Brandon, Robert, and Christopher showed up to move our 3-bedroom house. They were super professional and quick! We pointed out what we were planning on moving and they wrapped everything up in blankets or plastic wraps and got it loaded. They took the time and care to make sure everything was treated properly and disassembled everything. No shortcuts taken! When we remembered there were other things we'd like them to take, they happily acknowledge without any eye rolling or annoyance. No teasing or joking either! When they got to the new place, everything was unloaded quickly and placed where we wanted it. They took the time to check with us to make sure things were going where we wanted so we didn't have to move them ourselves. They also properly re-assembled everything. At one point, my daughter's shoes were in the way and they didn't kick it aside. Instead, Robert took the time to pick them up, move them out of the way, and put them to the side in a neat fashion. They also helped me disconnect and reconnect my washer and dryer and also moved the existing washer and dryer at the new location to another place for me. Everything worked as expected! Unlike other services, I didn't really have to list out everything I wanted to move. I was advised that the cost was going to be X dollars per hour plus Y for a trip fee. For the size of my move, they recommended 3 movers and estimated it was going to take about 5.5 to 7.5 hours and they rocked it out in 7 hours. There were no additional fees or any surprise charges. It was exactly as they had explained it: X dollars for 7 hours + trip fee. The hourly charge was right there with other companies. I absolutely love their service, their movers, and pricing. I can't say enough good things about the Moving Kings!!! I originally booked just a move, but more than a month later I was injured and wasn't going to be able to pack my own things, so I reached out to see if I could add packing services. I was afraid I'd lose my original booking, but Manuel very easily just added packing services to my already booked move. He responded quickly and outlined the additional potential costs and how it worked, and also recommended I upgrade from the originally planned two-man team to a three-man team. I did so and ended up very glad I did! Jose, Brandon, and Peter were amazing! First of all, they got me packed, loaded up, and unloaded in less than four and a half hours. For a two bedroom place, that's unbelievable! But despite how fast they were, they didn't cut corners at all. Every box is securely taped, contents are well-protected, and they went the extra mile with very detailed labels! I've attached a picture so you can see: the box notes not only the room, but some indication of the contents!!! This is going to make unpacking so much easier. All three of my movers were friendly and professional. Additionally, as another review noted (actually the review that decided me on this company), as a woman home alone it can be a little scary inviting strange men into my home. However, I felt perfectly safe with Jose, Brandon, and Peter. At no point was I concerned. Overall, I absolutely 1000% recommend the Moving Kings. The Moving Kings did a great job. They were fast, helpful and friendly. Our movers were Durell and James who were both efficient and pleasant. I highly recommend them. Jack, the owner, whom I initially spoke to was on point, he gave me a realistic timeline and was always available. He answered all my questions quickly, and was very helpful throughout the whole process. He checked in on us, and gave me a discount at the end because there was a minor technical issue with my bed. That was generous because these were already off season rates! The only gripe I do have is that my armoire legs got ruined, but it was an IKEA piece with their weird compacted wood, and it weighed a ton, so I think no matter who moved it, it was probably going to be damaged. If you have IKEA products they probably aren't going to make it through a move with zero damage so I don't actually blame the guys for this, I just want people to be aware that with cheap furniture that's bound to happen. Apart from that, as with most moves some of the furniture did have minor damage, like a hole through the fabric of the underside of my sofa, and a little wear and tear on the IKEA bed and dresser but all things considered they did a great job and we couldn't have done better!!! read more

I wanted to thank Jack and the Moving Kings for getting the job done!!!! WE were moving into a new house and Jack understood how the move in date could be a sliding scale due to many different things. We had to change the date twice and the Moving Kings were awesome. Jack has a simple philosophy, Give me as much notice as you can so I don't lose any money. If I don't lose any money on the dates you reserved you shouldn't lose any money ( a refreshing attitude to say the least! ). Move-in day came and it was scheduled to rain but mother nature was kind. We used Moving Kings for our lab move today and I have to take the time to review these guys immediately. These guys were AMAZING. I truly cannot recommend them enough. Yannick, KC, Tommy, Issiac, Richard, and Darvis were the best. They worked so quickly and got the job done sooner than I thought was even possible, especially since we did not have an elevator! Also I worked with Jack over the phone to schedule and coordinate everything. Working with him was just as pleasant. He was very thoughtful about our move and made sure we had everything we needed to make it happen. He even called this morning and said he can add 2 more guys for less than normal if I wanted it and I'm so glad he had that fore thought, since the move went much faster than expected then. They were in by 8:45am and completely finished by 3pm. I ended up spending less money in the end even with the additional people added. I was beyond pleased by the job they did and I will be recommending them for any move I could ever have in the future. Brandon, AJ and Chris were very professional, friendly and fast. They got the job done in the time I was estimating and took very special care of all my items. They showed up exactly on time and after a quick walk through, got right to work. They wasted no time in boxing everything up and labeling each box by room. They even notated items such as "utensils" and "dishes" in each box so unpacking would be easy. Even though my apartment was only 1-bed, it was on the third floor and we had accumulated quite a lot of items in 6 years. After packing everything up, and disassembling the big furniture, they loaded things up into their truck. Because we had so many boxes, it took them a few trips up and down those darned stairs, but they did it quickly and made it seem so effortless. I am so thankful for that. Once at the house, they were very careful with moving the heavy items especially as we had just had the upstairs painted and floors newly installed. There were zero damages to any of my items and I cannot recommend this amazing company enough. I hired a 3-man crew from The Moving Kings for my move earlier today, and I will happily recommend them to absolutely EVERYONE!! Pros: PUNCTUAL/RESPONSIVE: Prior to the day of the move, Jack confirmed our appointment via text-- which is always nice; and on the day of, the crew actually asked to show up EARLY (but we decided to hold our scheduled time). EXPERTISE/PROFESSIONALISM: The guys were extremely careful with all of our belongings, and they were such a pleasure to chat with while they moved our things. We shared laughs, traded stories, and learned that one of the crew members was a veteran who served in Afghanistan. While they were unloading the truck, they ensured that each item was placed in the correct room. PRICING: The Moving Kings had the best hourly rate AND the best Travel Fee of any company that I received quotes from. Their pricing was very easy to calculate with no hidden fees, which made it easy to budget for. Cons: None. Anything about my move that left a bad taste in my mouth was not the fault of the crew. So there we were, the night before our move, and we call (Rocket Movers) to verify the time the crew will be at our home. Nobody answers and then we get a call 5 minutes later to say they are not going to be able to make it. I look and find Moving Kings on Yelp. I call at 6:35 PM and I get an answer! Jack (the owner) answers and tells me they can save us ( not in those words of course). Says he had a crew moving a house in the am and can get to us early afternoon. We line it up and Jack texts me twice with updates to let me know when to expect the crew and they will be arriving earlier than expected! The moving crew arrives ( James, Cain and Daniel) and acted as if we were the first move of the day, fresh. This Is a pay by then hour company so you' would expect them to "go at their own pace." Well their pace was fast. These gentlemen were great. They were professional, polite, careful, courteous and did I say fast. Thanks to Micaiah, Jose, and Donral at The Moving Kings, this trip from Liberty Hill to Burnet was indeed my most perfect move. These men knew exactly what they were doing. They were exceptionally strong, well-mannered, and fast, and they handled my furniture and possessions with the care a mother would give a newborn. They listened when I asked them to load the truck in reverse order so unloading at the new house would be efficient, and that plan worked. When they finished, they gathered every scrap of packing material, then each man shook my hand and wished me well in my new home. I called these guys after I had to re-schedule due to the elevator out at my new place. So, my original guy, Alex the mover, gave me the moving kings number. They worked so hard but for a 1/1 moving 1/2 mile south-it took almost 7 hours. Which was much more than I had thought it would be. Be The cost was nearly $1200. dollars, with tip it almost hit $1400 Arnold and Dustin were fantastic. They had a hard time getting my 12 foot couch into my new place. But t they got it. They even screwed the legs on my sideboard while on its side. Hey People- FYI-empty your chest and sideboard contents box em' up. It will be best in long run. I want my guys, Dustin and Arnold to get a $$ hourly raise please. They work hard. I definitely recomend this Company. The workers Peter & Jose did an excellent job. They had to go up three flights of stairs in the hot Austin weather and they didn't complain once. Two other gentlemen came and assisted, and I did not get their names, but they were the most courteous and polite gentleman I have dealt with in a long time. They showed me that young people not from this country can still teach an old dog new tricks. Best movers in Austin! Jack and Marshall were friendly and called to let us know they would be a little early - which was honestly great, because moving in Texas in August is no joke. They were fast too -- when we had to move the truck out of the loading area at our apartment due to garbage pick-up, and lived in the farthest unit from the elevator, they literally RAN with our mattresses and back to the truck to help get it done within the estimated time. They wrapped everything (which is not something many companies do) and protected the floor and doorway to our unit, so neither our stuff nor the apartment got damaged. They even accommodated us changing our actual moving day less than a week before the original scheduled date. We have had bad movers before, but our experience with these gentleman was exceptionally great. Robert, Don, and Jose worked very hard and were delightful to work with. They were on time, dressed appropriately, and took great care in handling our belongings. They were polite, professional, and very mindful of everything they did. Nothing was broken or damaged, and they did a wonderful job reassembling our furniture and placing things where they went. They brought everything they needed to do the job. Robert, Jon and Donral helped us move and they were fantastic! My husband and I have moved 5 times in the last 5 years and this was by far the quickest & easiest. It was our first time hiring guys to help us pack as well as move and they did a really great job packing and labeling everything nicely. They were quick, but not rushed or haphazard. They disassembled and reassembled our furniture correctly and in record time. I was amazed to see how easily they moved our big, cumbersome king-sized mattress to the 3rd floor of our new townhome like it was nothing!
