I can't even begin to say enough good things about Webster & Co. Moving. They were more than just movers. They helped me through one of the most difficult days of my life and were so incredibly patient and supportive. I'd filed for a divorce from an abusive narcissist in January, left at a moment's notice with only what I could fit in my tiny car and lived in my at my current residence for a month with just those things and an air bed. My next door neighbor moved in about a week later and was using Webster & Co. I asked him how he liked them and he gave a glowing review saying it was the second time he'd used them, so I asked for their card. My attorneys were finally able to arrange for me to collect some of my furnishings and other belongings. Michael (owner) was so patient through the process as my ex's attorney caused me to have to cancel and reschedule my move a couple of times, once at the last minute on the Friday night before my Monday move. Michael was so understanding and happily rescheduled with me. I gave him fair warning that his guys could be walking into a very volatile situation and that I wouldn't be in the house alone with my husband. He sent Ruben, Andrew, Matt and Josh. I could not have asked for a more efficient and supportive crew. Right off the bat when we met in my driveway they told me "We're not just your movers today, we're your security detail too and if you need anything, just say." Then asked if I was ready, did I want to walk in first or with them (with them please!) and in we went. Luckily things remained peaceful and my ex was reasonably kind to them. Nonetheless, throughout the day, each and every one checked up on me asking if I was doing OK, did I need anything and to let them know if I did. I felt so secure with them there. Not only that, these guys were FAST! So efficient and everything was so carefully packed and labeled. Plus these guys climbed countless flights of stairs that day between two flights at my house and three at my current residence but they didn't stop. They got me out of my house as quickly as they could and on to my new life. I can't thank Michael, Ruben, Andrew, Matt and Josh enough. They made what could have been a really awful day unfold in the best way possible. We're listing our house July 1st and I'll soon be moving the remainder of my furnishings which are currently being used to stage the house. After carefully researching multiple local moving companies, I chose Webster & Co. Moving Services. Their online outline for listing "what" I wanted moved was most comprehensive and easy to use. I believe the detail in this online outline resulted in Webster's accurate online estimate of what it would cost. (Other moving companies' online estimate forms were not nearly as comprehensive and resulted in several "far-out", unrealistic estimates.) When I called to discuss details, a real PERSON answered the phone! Michael Webster walked me through the process and reassured me that I could count on them. He was 100% correct! A week prior to the planned move, I called to see if I could add an additional "stop" if necessary. Again Michael answered and had the information regarding my planned move at his fingertips! He quoted me a small price for the additional stop and told me that I could let the actual movers know, on the moving day, if the extra stop would be necessary or not. I had been told to expect the moving crew to arrive in a window of time between noon and 2 PM, and that they would call to let me know when they were on their way. The call came at 12:31 and they arrived about ten minutes later. Ruben and Matt were pleasant, efficient and very protective of my furnishings--there were NO scratches or smudges on anything! Webster honored their initial price quote, in spite of the fact that I substituted three new items for two of the items on the original list, and I believe their price was not only competitive, but actually reasonable for the excellent service they provided! Webster moving company has been by far the best and most efficient moving company we have ever used. They gave us a great quote and were very accommodating for our moving date as our closing date was a little uncertain for a while and we needed to book movers since it was the end of the month. Most companies that we reached out to gave us a good quotes, but told us it would take 6-8 hours. Michael and his team gave us an hourly rate and assured us they would move as quickly as possible but not too quick as to not damage our belongings. The movers showed up on time and realized it would be more efficient if they had another guy come help. It would be a little bit more per hour but they would get done faster, we were totally fine with that. They quickly got to work! We did not see them take one break to stop for anything! They had our old house loaded (a family of 4), drove to the new house, and completely unloaded in a little over 3 1/2 hours!!!!!! We couldn't BELIVE IT!! Nothing was damaged, boxes were all in the appropriate areas & it was almost too easy! After they left we noticed some black tire marks on our driveway from the trailer/truck so we contacted Michale, the owner, just to ask if he had any advice about how to remove it. Without hesitation, he said he would take care of it!!! They were so nice, so efficient & worked so hard!!! We will definitely use them again, or recommend them to anyone we know!!! read more

Just incredible people to deal with. Michael was great in emails and on the phone--calm, professional, and assuring. Mine was a complicated move, because I'd had to stay in an extended stay motel while waiting for my new place to open up, and somehow had 3 storage units because I'd also had to move my offices into 2 of them, along with household things. While 2 were together, 1 was far away, close to the place I was moving into. Somehow, the amazing Rich and Rich "got" all this and did it so well! They were very knowledgeable and professional. At the same time, they were delightful to be with, and maintained a cheerful, thoughtful, and "can-do" attitude on a horribly hot day in early July in Austin. I'd been ill, had surgery, and they gently "made" me stay in A/C and not help with anything! Which is also good because I couldn't begin to match their cheerful attitude in Austin heat and humidity no matter what the situation. I hate the actual moving part. Have done it on my own and with friends in early years. Had others do it. Have had long interstate and short local moves. Yet no company nor individuals have come close to what Rich and Rich did. What a company! What amazing people! What a way to ease the move and ease my mind! I'd recommend them always! This past August 2016, Webster & Co. helped me move all my belongings from my 1bdrm /1 bath 1st floor apt. to a storage unit less than 3 miles away. To add to the "fun" it was the hottest day of the year, I was on crutches, and I wanted to keep it under 2 hours for financial reasons. My last moving experience with a different company had been horrible with the team showing up 5 hours late and the move not ending till near 11pm at night. Needless to say, I had my concerns about this move, however, the Webster & Co team made it the smoothest, easiest, and quickest move I've ever done!! The guys showed up on time, saw the crutches and told me to sit and relax, that they would take care of it all... and they did! They had everything loaded into the truck safely, efficiently, and carefully stacked within an hour!!! We drove to the storage unit, they saw the size, and were skeptical that it would all fit... I told them I believed in their packing skills, but would rent an additional unit if needed. They said to hold off until they were sure and they set to work unloading the truck. Well, 1 hour later and not a foot of room to spare, they had everything loaded into the storage and stacked like a well played Jenga game. I was HIGHLY impressed!! John, Spencer, & Ronnie showed up on time and were outstanding movers. They went above and beyond what I had expected. No one said anything about how very dirty my house was or that I wasn't 100% prepared. They were clear that they couldn't take small unboxed items, as I expected. They had no other restrictions that I know of. John, the foreman, appeared to be extremely knowledgeable & experienced. They were all willing to do hard things and never complained. We chose to pay them hourly, but Mike had offered me a few options. Because I was paying hourly, I felt comfortable asking them to move items we hadn't previously agreed on. I knew they could say no, but they didn't. They said they'd try, and they did. John finished a complicated fridge delivery job that the original delivery guys wouldn't tackle. They left my fridge in the garage because it was the end of their long day. John and his team took all the steps required to get the fridge where I needed it inside, even at the end of his long day. All three of the guys were very strong and moved things I can barely push, but I could see they are also good at moving heavy items because they have techniques they use to keep themselves and the items safe. I rarely leave reviews but finding good movers is not an easy task so hopefully this helps others. After reading a lot of Google and Yelp reviews, I made a short list of movers to reach out to. That was an interesting experience, to say the least. One mover said they "don't load PODS containers" flat out via email. Another pretended to have limited availability despite texting us multiple times for our business leading up to the final day. I ultimately chose Webster Moving for two reasons: transparency with pricing and communication. I spoke with the new owner, Garrett, several times, and I knew I had found the right moving team for us. I asked him about the recent change in ownership because some people left reviews about it. What I appreciated most about Garrett was his honesty and ownership over the challenges they had during the transition, which is no easy task. I could see his commitment to his business and doing right by his customers. The movers did an incredible job packing up our two-bedroom apartment and loading our PODS container. They didn't waste any time and were very careful with our things. We didn't experience any bait and switch on pricing or hidden fees in the end, which is exactly why I chose Webster Moving. I found Michael Webster on the web. I didn't know anything about movers in the area as I'd lived in my house for 12 years. I saw that they had a 5 star rating on Yelp and decided to give them a call. Michael was on time and very responsive to my calls. It's amazing how a simple thing like being available and responding to your customers makes all the difference. Michael did. He was on time and called when he was on his way. Many companies claim they do this but it's rarely as smooth as what I found with Michael. When the big day came to move, I had a 30x10 storage unit full of stuff and a 4200 sq. ft house to move. They sent 4 guys (Rich, Rich, John and Joel). They were absolutely awesome. They treated my things like they were their own. They were polite. They introduced themselves to family members that I had around help me. They worked their tails off from 8AM to 7PM. They wouldn't leave until I had gone through every room and made sure everything was just as I wanted it. They took beds apart and put them back together at the new house. I have moved numerous times in my life and have had to use movers for several of those. Webster and Co. by far was the most punctual, professional, and efficient movers I have used. Juan and John actually arrive 20 minutes early and had me loaded in half the time it took the last time I moved. They knew how to maneuver the furniture so it would not be damaged and did a great job in wrapping items to keep them from getting scratched. They took care in unloading and moving it in so as not to ding the walls or the furniture. I was impressed with their professionalism and their skills, so much so that I used them again. I had some bookcases that were family furniture that were being given to me and I had to get them from Dallas to Leander. I contacted them and they were able to schedule me at the end of a move to Dallas. Rob and Alex stayed in good communication with me concerning the time they would be there to pick up the bookcases and also were on time in delivering them this morning. After going to my current storage unit a few times over the past week, I noticed it always seemed to be very hot (100 degrees+). Realizing that it could and probably would damage some if not all of my belongings, I frantically called around on Sunday in search for a climate controlled storage unit which I found immediately. I was referred to Webster & Co. Moving Services by a friend and immediately called Michael and left a message asking if/when he could move my stuff and at what cost. He returned my call within 30 minutes to my surprise and was willing/able to give me a fair quote over the phone and confirm an appointment for Monday morning. They showed up on time, they were clean cut, friendly and ready to get started. They told me it would take around 3 to 4 hours to complete the job. However, they got it done in only 2 1/2 hours. They even moved a few things not previously mentioned at no extra charge. Not only will I use them again in August and October but will highly recommend them to anyone I come across that may need their service. I have used them 3 times over the past year with very large commercial moves involving priceless artifacts and national treasures. Webster & Co surpassed the 5-star level each time and my expectations. Michael is my primary contact and I trust him completely. The onsite movers are incredible - on time, hardworking, fast but safe, thorough and very friendly. This round was John, Juan and Dylan (the new kid on the block). I used Webster and Company for two moves in the last nine months. They are the best movers I have ever used, and over the last 20 years I have used quite a few. Not only was their price as competitive as any others, but they took extreme care with my possessions and nothing was damaged. The accommodated my schedule, arrived on time, completed the load and unload faster than projected, and set everything up perfectly. The movers were VERY professional, and obviously took pride in their work. I have a full three bedroom house, and they took extra time to make sure everything fit into one truck so I was not charged extra for an additional truck. It would have been far easier for them to have just loaded it quickly and used another truck, since they did not get paid more for taking the extra time to be sure I got the best move possible. Scheduled a move with Webster & Company and we were 100% satisfied. It started with a quick and on schedule estimate by Michael. Michael was professional, courteous, knowledgeable and understanding. After getting a few estimates, we decided to go with Webster & Company. We were a little skeptical because they came in quite a bit lower than the other moving companies. However, we decided to give them a shot. We are glad we did. On moving day, they sent three movers (John, Juan and Alex). These three men were also professional, friendly and helpful. We're were moving from a one story to a two story. The movers got everything loaded in an hour and a half...pretty darn fast. It only took them 2 hours to unload and reassemble everything. The work ethic, attention to detail, and overall care for my belongings were to such a high standard, it made me instantly want to buy them lunch, tip, and so forth. I've hired professionals in a lot of Manual labor fields. Moving takes gentleness and confident assertion at the same time. These guys make it look so easy, and the fact that they're all interesting, humble, and friendly people just made it that much more of an unmatched experience compared to other companies. The owner, Michael, even threw in a discount after he was told by his driver lead that I bought them lunch. AND HE DIDN'T EVEN MENTION IT WHEN CALLING TO ASK HOW THINGS WERE GOING DURING THE UNLOAD.
