My boyfriend and I just moved to Round Rock from out of state and were in need of a storage unit…read more We needed one that was outdoors and on ground level for easy drop-off and pick-up access and luckily this was the first place we called to inquire. The gentleman that assisted us were very welcoming and friendly and they had a great promotion for a 5x10 storage for $49 a month so we took it! Also, we had our u-haul trailer that needed to get dropped off at another location, but we were able to drop it off at Storage Max which saved us time and made it so much easier! I highly recommend to come here, great service and great staff :)

They will raise your price after your initial pre-payment!…read more Staff is usually fantastic, only had one issue with a staff member who wouldn't hit the button to let us in when we couldn't get the entry code to work right. However my main complaint is the overall policies for Extra Space storage. It used to be you could pre-pay for a full year and lock in the rate, now they've shortened it to 4 months. I highly recommend going with a local storage rental location rather than this nationwide company.

These guys are incredibly helpful for any step of the way. The online tech is dated, but, if you can get past that (and you really should), then this should be your only storage facility to use in the area. I literally drive across the City when I need storage, because they give me such great piece of mind. It is worth noting, this place is incredibly well lit. That matters at night and you really see it when you compare to their competitors.
