This business refuses to allow you to bank draft your monthly payments, they will only take full payments or auto drafts on their end. They could be better at providing better payment options for customers. They were sent bank checks from my bank, and they refused to cash them. Instead... they held my bank's checks and charged me "late fees" instead. Saying that they did receive the full amount PRIOR to the due date, but since their policy is to not accept bank drafts they held the checks. They know what they're doing, they know they make more money charging late fees to customers. This business should be sued for this, but its not worth the energy and time. If anyone out there is doing a class action against them for stuff like this please contact me. read more

We have rented 2 different storage units from Lakeline Storage scanning a 5 year period, beginning May 2018 - August 2023. All went well in the beginning, in the first few years, but the past couple years things have changed drastically and I can't - not do a review because the situation was so awful! On Saturday, 8/5/23 we moved out of the unit we had rented, we were unable to let the management know we were moving out because no one was in the office that day, late morning into the afternoon. On Monday, 8/7/23 I called to let them know we were all moved out and that we need to close the account out and to make sure I didn't need to do anything further. I tried several times throughout the week to contact someone by phone, but no one ever answered the phone. During that time I pulled up the website and I noticed the prices of the same size unit and type we had was listed at half the price we were paying for our unit we just moved out of. The price on that unit went up in price several times over the 4 years we had that unit, and I thought well that is not right, that is not good! After leaving several messages and being transferred to a call center on Monday morning, 8/14 at 10:15am, still no one was answering the phone on site at the Lakeline location. I also sent an email to the customer care email listed on the website. I explained to the call center in Arizona my situation and I need confirmation from someone from that location. I got a call back and this is where things went really BAD! The employee named Joshuwa Little was extremely rude and had an attitude from the first word he said. I assume he had learned I was frustrated that I couldn't get anyone to answer the phone. I told him I wanted to confirm that the move out is complete and to make sure that I didn't need to do anything else. I also told him I had been on the website and that I noticed the prices were significantly lower that the price I had been paying, I wanted to let them know I felt cheated and scammed, and that wasn't good that I was being charged a much higher price. I wanted to let the management and owner know (I would most certainly want to know if I were in their shoes) how a longtime customer felt when seeing the drastic price difference. He actually said to me, "your feeling don't matter at all" it's in your contract, and when I said I was going to make my review based on this experience, I told him he was rude and needed to be more kind, that kindness goes a long way. He also sent me 4 different emails, even after our phone conversation on Monday, and there was nothing else that was needed. The emails were very hateful, rude and totally unnecessary, no purpose at all other that to continue to lash out at me! I guess I really triggered him, he said in an email that he doesn't see me making bad reviews because of high grocery, gas or electric prices, I am thinking what the heck is wrong with him??? If HEB or QT or PEC were to charge me more for groceries, gas or electricity than newer customers, I would complain also. REALLY? I am just shocked at how rude and angry he was. My negative review wouldn't have been about the price at all, it would have been about not being able to contact anyone on the phone, but I probably wouldn't have even done a review, for just that alone. It just really rubbed me the wrong way, and I felt like I had been done wrong along with not being able to reach anyone. Management has not contacted me, not that I need them to, or that I want them to at this point, but who treats customers like this? He said to me: "the customer is NOT always right" which is true, but I never said that the customer was always right, so again, what the heck! My advise is: if you rent from them and they raise your price, check the prices on the website, and if lower, call them right away, hopefully they hire someone to answer the phone by then, and tell them you want the same price as on the website! read more

I highly recommend this facility if you need to rent a storage space whether short or long term for an excellent rate. I absolutely loved the customer service I received; the staff was extremely friendly and helpful, and I was even offered free use of their moving truck to get my belongings there!!! They went above and beyond by providing me detailed information about the place and all the available units with their sizes, rates, and location within the facility, so I could make the best choice for my needs. I can never reach anyone at the location via phone call. Every time I come. The office says OPEN but door is locked and nobody answers when I knock on door. DO NOT RENT HERE!! You won't be able to reach anyone! read more

These guys are great! I came with my company to a dog event they held. What a cute place! The facility is very clean and secure, the prices are reasonable, and the employees were all very friendly and knowledgeable! I was super impressed and will definitely recommend them to my friends! Ok at first, but during COVID they have taken advantage of customers. Their late fees are ridiculous. You can't always get ahold of someone. They ask that right now you try and do as much as you can online, but if you need to speak to someone it's a chore trying to get to the right person. The actual manager that apparently makes all the decisions will NOT speak with you. He lets his employees do all the dirty work. Some of us have gone through some tough times and this storage facility is trying to benefit from the misfortunes of others. They charge you 3 different late fees totaling $50, by the 20th. Then, if it isn't paid by the 30th, on the 31st they add $110 fee. The most irritating part is, it has to be paid with an actual employee before the end of the day. You can not take care of it online. They have an answering service, but they can't take the payment either. read more

Just signed up with Lakeline Storage, the manager was great to work with and was very knowledgeable about the process. The manager inquired about my needs and offered great ideas on how to store my goods and what size unit, I would be needing. The manager provided many options on storage units and locations in the facility. I found one that was a good fit and signed my lease. The facility will loan you a truck to move your goods which was a great help in moving my items to the storage facility and saved me from having to rent or borrow a truck. You have full access to the storage unit with your own personal code, the facility is well lit and very clean. The manager was extremely flexible to work with and I would highly recommend the Lakeline Storage facility to anyone that needs a storage unit in the area. read more

I was looking for storage in the North Austin/ Cedar Park area and I am very glad to have found this place. The prices are amazing- better then anywhere else, and it is temperature controlled. There are all different sizes of storage for your needs, and they are all very safe and accessible. Each person has a unique pin to use the elevators and enter, there is surveillance 24 hours with cameras. The managers live on site, and above everything else they are very friendly. It is very nice to have a community, positive feeling, when it comes to storage. Life is very hectic and busy, to have even the smaller aspects give such a positive energy is very beneficial. They also have a moving truck to use, and large, wheeled carts to help with loading and unloading. It does not get any better. This place is very nice for storage, especially in weather extremes of summer and winter. The managers are extremely friendly. They treat you as if you are the only person. Very kind even though they are very busy. I definitely recommend this for storage. read more
