I posted a request on Facebook in the community group for my move. They reached out promptly and I saw that they had great reviews on Yelp. They were just finishing another job and were able to take on my requests on a short notice. Because I had a smaller job, they quoted me a flat rate with no minimum job requirement. We later decided to add a couple of mattresses and a sectional we needed to be picked up from a second address, which they were able to accommodate for a reasonable price. Let me start by saying that if I could give Harder's 10 stars, I abosolutely would! Jonathan and his team were amazing from the start. I requested quotes via Yelp and this company was not one of the orginals that came through. The owner took the time to reach out to me and everything was smooth sailing from then on. Communication was clear, they were on time (if not early which I love!), efficient, effective, fast, took care of items and so pleasant to work with! I was combining households with another family member so we were working with having to fit my furniture into her existing home and they were able to make it work which I thought was going to be impossible! We also had some items that needed to be hauled away and when I asked if they had a referral for me, Jonathan (the owner) offered to give us a quote on those items so we could have them removed that day as well. In addition to all of the amazing service that we received, they were by far the best value without all of the crazy tacked on fees that so many movers put on a move. He takes the time to make sure his customers are satisfied. If there are any mishaps along the way (which expect there will be because nothing in life is perfect), Jonathan will reimburse the item either by purchasing a new one or deducting the amount from the total cost. Jonathan responded quickly to my request. I had a 2 care garage of wood tools (drill press, table saw, joiner, planer, router table) and other things to move. He came out and looked at what I had, then got me his rates. The crew showed up about 15 minutes early and get to work loading things up. He did not stack any and strapped it all down so nothing bumped. He also took a china hutch for me. He arrived to the destination and unpacked. There were no issues, nothing at all was damaged. No broken glass. He did a great job with a lot of heavy tools. I highly recommend him and will use his services again! read more

We recently used Harder's Movers and would definitely recommend them to anyone needing a moving company. They were prompt (early, actually!), worked quickly but carefully, and finished in less time than we were planning on which ended up saving us money. Jonathan was very observant and set up our new house mostly going off memory from the first house in terms of how rooms were laid out. It required very little supervision/direction on our end which I loved. In the move process, one of the movers (barely) cracked a VERY old VERY cheap plastic hamper that my husband has moved from home to home and even state to state. Were able to move me from downtown to south austin on very short notice and they did an amazing job, finishing in a couple of hours. Used them a second time. Apparently the dude thought it was because I was into him. I was not. He made a remark that he noticed I had kept up with my squats. I thought that was inappropriate. He didn't take it well. He poured water in my dryer and taped a plastic bag over the dryer vent. Which I discovered about 8 hours later first time I used it. So I had to move from one side of Austin to another, but didn't have to deal with big furniture or appliances. I did have about forty boxes of stuff, a whole bunch of ionizers & flat-screens, and some oddly shaped Asian art I like to collect. I also had to get this done within forty-eight hours. And Harder's Movers had the highest ratings I found on Yelp. Spoke to Jonathan Wednesday afternoon, they arrived Friday at 7:30am, and I was moved out & in by 10:30. Both places involved second floors. This diverting escapade cost me $348.96, and I don't think I could have put in any less effort. They did a great job on the packing, used two 26 foot trucks for the haul and put our belongings in two 10x20 foot storage units in Bend. Can't say enough about Jonathan and his team of one, Gabriel. I originally thought I had a semi simple move this morning, but turns out, I have way more stuff than I thought, i.e. boxes, furniture, outdoor furniture, more crates full of misc. etc. I also had odd request I didn't plan for i.e. "Can you stop and pick up my w@d first, can you break down the beds, can you move in the w&d and Refrigerator in and hook up "?
