My experience with Public Storage in Austin has been unbelievably frustrating…read more I rented a unit approximately 24 hours before my scheduled move-in. The manager called me personally, confirmed the rental, provided my access codes, and gave me my unit number. Everything appeared to be ready. When I arrived with my movers, I discovered I could not access my unit because the elevator access had been programmed for the wrong floor. This should have been a simple issue to correct. Unfortunately, there was no one on-site to help. I called the Public Storage customer service number repeatedly--at least 5 to 7 times--and left multiple urgent requests for a callback. Despite explaining that I had movers on-site and was unable to access the unit I had rented, no one responded. More than 24 hours later, I still had not heard from anyone. As a result, I was unable to move into the unit I had already paid for, while my movers stood idle at approximately $200 per hour. What should have been a routine move-in became an expensive and completely avoidable disaster. The most disappointing part wasn't the original mistake. Mistakes happen. It was the complete lack of support afterward. If someone had simply answered the phone or returned a call, the situation likely could have been resolved quickly. My takeaway is this: Public Storage was extremely responsive when I was renting the unit. Once they had my money and a problem arose, I was effectively on my own. I would strongly caution anyone considering this location to understand that there may be no on-site staff available when you need immediate assistance. If something goes wrong on move-in day, you may find yourself unable to access your unit and unable to reach anyone who can help. That's not a risk I would take again.

Always had a smile with their answers and very easy to have them to do what I asked. Such a group of great guys. I had my furniture delivered to storage first and Claevon placed my boxes and furniture like it was a Tetris puzzle and quite the perfectionist at placing them. If you saw my storage unit, you would think it looked like the perfect puzzle. Love these guys and their work ethic and creativity! I want them for my move after storage!! Gotta have them. I found out that my cancer came back…read more I used Panther services not by choice but through Safebound Moving & Storage, which I thoroughly searched for on my first move and used. Trusting Safebound because my first move went smoothly. Finding out only after using Panther Moving & Storage, that Safebound doesn't move people anymore, they just contract out the services. Safebound deceived me into using Panther because they told me they contracted with them but it was still Safebound. All lies! Safebound never helped me. Panther Movers have Zero regard for the life possessions of others. If they see something they like, they steal it. They treat your property disrespectfully. A disgraceful act of vandalism and disparity! Most of my boxes were crushed. I filled each box to the point nothing would move and yet they were still able to destroy many items in these boxes just by their handling of them. Each Home Depot box I filled was numbered, named the room, and my last name. How they misplaced 10 boxes is beyond me. - They stole my 5-tier shoe rack. - Broke my Bugs Bunny collector clock, which I've had for over 30 years And was double wrapped. - Broke my solid wood stand up easel. These are about $250 - They never returned one garment box, which contained all my dress clothes. I have zero dress clothes now. - I'm still missing about 7 boxes of items. These items would be paintings, canvases, art supplies and more. I called them constantly the first two years. Spoke each time to a different woman who promised to get back to me and never did. I constantly left messages that weren't answered. They told me submit a claim, I used the company they gave me, that company said they don't handle panther. I submitted a complaint to BBB, still got nothing. So now when I pass away from cancer I'll wear shorts! Thanks... Hope you sleazy movers had a good time stealing half my life! Absolutely disgraceful!

Dustin contacted us promptly after we requested a bid to remove two recliners from our home…read more He advised that he had room in a trailer that he was going to be taking to the dump for the two recliners and gave me a quote to pick them up and haul them off to the dump with the rest of the items he was taking. I felt it was a fair quote. It was in between the highest and the lowest quote. We agreed to pay $150 for coming and taking them out of our home and to the dump. Dustin arrived exactly on time. (0930) unfortunately he had to park in the street because our ancient Durango would not start so I couldn't move it or he could've pulled up a little closer into the driveway. Just so you're aware, he did not mention this. I just was thinking that when I realized I couldn't move the Durango that morning. At any rate, he came to the door and knocked. After introducing himself, I let him in to take a look at the recliners which I had moved up into the front of our home. He immediately took out the first one and got it, settled within his trailer and came back for the second one. He was very professional and extremely nice. Lonewolf moving accepts several forms of payment and I chose to pay him via Venmo. That took all of two minutes and he was on his way. I definitely recommend Dustin and the company, and I am already planning to move a sofa out of our home with his assistance in the near future. I
