When I moved to my first apartment back in 2021, I used ATX Movers (can't exactly remember how I found out about them) and had such a great experience that without any further thought I used them again for my latest move in August 2024. This time around I worked with Elijah and Erik and had an even better experience! I couldn't be happier with the service provided! I got a response back for an estimate probably a day or two after I put in the initial inquiry and everything was set up. I got a reminder text the day before and was able to confirm everything. The pricing is very reasonable and laid out very clearly in the beginning. When Elijah and Erik arrived they were incredibly friendly and were ready to get started. I had the morning window and we began about 9:30 AM and they were done by roughly 11:30 AM. I lived on the 3rd floor of my apartment complex (which doesn't sound like a ton of stairs but it definitely is) and then moved to an apartment on the 2nd floor. They were incredibly professional and I really can't describe how efficient they were! I was a little nervous about the move because I felt bad that I was on the 3rd floor but Elijah and Erik never made me feel bad and carried on friendly conversations with me and my dad. They were happy to put everything in the rooms that I asked them to and for the heavier items they worked with me to put them in the position I wanted. Everything was in tact and in the same exact condition as when it left my previous apartment (I've had other moving services - NOT THIS ONE - who have broken many of my belongings during a move). In the Pflugerville/Round Rock area, there were many movers to choose from and I'm glad I chose ATX Movers. Immediately after requesting a quote on their website, I received a call from Casey. They were very flexible which my schedule and was able to get my move scheduled within the same week; I got the quote on a Tuesday and scheduled the move at 9AM that following Saturday. Lucky for me, they also store their moving trucks at the storage location where my household items were stored. They are great at communicating with you pre-move and day of; by text messages and phone calls. The day of the move, Elijah and Pops met me at my store space and started packing. As they filled the truck with my household items I observed that they were very careful with my items and wrapped blankets around them as they played Tetris to make the most use of their truck. I only used them to move the heavy and bulky items that I would not be able to do myself. After packing up their truck from three different storage spaces. We went ahead to my house to unload. During the unload process, they put my items per the boss lady's requests (my wife). They offered to rearrange the existing items to her specs. To conclude, I'd like to focus on Elijah and Pops. Those two guys had super human strength and nothing was too heavy for them. Their speed of moving was like watching Netflix at 4x the speed. As they loaded/unloaded, when their hands were empty, they JOGGED/RAN back to fetch the next item to carry. They impressed me beyond belief. read more

We had Justin and Eric come to move us from ATX Movers. Let me start by saying we have lived at our old house for more than twenty years and have accumulated a lot of stuff. We decided to call around to get movers for the heavier stuff and the piano. Yes, an older upright piano that has not been moved in more than twenty years. I chose ATX because of all the great reviews. The guys came, looked at everything we wanted moved, and got to work right away. The wrapped, and moved everything carefully, even my China cabinet with glass shelves and the huge stubborn piano. After everything we had decided they would be moving, the guys were pointing out things they could take to fill the trailer, as there was plenty of room. Just like they loaded, they unloaded very carefully, and were very gentle with the cabinet and piano, even when the piano wanted to be stubborn and not cooperate. They put everything where we asked without question or hesitation, and didn't complain about the dust bunnies running around. The guys were very professional, courteous, and conscientious, of all our stuff. They treated it like it was their stuff they were moving. I can't say enough about these young men, and they did it all in the steamy heat as it had rained the day before. If we ever move again, or if you are planning a move, these guys are definitely the ones to call. They were on time and did an outstanding job. Would definitely use them again. read more

ATX Movers has moved me TWICE in the last 6 months and both times I was impressed with their professionalism, manners, efficiency and overall attitude especially when it came to dealing with disagreements between myself and my mother due to the stress of having to move yet again. They made the normally worst part of moving a breeze and there was LITERALLY nothing they said "we can't do that" to...even offered a Buccee's pudding cup to me when I spotted it on the counter from their pit stop. :) Before we knew it, we were loaded and unloaded - everything was placed where directed and NOTHING was damaged even the slightest. The guys provided easy solutions to anything we struggled with as we still finished last minute packing. As promised, they were on time, simultaneously quick and careful, considerate of our belongings as if they were their own and managed to make us laugh a few times despite high tensions. There was not one resource/tool they did not have access to on their trailer to easily maneuver, load, protect, secure and unload all of our possessions no matter the size or fragility. I will NOT move again without this company! They are THE BEST but that's to be expected when they have been US military trained and have served our country. Care with Possessions: Framed art was wrapped with care and placed in protected box After a thorough post inspection: no damage whatsoever to any item (fragile, glass items included) or our residence (this included moving oddly shaped furniture, including a Tempur-Pedic adjustable base (Awkward and heavy) through narrow, cornered hallways with ease) - we were very impressed! Detail Oriented: Eric and Justin asked any clarifying questions needed and moved quickly. At one point, they were both at a jog pace on a August afternoon. After verbally confirming destination, they left and arrived quickly with our items. Bonus: Our movers also assisted with clunky equipment hauled in the back of the truck! Overall - 5 star experience with booking and the entire experience - no deposit required - just a confirmation prior to move day. Will undoubtedly use them if needed in the future! Buying the Austin market is stressful enough. So, I was very glad to not worry about the actual move! Very well done! and a huge "Thank you!" to Eric and Justin. I've never felt more obligated and proud to provide such a good review for a small business! I can't imagine a business more difficult to manage. Moving is hard work that takes so much physical strength and experience to do correctly. ATX Movers showed up on time and worked very efficiently moving my furniture and belongings from a Condo to Home both within the Lakeway area. The Condo had living room, kitchen, and primary bedroom located upstairs requiring movers to carry items down a split staircase. As with any business requiring manual labor, the probability of accidents is high. Business is easy when everything goes perfectly; however, when accidents happen, a business has the opportunity to hide their heads in the sand, or to separate themselves from their competitors and show their true integrity. Unfortunately, the movers scratched a small section of wood flooring on my Condo's first floor while moving items out. ATX Movers owner, Mickey, quickly accessed the situation and did not hesitate replacing all the wood flooring on the first floor to resolve the problem. I've used ATX Movers twice in the past 12 months and will not use anyone but ATX Movers in the future! Great job guys! read more

We were a little worried about them packing up two different house but they were amazing! Fast, efficient, and affordable sums this company right up! Once the crew arrived to the houses they went straight to work. They were very curious to us and our pets! They had no problem working around us as we continued to pack things up and clean. (Luckily we didn't have much of that to do. HA!) My husband and I moved in December from our 1 bedroom, 1 office, and 1 bathroom apartment. Mind you we were on the 3rd floor with no elevators, just stairs. Miguel and Manny called before they arrived. Once there, they wasted no time and started right away. They had us out of our apartment and into our new 1-story 3 bedroom, 2 bath home (that was a little over 20 minutes away) in THREE HOURS! It was amazing. Not only were they incredibly efficient with their time, they took great care of our belongings by wrapping valuables, disassembling and reassembling furniture, and making sure to check-in with us every step of the way in regards to where we wanted things placed and/ or packed. They even helped us move/ rearrange furniture we already had in the house. Also, a big shout-out to April who answered the phone when we were inquiring about prices (which we found them to be the most affordable along with the best reviews). It was challenging to find movers as they are so many to choose from. I had friends whom either worked for a moving company or had owned their own. I was given quotes that were ranging too high for my budget. However that was expected because I was setting up the appointment last minute. It was difficult to make a choice until I used the project feature on Yelp. It made my choice easy as it allowed for companies to give you information at your fingertips. ATX MOVERS was my choice because it played within my budget and because they are also licensed. It was easy to schedule and they were on time. The contractors were polite and never skipped a beat. Went right to work and didn't pause for a minute. The 2 contractors, Allen and Chris, moved a two bedroom home in 2 hours; to and fro and was so polite the entire time. I don't know where to start with the words of praise for this company. First off, April was very kind and communicative of the company's policies and my scheduling. I just so happened to be needing to move on the darkest, rainiest day thus far of 2025. Even with tornado warnings beeping on the iPhones, Justin and Eric H. were bounding up and down my awful third floor apartment, helping me move into a 3-bedroom house a little ways down the street. The energy and hustle these men had alone could earn them 5 stars. But they were also incredibly considerate, careful with my items, patient with what I failed to pack up yet and they took pride in their work. I cannot say enough good things ATX Movers and about Eric and Justin. I was moving from Round Rock to Euless and from a 3 bedroom house into a 2 bedroom apartment and a stop at storage. ATX came to my house and looked at everything to give me a quote (most people I spoke with did it over the phone) and answered all my questions. When moving day came, they called when they were on their way and arrived during the scheduled window. They took a look at everything before they started loading and worked out the apartment vs. the storage boxes and the best way to handle. After everything was loaded, I put my own lock on the truck and agreed on a window to meet them the next day. They actually arrived before I did! They unloaded the storage and then the apartment. It was flawless. No crushed boxes, they were careful with everything, they set up my adjustable bed and even helped me unload the stuff that was in my car. I had the pleasure of using ATX Movers recently. Justin and Richard moved my belongings in a professional and caring manner. They moved quick, knowing I only wanted to use them for the minimum 2 hours. When I asked them to focus on the furniture because I could find friends to move the heavy boxes, they insisted they could get it all done and did- with 10 mins to spare! They were respectful with conversation and asking questions about how I wanted things situated, or where I wanted boxes to go when they were moving to the 2nd apartment. Justin, especially, was friendly and sweet, and was the first one up and down the stairs. He handled the paperwork at the end; was clear when itemizing the charges and didn't request a tip. April on the phone was very professional and provided all the information on the pricing, size of truck, scheduling, and payment options. She was also very prompt on responding to emails and phone calls whenever I wanted to ask a question. As for movers, Dillon and Justin was above and beyond my expectations.
