Everything was pre-packed in rented plastic boxes and ready to go. Despite this, a 3-person crew took over 6 hours. For context: a year ago, 3 movers moved my entire 3-bedroom house (twice the size of this apartment) with an extra storage unit stop in under 4 hours. This crew milked the clock. One guy spent nearly an hour wrapping just four basic items (a chair, ottoman, table, and dresser). Items sat staged on the curb for two hours without being loaded. The pace was so slow that we had to start carrying items to the truck ourselves just to finish. Even the crew leader admitted to me that one of his guys was moving too slow, yet they billed me for every single minute. I have reached out multiple times by phone and email requesting a fair refund for 2 hours of wasted labor, and management is completely ghosting me. Save your money and hire a company with a professional work ethic.

I also received a texted, itemized invoice on my phone from the corporate office, to review, a few minutes before making final payment arrangements with Daniel and Devonte. Management was very friendly and communicative, by phone and text, before and during the move, checking in with me, and ensuring I had their direct contact information, at all times. It seemed everyone I spoke with, texted with, and met with were experienced service and moving professionals, who take pride in their work, and their customers' experience. I received estimates from many companies, having had difficulty reaching my usual movers, and seeing that their pricing was no longer competitive. All My Sons was by far the best value, the most transparent, efficient, experienced, equipped, organized and most communicative... both prior to and during the move. I usually don't leave reviews, as many satisfied customers in many service industries fail to do, but I wanted to ensure that they all receive the acknowledgement and accolades they deserve for going above and beyond. I politely explained that I would need the move to be at least in the morning and asked if that was possible. Instead of helping or clarifying, the representative responded rudely and repeated that they "don't have a time." I calmly said that if it couldn't be early in the morning, then no worries. At that point, she abruptly hung up on me. Hanging up on a potential customer who is being polite is extremely unprofessional. Based on this interaction alone, I would not recommend this company.

They charged us $300 for a 1,509 sq ft house -- despite the fact that the home had brand-new blinds, brand-new flooring in all three bedrooms, and no refrigerator to clean. This was absolutely not a discounted or bargain price. Before hiring them, they specifically promised they would come back and address anything my realtor found unsatisfactory after the cleaning. Based on that promise, I paid them in full immediately after the service. A few days later, my realtor inspected the property and found the cleaning quality extremely poor. She provided them with a detailed list of areas that were still dirty. One toilet was so poorly cleaned that my realtor cleaned it herself. On another toilet, instead of properly scrubbing blue staining inside the toilet, they simply suggested replacing the whole toilet altogether. That alone tells you the level of effort they put into the job. The dishwasher was still dirty. Windows, baseboards, drawers, and other surfaces were visibly dirty. There were even cobwebs still hanging on the walls. When I contacted them to come back as promised, their attitude immediately changed. They were rude, dismissive, and kept delaying scheduling. I gave them my husband's number to coordinate a return visit, and they said the earliest they could come was Saturday (nearly a week later). Then on Saturday, they suddenly claimed they would not return unless someone was physically present at the house to inspect their work. This made absolutely no sense because they already knew the property was vacant and that we were remote landlords. They had completed the original cleaning using an access code with nobody present, so this was clearly just an excuse to avoid honoring their promise. After that, they stopped answering calls from both me and my husband entirely. The house was still dirty, and we ended up paying another cleaning company to redo the entire job properly. Unprofessional, dishonest, and extremely poor-quality work. I would strongly discourage anyone from using this company. Respond to the owner's response: you lied! (1) The toilet was totally cleanable. The second cleaner cleaned this toilet with no problem. It looks very clean now. But you even didn't try and simply asked me to buy a new toilet. What a moron. Another toilet shown in the picture showed how my realtor easily cleaned after you still left it dirty! (2) my husband said he didn't clearly agree to have someone come for you because your accent was strong and he couldn't clearly hear what you said. Simply not realistic for us to agree. When he called you, you also didn't tell him which day and time you could come back to clean the house either. Later when I called you to come back, I already explained to you why we couldn't have someone on the spot waiting for you because it was an empty house and we couldn't hire someone to wait for you there. You knew this already even before we let you clean our house at the beginning, because we gave you the house access code to come in and nobody was there! We told you our realtor would come a few days later to check and asked if you could come back to finish cleaning if she pointed out dirty places. You agreed which is why we gave you money to do it. Unfortunately we paid you in full on the same day you did the cleaning. So you can become a moron later. You simply didn't want to keep your own promise to come back to finish cleaning. You could simply say you would come back to finish cleaning what we pointed out and no more trips if my realtor found out more later. However you simply refused to answer our phone and disappeared! If you continue to lie in public here after causing us so much stress and financial loss by hiring a second cleaner, I will further seek related third party for help. I don't believe such a horribly bad company could lie like this in public.

The only reason we left was because the property sold and it was no longer going to be a storage facility. Bergstrom Storage doesn't care. I have used these guys in the past for broken TVs and they have always provided a delightful customer experience. You have the options of leaving stuff out on the curb but I couldn't do that because of my HOA. Also, last time I had left a desk that someone snatched up from the curb. So I didn't want to waste their time again. Their technology use is pretty awesome and respectfully as a IT guy I appreciate how it makes billing simple and easy. I worked with Zack Baker at Arranging It All to move my mother-in-law from an Assisted Living Facility to Memory Care a few miles away. He was very responsive and quick to visit both locations and talk to me about what would fit in the new place, what might not make it, give me an estimate, and even found a place for her beloved grandfather clock across the hall. He notified me that he was getting married and leaving on his honeymoon in 3 days but would leave a plan for his team to execute. Well, the move day turned out to be a central Texas Spring downpour with street flooding, which made things more challenging and slowed the movers down. They charge by the hour and it is a pass thru cost. The team leader notified me they were working as quickly as possible. Fast forward to the end of the move, and my mother-in-law's new room was finished and looked very nice. Pictures were hung, the bed was made, clothes hung tidily in the closet - it was great. The big surprise was when I got the bill, which was 50% higher than the estimate despite me spending about 1.5 hours packing and removing the contents of one cabinet, and extraneous small pieces of furniture and kitchen items that were not going to make the move. Zack contacted me when he returned from his honeymoon and we went over the issues, agreeing to split the difference between the estimate and the final bill, which was satisfactory to me. Arranging It All was an absolute lifesaver during our move. My husband was away and I had a baby to care for, so having a team I could fully trust made all the difference. They handled everything--from boxing up our belongings to transporting, unboxing, and even organizing everything in our new home. I stayed in an Airbnb throughout the move, and when my husband came home, he walked into a completely unpacked and beautifully arranged house. It was incredible. There was a slight issue at the tail end of the move, but Charles handled it immediately and with such care--it actually elevated the entire experience and made me feel even more supported. Zack and his team were able to get my mother's things packed and moved from one senior living facility to another, with very short notice. Zack figured out where each piece of furniture would fit (or not) in the new space. Robin expertly packed everything, including items that were hanging on the walls. Some fragile items she transported herself rather than putting on the truck. At the new place, all furniture items were set up, boxes were unpacked, furniture was dusted, wall items were hung, bathroom and kitchen were set up. They even put fresh linens on the bed. The painful process was somehow made doable by Kat and her team (shout out to Emmerie!), with their firm but gentle persistence to get it all done. They really kept me on task/gave direction when I needed to sift through things which was incredibly helpful. Otherwise when I had to work or was busy with my kids they never seem to waste a minute. Moving with two toddlers was completely overwhelming, but they unpacked and got us organized in the new house in just two days. I called them back to organize the garage I'd managed to stuff full with overflow and in just a day they had it all perfectly purged, sorted and stacked. They showed up on-time and worked without stopping aside from a short lunch break (which was always fun getting to chat with them) -which was quite impressive given the slog I put them through. Things to consider: It's an investment - time, efficiency and the sense of joy of an organized home should be considered the criteria as success. Handyman charges an hourly rate of $140/hr. In hindsight, I would rather a fixed rate by project. You can save costs here if are handy and have the desire to do things on your own. I spent more than I planned, because I didn't have the interest or capacity for such. I was a bit hands off and didn't get overly in the details. I had Just closed, eager to get settled. Everyone I've shown the finished product to is excited about how my project turned out and wants to do the same thing for themselves. I will likely revisit using them to help me edit and keep myself organized, which is a service they offer. I'm back to work off holiday break, with an unboxed home that's organized, but it will cost you. When I move again, I will definitely factor this service in my relocation budget.

(The other major component was using Heavenly Moving to do a full service move that included packing- highly recommend!) They left me with a beautifully organized home, including all the drawers, cabinets, closets, even the "junk" drawer (which is too nice to even be called a junk drawer now lol) and the peg board in the garage! DO NOT HIRE SIMPLER MOVING!!!…read more **Use the services of Simpler Moving if you have a lot of money and don't want any broken items paid for after you've paid for their services.** Luke, Stephen, and Sawyer were very polite and easy to work with... while packing things. Luke and Stephen then unpacked everything as requested, putting things where I asked, which did save me the hours of unwrapping all my things, freeing me from breaking down all the boxes and dealing with all the packing paper. *Keep in mind* I knew going in that I had hired one of the most expensive movers out there, but I had to move very quickly so had little choice. HOWEVER... When I contacted Luke, then later Layne the owner, after I found a broken clock, a ripped duvet cover, and I realized the tape used to keep my earrings from falling out of my earring pocket storage display had ruined it (removal of the tape left a sticky residue I couldn't get off even with Goo Gone) I was IGNORED COMPLETELY. Then, Layne promised it was so a mix-up and my money would be refunded back on my credit card I paid with originally. Still haven't seen that money. This was after I had written a GLOWING review (which they did respond to, go figure). I included photos of my destroyed items. I even sent screenshots of exactly where replacements could be ordered including each replacement cost. Total reparations only came to $106.19. Considering I paid them $3,421.80 to move and unpack for me, I can't believe Layne is so cheap that he is SIMPLY avoided paying for so little, and so easily. Sure wish I could get back even some of the extra tip money I overpaid. It would easily cover the cost of my things.

They gave them a great recommendation, too. I was impressed, to say the least. The price quoted was more than reasonable, they even accommodated my crazy 2 day constraints. I have NEVER had movers take such GOOD care of my things! NEVER!. They wrapped, padded and covered my belongings like they were precious. The move went off without a hitch. Eric walked me through the process, quoted me, quieted my nerves when I was worrying this move had to be a precision strike. LOL. He even drove the truck and unloaded the second day.
