I had originally been scheduled for the day of the ice storm but they graciously accommodated me as their second job on an earlier day. Kangaroo was everything that you want in a mover: on-time, fast work, careful with belongings and home, well priced, friendly, and good communicators. We had a pretty small job of just moving a couple of pieces of heavy, fragile furniture from a showroom sale into our home. Kangaroo quoted the job much more reasonably than others around town. They were easy to communicate with before scheduling, after scheduling, and I'm the moving day. They showed up in the time window they said (on the early side of the window, and exactly to the minute of their updated time estimate). We were their third job of the day and I was actually expecting them to be late because things happen sometimes. Nice surprise! On arrival to the store they were very friendly and went to work quickly. They recognized that as an hourly service that time is of the essence. There was no dilly-dallying. It was nice that they were right on time since we were meeting them there. On arrival to our house, they quickly got the furniture in the house and unpadded and even helped me by doing some quick assembly and adjustment. They were complimentary of both our home and the new furniture addition. All of that for a price that was lower than the minimum on next best quote. read more

Had everything packed and ready to go. Kangaroo Movers were - Easy to make appointment and confirm. No hassle of providing massive amounts of detail on items to be moved. They were on time. Completed move as expected. King bed, queen bed, large sofa with chaise, and about 20 other pieces of small and medium sized furniture. Also 45-50 boxes. Up and down some stairs. I have used Kangaroo seberal times in the past but it takes one bad move to ruin it. Took 11 hours. Owner claimed he could move my exercise equipment. Left one item in my previous house in whichI had to pay an adfional $1000 to move it. They damaged my peloton tread that does not work now. Lost two levels off the bottom of my stationary bike. Took a chunk of wood out the stairwell and did not care when I addressed in text afterward. They left without removing any of the wrapping on all furniture. Left several items that were clearly instructed to be moved. When I reminded him, he denied knowing. I was told they would dump some items then did not take them. All after i paid and tipped very well. Stupid me for not walking through before they left. I do not revommend these guys for a real move. Maybe for an apartment or tiny house. I referred about 10 people in the past and none of them are using Kangaroo again. It shows a big truck on tneir website. Nope...it's a trailer. So get ready for several trips and many hours. One of the movers continuously ran into overhead light fixtures and walls. Since the movers damaged my Peloton, warranty will not cover it. Yay for me and they got paid. Bunch of BS. They showed up and even though my pod was delivered at the opposite end of the apartment complex and with the door facing not out not to the street they still unloaded my whole pod in 40 minutes, moved it to the other end of the complex and up to my third floor in 2 hours!! I have moved several times and this company is by far my best experience. Heath and Taylor were extremely quick, professional, and friendly. They took tremendous care of all my personal belongings. I had a desk that was not able to fit through the door but they took it apart and put it back together within 5 minutes...it was a HUGE desk. We just moved and as a busy couple, we didn't have a ton of time to pack. I asked Kangaroo Movers to come and pack as well as move us to our new place. The team was very responsive before, during and after the move. We had some really crazy rain the morning of our move so they were understandably behind. They kept me informed of their timeline and arrived during the new arrival window. Kenneth, the owner, also was one of our movers and he was very personable, knowledgeable and honest throughout the whole time. They brought boxes with them and used my boxes first to save me some cost (we ended up needing their boxes too!). The pair worked diligently the whole time, took apart our king sized bed frame which certainly wouldn't have fit out or into the new place. They reassembled it upon arrival. Nothing was broken, Kenneth warned me about a possible integrity problem with one of my shelves in case it broke in the move (it didn't), and the guys worked rather late to make sure everything was in place. I truly appreciated their hard work-- and extremely fair pricing! Believe me, I got a number of quotes before determining what company to use. I would recommend their team to everyone. And I'm confident even if something would've happened to my furniture or otherwise, Kenneth would've worked to make it right. I will definitely look forward to using them next time I move. They cushioned and wrapped every piece of furniture before taking it to the truck so none of our things would be damaged.
