The process was much more easier and stress-free than UHaul. I am happy to say that I trust Penske…read morenow with my future moves. The positives: -Unlimited Mileage and you just pay for one small fee (unless you don't want any additional add-ons. -The truck had a full tank of gas and I returned it with a full tank as a courtesy for the next person. -They had the option to keep the truck for three days and not just two which Uhaul had a big issue with. It's just not possible to return the truck within two days if I am moving from city to city since the city I moved to was 3 hours away from Austin. On the other hand, Penske provided the option to return the truck in the new city and not Austin. However, Uhaul had a problem with this and wanted me to return the truck in Austin by the second day. That sounds very stressful!! -The truck was very clean and spacious. I ended up getting the 12'Truck which allowed me to move out of a 698 sqft apartment. Negative: -There was only one worker at this location and he appeared to be burned out with his work. He was tired and did not speak much. He was a shell of a human. I say that Home Depot needs to make sure that there are more than one worker in the area so that he has someone else helping him out. However, when I returned it to the location in the newer city, the workers were much more lively and provided conversation. However, the truck was ready and he even drove the truck closer to the store so that it would be easy to access. I highly recommend Penske with your moving needs!

Rats and DROPPINGS in my inside unit, went from a $92/mo 7x10 to them almost doubling that in a…read morespan of less than a year. They changed the lock on the door to get to my unit inside at one point and no one notified me, customer service line couldn't help, manager didn't answer so couldn't access my stuff until I finally saw someone at the office for like an hour. To top it all off they have crazy lately fees for like $80 and try to auction your stuff if youre less than 30 days late. Moving out in a week don't go here!!!

Overall, there's not tons of difference between storage facilities. Some like this one look more…read morerun down or shady, but that's pretty standard. The issue is that 3 months in, they tripled my price. I called the manager and left 2 voicemails without a return call. Nobody answers the phone and the office has boarded up windows. Not sure which staff member people are talking about as I see nobody there the times I have been there. Granted I have only visited 4 or 5 times. I will be moving out.
