We have used these guys twice now and both times they have gone above and beyond to ensure everything is taken care of. They are diligent, careful, accommodating and work until the job is done. Kenneth and his team are amazing! 10/10 would highly recommend! read more

Great experience with kangaroo movers. They were on time, efficient and took great care of our belongings and the walls/floors as they were moving things. This was a heavy item mov for a 500lbs treadmill. read more

Used them twice, first for a move from a third-story apartment to a one-story house a few years ago, and recently from that house to a two-story home. Kenneth was very responsive, had the best rates, and his team worked efficiently. The first move went smoothly, and when a small issue came up afterward, Kenneth handled it right away at his expense, which I really appreciated. This time around, everything was great, no damage to any items, and the team was just as fast and professional as before. Shout out to Chris, who actually helped with my move to that apartment years ago under a different company! The only minor hiccup was a small mark on the ceiling which I didn't notice until a few days later. It was likely from moving large furniture upstairs. While it's frustrating, it's an easy fix with paint and the overall experience was excellent otherwise. Overall I recommend Kangaroo Movers. Their pricing, responsiveness, and efficiency make them a solid choice. read more

The team was amazing! I called in the morning and they were able to come same day. Loaded my storage unit so quick and unpacked within 2 hours at my house. Super thankful for their help! read more

They did a great job! Best movers I have ever had experience with! Pricing was good too. They were quick, courteous and worked thru any issues with ease. The crew was very cautious with our goods and even fixed ny son's bed when moving! (I bet that fix will last the test of time too!) I was nervous about how this would all go and it was an amazing experience all around! read more

Used Kenneth and his team for the second time....this time just to unload a very full 26' rental truck + 12' trailer....I can't recommend them enough....they are friendly, fast, careful and by the time they left we again felt like they were part of the family !!!!! The teamwork and commradery between the team is great and you can tell they like what they are doing. Amazing service, would not consider using anyone else!! read more

These guys are absolute pros. I've gone to other movers before (2 Men and a Truck) and it was a nightmare. I was referred to Kangaroo Movers by a friend and I'm so glad I went with them. They were on time, professional, and hustled the entire time. You can tell they take pride in what they do and it shows. Absolute great service, friendly movers, and amazing value. I will be going out of my way to refer these guys from now on. Thanks for everything, guys! read more

These guys are amazing! Great communication and took great care of my stuff! I would use them everytime!!! Thank you guys!!!

they were quick, did great work, and were solid blokes. also very affordable rates. would highly recommend to anyone in Austin moving.

I recently moved from Austin to Tucson. I hired Kenneth of Kangaroo Movers to move some large furniture into a storage pod at my house and take a lot more to donation centers. My realtors recommended him. This Austin small business owned by Kenneth Black, provided very efficient personal care, and provided an affordable solution for both our local moving needs and out-of-state relocation. They wrapped the furniture and protected our belongings for their safe arrival. Kenneth partnered with another mover to make the trip to Arizona. Both movers worked quickly to load everything, drive to our new location and unload, along with setting up the beds and furniture. They were extremely professional, took great care of all of our belongings, answered any questions we had and went above and beyond with helping us do a few things that we couldn't. We are in our 70's and were treated respectfully. The men drove a 26' box truck, pulling a 6' box trailer. The wind and mountains slowed down the drive. When they arrived, they hit it, unloading and placing everything where we told them. Some boxes weren't marked clearly as there were a few people that helped me pack. After two very long days with driving and unloading as fast as possible, it was 11 pm when they finished. I wish they were local to Arizona so I could hire them again to help with simpler moves. Throughout the entire process, Kenneth was friendly, reliable, yet very professional. 10 stars to Kenneth and Kangaroo Movers. Thank you for making a very stressful situation less stressful. We highly recommend Kangaroo Movers for your Austin local and out-of-state moves. No project is too small for them to handle. Kenneth and his staff were an absolute pleasure to deal with and delivered as promised with a very fair price. read more

HIGHLY recommend Kangaroo Movers. They recently helped us move from a third story apartment in over 100 degree weather while the a/c was broken. Both people who arrived were kind and professional and so fast. I was shocked by how quickly they got to work. They wrapped up our furniture and electronics and even beat me to our new location. They treated our belongings with care and there were no hidden costs. I greatly appreciated that we only paid for the time that they were here. Most movers will round up or have a two hour requirement. If you are looking for reliable, friendly, reasonably priced, and professional movers in the Austin area, you've found them! They were efficient, quick, and so nice! If we move again, we will definitely be calling Kangaroo Movers! Also a very fair price, overall great experience! read more

We kinda booked the move close to the moving date and they were able to accommodate our request. Super responsive and professional. It is not an easy move with all the stairs and all our stuff but the entire time everyone is very patient. We would work with them again for future move. read more

Prompt, good communications, friendly, careful with our 'stuff' and economical. Grab these guys while you can. An up and coming small business, they will soon discover they can charge more for superior service. read more

To say I am disappointed with my experience is an understatement. The gentlemen who came to help us move were very friendly to the point of excess and I quite often caught them standing around at length, talking to my dad, who was there to assist me and was not paying for any portion of my move. This is fine, but those conversations added up and were on my dime. I appreciate being friendly, but either don't charge for that time or work while you chat. In addition to this, they kept informing us of how exhausted they were from a previous move the day before and I do feel that it impacted how long it took for them to move all of my belongings as they were definitely dragging towards the end and even asked if we would be okay with them leaving certain items on the wrong floor level since they were tired. Even after this, we discovered that quite a few boxes were left in the wrong location (bedroom boxes in the living room, garage boxes in the closet, bathroom boxes in the garage, etc.) and I've discovered damages to my standing mirror in addition to several other furniture items. We bought dinner for them as a thank you and they proceeded to charge me for the time they took to eat... even after saying it would be time off the clock. All in all, this was not the professional service I was hoping for and I would not recommend them or book them in the future. My move took far longer than I was verbally quoted because they were so tired from previous jobs, I was charged for non-working time and breaks, items were damaged, and boxes were placed in the wrong rooms. 5/10 - they got the job done, but I do not recommend. read more

These guys are awesome!! I have never had to hire movers before but this was an amazing experience from start to finish. Paige was very helpful in guiding us through setting up a time, pricing, and all the tiny details of the process. The guys were amazing. Very responsive and literally willing to hear you out when you asked for certain things to be done a certain way. Very adaptive to your situation without compromising their own technique and workflow. Handled everything very well. PS for you future peeps moving. Help these guys out by having things organized and do a bit of the "easy tasks" yourself. Save yourself some time and money by doing so. Don't be rude and obnoxious. These guys were kind and friendly and honestly deserve more credit than they get. So be kind! Thank you again. I'll definitely be using their services for future moves! read more

I highly recommend these guys. Hard workers, honest, respectful, responsive. They've helped me with 3 moves and worked with my budget. I seriously love these guys, salt of the earth. Like I told them, I hope I don't have to move for a while, but if I do, I will definitely be calling Kangaroo Movers. read more

So simple, fast and great! Scheduling was super easy, we were able to book within the week, fast responses, easy and simple communication. Prices are the best in town. The guys that showed up were so efficient, they were able to get the job done quickly, moved big stuff, deconstructed the bed frame - appreciated every single second of their help. 100% would use again and recommend to anyone in Austin. read more

We have used Kangaroo Movers for two moves now and would highly recommend again! We love how competitive the pricing is, how awesome and friendly the guys are, and how quick the move was. 4 hours for a 4 bedroom home! Also, nothing has been damaged in either of our moves. Thanks guys for being so wonderful for both of our moves. read more

My Favorite movers yet! Super nice guys, very fast and efficient, and super considerate of all our needs. We were moving into a shipping pod, and they managed to fit twice as much stuff in there from what I thought would be possible. It was very impressive how well they packed it all in. They took their time to make sure to use every last bit of space, and were careful and considerate of each item. Highly recommended! read more

Super friendly, prompt, and very communicative, they finished with their previous job early and asked to start sooner, and after seeing how quickly they packed me up, I'm not surprised. Would definitely hire them again! read more

My unit recently flooded with sewage water and I was in need of movers immediately. They were so kind, responsive, and was the best price in Austin. The two men that helped me were so friendly and got the job done so quickly! I'm so appreciative! I STRONGLY recommend for a job well done. read more

In short, more than satisfied from the process to the result. Nice job done! I filled up an auto-generated request on Yelp and Kangaroo Movers was one of the first to reach out. I asked some key questions, including whether and how they will protect my 65' TV, how they will deal with apartments w/o elevator, etc. Those are answered fast and straight forward. Appointment email was then sent to my email address. The whole communication consumes less than 2 hours. Then the moving day come. Kenneth and the other wonderful mover (sorry I didn't ask his name!) took good care of my furniture. Tables got wrapped by cloth then plastic wraps then tapes, shelves and sofa were miraculously transported in one piece, "this side up" and "fragile" boxes were treated as instructed, mattress got bagged. They heard from me about what to move, then efficiently took all stuff downstairs. Moving to the new place, they worked in the same efficiency lifting all those pieces (yes, including a huge shelf and the sofa) up to 3rd floor, and place everything at the correct spot. This 1-bedroom moving lasted from around 9:30 (when they actually start to pack and move) to 13:00 as I do have some troublesome large furniture, not to mention the effort of bringing them up floors. They do offer a reasonable hourly price, so the total is still pretty acceptable. Have to emphasize their great communication and service. During the moving day, I only showed them the way twice (one in the old apartment, one in the new apartment) and everything just flew out and in so smoothly. Most comfortable moving day I have ever had. If I am moving another time, I will come back. Will recommend to any friend moving around Austin. read more

Would give this place 10 stars if I could. On time, did the move into my storage unit in one hour. They work fast! Will be using them again on my next move! read more

These guys were super hard working and responsive, and moved all of our stuff between apartments within a couple hours. Their rates are really reasonable, and they moved everything up and down stairs in the august heat with no problem! I would definitely use them again. read more

Love the fact that this company only requires ONE HOUR MIN! Our window time was 12-2pm ... luckily someone cancelled early morning and we moved up. Quick. Responsive. Friendly. Kenneth disassemble and reassemble my L shape couch as fast as the boys in the pit stop for NASCAR. That couch took me 2 hours to assemble ... with my wife. Man ! Talk about experience !! They wrapped most of the furnitures ... except my wooden dinner table , it got banged up a bit with a few bumps, but hey ! Other than that , I am super happy with the service. Thank you , boys for the easy and fast move! read more

These guys ROCK! Kenneth and his crew were efficient, communicative and courteous throughout the entire process. I've used movers before but this experience was bar none the best. They hustled to get our stuff moved efficiently and always had a cheerful attitude. The booking process was also seamless -- never had to wait longer than an hour to get a response and the pricing was exactly as advertised. If you pay cash, there is a 5% discount (as of April 2022). Would recommend 1000000/10. read more

From the first text to the finished job, Kangaroo Movers were professional, courteous, and friendly. I had been looking for a reliable moving company that didn't completely break the bank, and I came across Kangaroo Movers. They were fast to respond to my inquiry and fast to respond when I had to make a change to my appointment. Day of the move, they arrived on time and got straight to work. Both of the movers were attentive and weren't afraid to ask for clarification on things they weren't sure about. They were also fast - they didn't "milk the clock" like I've heard some other movers do. If you're looking for a reliable, affordable, quality moving experience, look no further! Thanks for taking such great care of us, Kangaroo Movers. read more

Just got done with a super smooth, super easy move. They were the lowest price option- the only one under 2 hours really- and they did a fast move getting all my stuff out of a storage unit into the back of a trailer that was just a little too small to fit everything. Taylor & Heath did a great job tetrising everything in there- (in a safe way so they won't jostle around & get damaged) and were kind & personable to boot. A+ would use these folks again in a heartbeat read more

They were great! Extremely fast and friendly! Handled everything with care. I would definitely use them again.
