They were quick and very impressive at moving our items from our home to a storage unit and tetris-ing it in when I was concerned it wouldn't all fit! They are great guys and it was great to chat and get to know them too. We also had them do our long distance move. Our long distance move was hassle-free and I had a great experience working with AJ and Samuel. They are super friendly guys, and they work quickly and efficiently. We had minimal damage on our items, nothing I was concerned about, and they were super careful bringing things into the house. The cost of the move was a bit pricier than others, but worth it. They provided quotes for their truck, my own truck, and long distance move. They provided a way for me to pay the deposit over the phone. Do not recommend. I do not like bashing businesses, but save yourself the trouble and find different movers. I have done this exact move 5 years ago with zero issues so I knew what to expect and they video recorded a walk through that was reviewed again prior to the move so they knew what they were taking on. I gave my detailed experience to the owner intending to just leave it at that, but the level of unprofessionalism I was met with was astounding so I feel inclined to post. I will not put my detailed experience out there as the owner thinks he did me a favor by charging me what I was quoted at $5000 for a 3500sqft to 3200sqft 20 minutes apart... for an incomplete job - lack of accountability, poor time management (6 hours over and still not done- 30% of my items that should be inside are in my garage or in the wrong rooms, late both days, etc). There were other issues, but I don't feel the need to go into it. When I finally stood my ground on an hourly job that was FAR exceeding estimates, I got angry and they made me feel like I was the one in the wrong which was wild all things considered. I just hope no one else has the experience I did. Overall, they are ill equipped to handle bigger jobs. read more

When they first arrived one of guys said someone didn't show up for this job and the other guy with him was inexperienced and he kept telling the inexperienced guy what to do This was my first time using Mountain movers referred by someone I had 2 dressers 6 glass coffee tables, one small flat screen TV, 4 bar stools one king head board and boxes... no living room furniture no bedrooms furniture no dinette set to move and these people deliberately took 2 hours to unload the truck and 2 hours to load a truck and had the audacity that tell me it was because of the loading dock elevator and they charged me $756.00. I moved from a 1 bed 1 bath to a 2 bed 2 bath. Both of the units are on the 3rd floor. They showed up early and worked super fast and super hard. They were awesome. Nothing got broken (which is surprising because all of my stuff is Ikea junk. I was expecting at least one thing to break because it is particle board) They kept track of all of the pieces of things if they dismantled something. One of the guys carried a dresser up 3 flights of stairs ON HIS BACK like a turtle/ superman. They knew what they were doing. wrapped everything up in moving blankets. They were super nice and SUPER affordable. I will NEVER be moving myself again! I will 100% be calling these guys for the next move and will be recommending them to everyone I know that is moving. I hired these guys to move from a 4BD to a 4BD. They worked extremely hard and nothing got broken or damaged. I prepared as much as I could to make it as easy as possible. They protected and moved everything properly. The move took two trips and they worked late into the night to get it done. They were very polite and respected us and our property.
