I moved into their smallest climate controlled Unit a couple or more years ago and have upgraded to a larger Unit during the past year. Andrea is very knowledgeable and worked closely with me to help me accurately determine the amount of additional space I needed and gave me a tour of the available Units. Though they are a bit of a distance from my residence and I pass numerous facilities to get to Mini U - moving to another storage facility is not a consideration. From the day I first walked into the Office until the next day I go by, nothing will have changed. I feel immediately welcomed, seen and valued. Andrea has an easy manner that blends professionalism with sincere warmth and by my second visit, she knew me and the Unit to which I was connected. The property is immaculate, both inside the climate controlled areas and the external property. Lighting is always on point and there is comfort in feeling secure while on the Property. I always see Scott (equally professional and friendly) browsing the Property and maintaining any area needing his attention. At my urging, my son leased one of the larger Units and as his life consolidated, they offered him an easy transition to a smaller space. The price was definitely in the budget for my elderly mother. The service was SURPURB!!! The office manager was extremely helpful, polite, well knowledgeable about the storage unit. She explained the contract in detail and optimized each portion of the money we were spending. She took the time to personally bring us to the unit we were renting, demonstrated how to lock and unlock the door and not to mention how she located a unit that would be easy for my mother to obtain. She allowed my mother and I to practice using the gate code until it became second nature to us. She was extremely friendly and she smiled throughout the duration of our visit. She was extremely professional however it felt like we had known each other for years. While maintaining professionalism, we briefly mentioned the upcoming holidays and our plans. I would HIGHLY RECOMMEND this storage location to everyone. And one last comment, each time we went to place something in our unit, the office manager was there to greet us and was attending to the property making sure it's free of debris and trash. Andrea and Scott at Mini U Storage in Austin, TX cannot be more highly commended. I was tasked with cleaning out 11 storage units from a deceased relative and to further complicate matters, I live in FL and the units are in TX. Andrea worked closely with me on estate payments issues, referrals for movers, and my dates and time of arrival. They were expecting me when I arrived and Scott took charge of sorting out all my random keys, took us to the each unit, and got everything unlocked. They both continually checked on us, offering carts and water. They graciously extended their hours and access as we only had two days to complete the clean out. Finally, they worked closely with the movers to close out each unit account and email me confirmation as the movers emptied them. So many variables were in play to make this huge job happen and it was thanks to the professionalism and kindness of Andrea and Scott that we were able to successfully complete this so efficiently. Mini U Storage matched the other facilities price and gave me the size unit I needed so I didn't have to get a trailer and load and unload all my things, all I had to do was go down the hall to the other unit I was down sizing to.
