Granted this was AFTER their estimator came a week before. But no worries. Everyone showed up. All the guys wrapped, and moved our 2k sqft home into our new 4k sqft home. Lots of guys, lots of boxes. We even had a drink with the remaining crew after because they were so cool and good. 4-ish scratched or damaged pieces. 4 scratched chairs that were suposed to be wrapped but were not (photo proof). and 1 cracked cabinet. The mover guy said "I am sooo sorry I broke that". He was genuinely sorry. Here's where the problems start. We paid for the extra damage insurance/waver thing. Extra money per pound. They said they could not do ANYTHING about the scratched items... ok. WTF. But what about the cracked cabinet? They wanted to either fix it for 5 WEEKS (LOL) or give us $250. It's a 300lb piece of furniture. I am not letting you carry it back downstairs and keep it for 5 weeks for the "possibility of repair" then carry it back up. The damage to the house alone wouldn't be worth that. This goes against the contract they had signed. It's been 2 months of communication with Killian. 2 months since the move. Caution all looking to move with College hunks. Hit or miss. Mover guys = great. management and claims department = horrible.

I reminded him that he was the one that emailed me the confirmation, and then he lies and says they had a computer virus. Funny, I didn't know computer viruses affected Gmail (seriously?) I would have appreciated honesty and just admitting there was a scheduling error on their part. But don't lie to my face. This isn't 1995 and we all know computer viruses don't magically delete emails. Luckily I was able to find the email and forward it to him, and then find new movers within a few hours. We all know how stressful moving can be, so this was not cool at all.

Terrible experience for multiple reasons…read more - There is only 1 elevator to access floors 2 and 3. - If the elevator breaks (which it did while I was storing my things there for only 4 months) and you happen to have a unit on the 2nd or 3rd floor...then you're out of luck. And the customer service was TERRIBLE, in that they did not empathize with the issue, were not able to give a timeframe on when it would be fixed, and also did not provide a notification to tenants (even though I requested one personally) once the elevator was fixed. This gave a good 3-4 week window of NO ACCESS to my unit. One day out of necessity I made 3 trips to the 3rd floor by way of STAIRS to access my belongings...unbelievable. - There is rarely someone in the office during office hours. Multiple times I went by (during open hours) to ask questions or needing help with something...and nobody is there. And the door to the office is ALWAYS locked (whether someone is in there or not...if they are you have to wait outside knocking until someone hears you from their back office and decides to come out) ...and they also don't answer the phone. So don't expect help from anyone. - There is only ONE CART. ONE. To move all of your things in and out as well as everyone else's things. And like other reviews said, tough luck if you're there at the same time as someone else. You'll have to share somehow. This is a 3 story - two building storage unit...how does that add up? - Last, if you have an issue with your payment and it doesn't go through for any reason - don't expect them to return, refund or remove any fees (which they will add quickly and lavishly), even if you've never been late and it was a special circumstance. Bill will just tell you there's nothing he can do...or say he'll "get back to you" and then not follow up and instead cut your lock off and put their own on (requiring you to buy another one) in prep for AUCTION. This is after ONE payment issue for ONE month. Not helpful at all, I will never rent a space from this storage unit again.
