Seriously, these guys are the absolute bomb. So this is the second time I have moved with Einstein Moving and I am even more impressed than I was the first time. First off, I felt kind of bad because I actually had to change my move date four times (four times!) before I finally was able to close on my new place. Long story short, closing on a new home is the worst/most inefficient process anyone could ever imagine. Basically I would just call them up and they would handle it no questions asked and with a great attitude. It was painless since they did not require a deposit or anything and they didnt pressure me or make me feel bad for what I am sure was a big inconvenience. Second thing is the fact that they are awesome with their communication leading up to the move. The sent me a confirmation email, an email in which they told me who my movers were going to be (awesome by the way because it was just going to be my girlfriend at home during the move and she felt more comfortable knowing who was going to show up), and a follow up email about a week after the move was done. On top of that, I was able to call them up whenever. The owners (who seem to handle most of the back end stuff) are pretty much always available. I remember talking to Cameron at like 7:00 PM one night to change the move date again. I had to leave a message a few times but they would always get back to me pretty quick. Finally, when they showed up for my move day (on time by the way) they were amazingly fast and proffesional. Miles and Paul (I think that was their names) got all my belongings into the truck and over to the new place in less time than they originally predicted. They also put these blankets over pretty much everything and then wrapped it in the giant saran wrap type stuff. That gave me some serious peace of mind. When we got to my new place, there was a weird hallway that made getting my weird bed frame a little difficult to get in but they handled like champs. They took the door off and did some minor dissasembly on the bed and got it in no problem. They put the bed back together for me and that was that. I am so glad I found these guys and I hope they keep up the awesome service. I have used several moving companies over the years before I got to Austin and found Einstein. Not one of them have come close to the proffesionalism and service of Einstein. They make me feel like family and I will never go with another moving company again (although now that I am in my new place I hope not to move for quite some time). read more

I have only moved a handful of times, but the last time I moved, I made my partner promise that we would hire movers the next time around. When the time came, I asked around and got a couple of recommendations. Then I looked at reviews, and even googled "what to look for/ask moving companies before you hire them." Out of the 4 companies I chose to consider, Einstein was the quickest to respond, and the easiest to correspond with. They were thorough, both over the phone and via email. I had narrowed my choices down to two. Einstein gave me a quote, and then once I provided them with a detailed inventory list, they updated their quote to a longer length of time (we have a lot of stuff). Their pricing/quote was higher than the second company I had narrowed it down to, but because of the ease of communication, and because the other company's quote went up when I reminded them I lived in a second story apartment, I went ahead and booked with Einstein. I am so glad that I went with Einstein. The day of the move, Spencer and Jack were on time (and called before their arrival). Spencer set the expectations for the day by reviewing our quote and the company policies on payment and time, and even complimented our organization. He said he expected that they would be be able to get the move done quicker than estimated. Both Jack and Spencer were lovely and respectful, and you should definitely request them on your next move! Spencer and Jack were beasts! They worked nonstop and moved very quickly. A part of me felt bad that I was just watching them do all the work, but then I remembered that this was the very reason I hired movers in the first place, because I didn't want to do that work myself! There were a couple of boxes buried in our stacks that we wanted to move ourselves, and they were careful to make sure that we were able to grab those boxes when the time came. Moving all of our stuff from the truck to the house we were moving to took less time than loading in, and Jack and Spencer were sure to place everything where we wanted it. They did a walk through after the unloading, and moved anything else that we wanted moved. All and all, they beat both time quotes we had been provided and for that I was extremely grateful. We are almost done unpacking, and I have yet to find anything damaged or broken. I will definitely be using Einstein future moves. read more

This is the second time I have moved using Einstein Movers, and my experience was just as good if not better than before. On the Morning of 30 September, prior to my scheduled appointment I was called by Michael, who introduced himself as a representative, and one of the two movers who would be moving me. i shared instructions as to where my building was located in the apartment complex. They arrived shortly thereafter. Abraham, the second mover, was the first to greet me at my door, followed by Michael, They both were professional and pleasant in their demeanor. Abraham explained how they would be working, and reviewed the necessary paperwork with me. They then both begin to tackle the job at hand. All furniture was wrapped for protection as they moved them to their truck below. All of my possessions were packed in what I considered a short amount of time, and we were on our way to my new apartment. My move was from one third floor apartment to another third floor apartment. After getting parked we briefly walked the apartment and discussed where i would like the furniture and items placed. I needed to go to the store, so I left the keys to the apartment, as I trusted Abraham and Michael to watch over my stuff as they moved it up the two flights of stairs. Although I had to stand in line at Customer Service at HEB, I was gone only what seemed like a short half an hour or so. When I returned they were moving the last of my items, Michael asked if every thing was placed where I wanted and if i would like help in moving anything. We adjusted the Dinning Room table a bit, but other than that they had followed my directions perfectly. Abraham assisted me in making payment on his tablet, and BAM !!! we were done. Abraham and Michael's knowledge and ability to efficiently move all of my items from one 3rd Floor Apartment to another 3rd Floor Apartment with no breakage, and all my stuff in placed was outstanding. To my surprise it took a shorter amount of time than originally estimated, which in turn save me money. Trevor and Josiah from Einstein Moving Company helped me move my son into his new apartment yesterday, and I could not be more impressed with the level of service they provided. From the start, their communication was excellent. They texted ahead to let me know they were on their way, which gave me peace of mind and allowed me to be ready when they arrived. They showed up exactly on time, greeted us warmly, and immediately got to work. The day itself was extremely busy. Many residents were moving in at the same time, which meant navigating crowded hallways, elevators, and parking areas. Despite the hectic environment, Trevor and Josiah remained calm, patient, and good-natured. They never made us feel rushed, yet they worked quickly and efficiently, handling every box and piece of furniture with care. Their positive attitude made what could have been a stressful day feel much more manageable. On top of the logistical challenges, it was nearly 100 degrees outside. Even in the intense heat, they kept up their energy and professionalism, never showing signs of frustration or fatigue. They were friendly, courteous, and clearly experienced at what they do. What a frightening mess I was facing...moving a house and storage shed 50 miles away after living in one place for 25 years! I did all the right things in getting prepared for the move...packed boxes, moved valuables myself prior to the big move, got all the utilities turned on at the new house, etc. etc. The only thing left to do was find a moving company that was reliable, professional and REASONABLY PRICED. After calling 4 companies and reading review after review, I decided to use Einstein Moving Company. Why? Well, for starters, their quick, thorough and very reasonable quote made quite a statement. Then, unexpectedly (and very welcome), I was inundated with constant communications from the owners. They gave me awesome tips on how to prepare for the move date and made me feel that none of my dumb questions were dumb. I felt like I knew these guys personally although we'd met only via email. On moving day, Ryan Hughey and Justin Burton arrived exactly on time and were just...well...just awesome! These weren't just two guys off the street. They were so professional and friendly and helpful. No matter what they were asked to do, they jumped right in there and got it done. They wrapped every piece of furniture and, if needed, they even wrapped door frames. The move went smooth as silk with absolutely no scratches, dings, chips on anything...walls, doorways, furniture, floors...no damage anywhere. And not one thing arrived at my new house broken or dinged. To top it all off, they did the move in less time than I had planned on, so I ended up paying less than anticipated (which allowed me to give Ryan and Justin a well-deserved generous tip!)! All I can say is these guys are the best out there if you are really wanting professionalism, awesome customer service, and good price. Using Einstein's services for our move out of town was THE BEST decision I could've made when it comes to moving. First off, I have never in my life worked with any company that communicates at the level that Einstein does. Very highly detailed emails of how things are going to go down and what to expect. It leaves you with no questions at all because they address absolutely everything and then some! On move day, Abraham (team lead) and Ty showed up at our little 2 bed/1 bath house and the magic began happening before mine and my wife's eyes. Couches, recliners, beds, dining tables and chairs, TVs and entertainment centers, and all of those other countless things were picked up and sitting in a very nice and well taken-care-of moving truck within one hour. That's with everything wrapped and padded up for safety. I haven't the slightest clue on how two dudes could do that amount of work in such a small amount of time! Our move was to a storage unit in a town about 2 hours away, as we were in a limbo between moving out and moving into another house. To make matters worse, the storage unit was a 10'x15' due to no availability of a 10'20'. I'm happy to say that every single thing inside that truck fit in the storage unit. Mind you, it is flush from floor-to-ceiling and all the way to the door, but I have never seen anyone make so much use of space. These guys would destroy you at Tetris. I don't care if you invented Tetris, they are better at it than you. I could not put a price on the level of service we received and would never use anyone else out of the Austin area if I were moving. I very seriously doubt they have any employee that performs under this level, but I can tell you Abraham and Ty really set a standard higher than Bob Marley could've ever dreamed of being. I hadn't moved in 8 years, and realized that this time around, we would need help, so I decided to suck it up and pay the money to hire movers to the heavy lifting. I did some research, and Einstein Moving Company seemed like (please forgive the incoming pun) a smart choice, and I was beyond right. We moved from a 3rd story apartment to 2 story condo, so I was expecting it to cost an arm and a leg; the quote I got was a little higher than I had hoped, but no higher than I had expected. Because the move ended up taking less time and being somewhat less involved than the quote had taken into account, what I ended up paying was moderately less than the quote, which felt reasonable, and fair to both parties. Personally, I found this to be a good business practice; I was worried that I would be given a low quote that ended up being way under what I actually paid. As for the move itself, it went unbelievably fast, and incredibly smooth. The movers, Christian and Adam (might have the name wrong here) had an excellent process for getting everything packed, and were very professional while being personable. They expertly wrapped all of our furniture, including a large and expensive flat-screen TV that I was quietly nervous about. I also have a very large memory foam mattress that can be difficult to move, as it is heavy but not rigid like most mattresses, and yet they moved it without any trouble. Overall, the entire process made me feel like hiring them was the best decision I've made in a long time, and I still feel like it was. No items were damaged during moving, the process was much quicker than expected, and the experience left me feeling like I would not hesitate to hire them again. I booked with Einstein Moving Company at my coworkers' recommendations, and all I have to say is: Excellent, excellent, excellent service!! I booked with the North Austin branch and the process was incredibly smooth. For my move, I had a king-sized memory foam mattress with a heavy metal bedframe and was concerned that two movers wouldn't be enough for it, but the woman I spoke with on the phone assured me they would. She even went the extra mile to confirm with her manager who also assured me that their guys could handle it (and sure enough, they did with no issues). My movers were Matthew and Sol (sp?), and both were very friendly and very professional. They introduced themselves and walked me through the straightforward contract, then got to work. My move was primarily large furniture, and was very impressed by their care and efficiency. They got everything safely wrapped up, loaded up, and unloaded to the new place lickety-split! At every step, both the office staff and movers took the time to ensure I understood the process, and was comfortable and satisfied with the service. Not only was I satisfied, but they completely exceeded my expectations. Einstein was also the most affordable of the movers I received quotes from. I We came in at the 2-hour minimum charge, which was about 60% cheaper than what I was initially quoted for my particular move, so I was very happy to have saved several hundred dollars. Even if I had to pay the amount in my original quote, the price would have been justified for what I feel was exceptional service. I can't say enough good things about this company - I moved to Austin two weeks ago from out of state on a busy moving weekend (Aug 8) that was totally booked up. I called around and several businesses didn't even return my calls. After reading the reviews, I called Einstein. I explained that I had a uhaul trailer and truck to be unloaded and moved into an upstairs apartment, a relatively quick job. I was told that they could fit me in later in the day after another job, but they cautioned me that there could be delays if the earlier job ran over, they would keep me informed. AND THEY DID, first with a confirming (and entertaining) email that linked me to their staff profiles so I could see my movers. They called the day before, to confirm again. They called the morning of, to check in. And, when as often happens on a busy day, the team who was to move me ran so far over my 3:30 move that they weren't going to make it, they got a different crew to take my job. Were they late? Yes, but I received 4 calls updating me on what was happening between lunchtime and 5:30 when Omar and Jeff arrived. All movers have this situation, but these guys really came through with LOTS of communication so I wasn't freaking out, and I got a reasonable discount for the delay, which was immediately offered, I didn't have to ask. Omar and Jeff were fantastic - friendly, efficient, and careful despite being at the end of a 100 degree workday. They took care of my things, but still got it all done very quickly. They put boxes where I asked, not all jumbled in the living room. They were great, and I will use this company again, amazing customer service. read more

I found Einstein Moving Company on a friend's Facebook page. He went to school with the guys who started this business and they had a deal on the facebook page so I thought I'd try them out. I have told myself I would never pay for movers as I normally rent a Uhaul and move everything myself, but due to a leg injury I knew that would not be possible. The move could not have gone better. They showed up 15 minutes early which I was not expecting. I can't remember the last time a service I've asked for didn't show up an hour late (after giving me a 4 hour window). For a two man team they move extremely fast. They have a personal trailer they use which they pull with a Chevy truck. One of the gentlemen told me they had the trailer custom built just for moving furniture and belongings. They were able to load everything from my 2 bedroom apartment into the trailer and fit it neatly. I'm sure I had 2 Uhaul trucks worth of stuff. They took all my belongings and unloaded them at my new apartment in 4 hours!!! I was amazed, because my friends and I would have probably taken twice that. Even more amazing was the fact that no furniture was scratched or broken, another feat my friends and I would not have been able to accomplish. All in all I would and will be using these guys the next time I move. The cost of the Uhaul would have been a third of the price of using Einstein, but the time it would have taken them would have been double. Not to mention the fact that I would have more than likely broken something (this happens to me every time I move). I truly feel like I made money by using them. This was a two bedroom apartment on the second floor of our building. Paul and Cameron kept in touch with me by e-mail and by phone on the days leading up to the move to make sure everything went smoothly. Our move was scheduled for 2pm, but they let me know that they had a move beforehand and it might run over our time a bit, as real life tends to do. On the day of the move, they were running late and Cameron contacted me to let me know when they were finishing up and when they'd be able to get to us. We arranged for mostly just our furniture to be moved since it is just inherently more difficult to handle. Cameron and Clint were awesome. As soon as the paperwork was taken care of, they started wrapping up all the furniture super quickly. They were able to wrap up our larger mirrors and artwork as well. They were super efficient and careful with our things. After getting everything into our house, they asked if we wanted anything else moved around, up or down stairs; they were very thorough. We haven't had a chance to really inspect all of our furniture yet, but as we watched they didn't seem to bang anything around. At first glance everything is in the same condition as it was when we left. Cameron went ahead and knocked off some of the amount since they ran an hour late getting to us. They took care of the job for about half as much as my other moving quotes. I think their skill, professionalism, and friendliness more than made up for the tardiness. Einstein movers are great, hard working guys, and I'll recommend them to anyone needing to move. read more

We moved a couple of weeks ago and I was very concerned about who to hire to move us. After doing some yelp research, Einstein moving continuously had excellent reviews. There were a couple other moving companies with great reviews as well, but there was always a couple negative ones in there too. I didn't see that with Einstein! We wanted to move on a Friday, but unfortunately I waited too long to call them, so knowing that was who we wanted to use, we decided to push our move up to Thursday in order to secure them. Everything I read was right on the money. They did everything they said, touched base with me the week of my move and again the day before (this was very comforting to me as my last movers didn't show up at all, and then after calling them the morning of my move, they said they would be there that afternoon and stood me up again! Nothing like calling all your buddies last minute to drop an afternoon move in their lap). Chris, Taylor, Justin and Frank showed up, on time, with two trucks ready to bust some serious a**. I was a little concerned about the hourly rate, but all for nothing as these guys jammed all day! Not once did I see them texting, making phone calls, or sitting around. They wrapped all TV's and furniture to eliminate damage and they wrapped the doorways to avoid bumping them...I just can't say enough about Einstein. They were professional, all had great sense of humors, and worked extremely hard and diligently. I would recommend Einstein to anyone wanting a great moving experience! read more

This is long overdue but I just finished unpacking after my move and can happily say that all my belongings made it from Dallas to Austin in the same condition they left in. Einstein Moving has made me one happy girl! When I got a new job in Austin I had only a 12 days to organize everything and move so I could get there in time for my training. I was a little stressed out to say the least. I went to yelp to find some good movers and sent out a few emails to some of the better companies looking for quotes. Cameron from Einstein was the first to reply and gave me one of the lowest bids. Not only was the price reasonable but I have moved four times over the past seven years and have never used a moving company who seemed to care as much as they did. They were always in contact, showed up on time, protected all my furniture with pads and wrap (something I hadn't really seen before with my other movers), and got everything unloaded and loaded super fast! I moved from a third floor so I was worried that would take extra long but they were practically running up and down the stairs (in fact i saw them actually running quite a few times). I had a lot of stuff I had to take care of in order to get moved in such a short period and I am so glad I found Einstein because they made the moving portion easier than I could have hoped for. Plus, the movers were super cute. Not really that important overall but definitely icing on the cake :) I hope not to move for a while but when I do Einstein will be my first choice for sure! read more
