concrete stays moist and destroys wood furniture, clothing, leather, etc. At least two tenants I spoke to experienced water damage problems. Unfortunately for management there, it's the result of a cracked concrete wall with no moisture barrier (and a landfill on the other side). The location gets two stars for helpful and pleasant management but unfortunately, these places are all about storing your possessions safely and that's difficult to do here. I recommend thoroughly inspecting your unit for moisture on the back concrete and don't keep anything valuable within 10ft of the wall if you decide to rent here. Otherwise, look elsewhere. Also, drywall between units is continually falling down and staff has to climb inside and repair. I had 3 large 4ftx4ft pieces fall down and break in my unit leaving large holes into the adjacent unit. read more
