Before booking these guys showed up kinda far down on the "movers" search on yelp and didn't have a ton of reviews so I was skeptical at first but from the first call Sharon put me at ease. We needed help kind of last minute and had a large all day move. Sharon was able to accommodate the date we needed and the rates were the same or less expensive than other places I had called. Now for the move. They did an awesome job yesterday! They really worked hard as we have a LOT of stuff and much of it is very heavy or large. All our belongings were wrapped well and placed where they were supposed to go. I recently moved to the Cedar Park/North Austin area from Dallas and came across C&L movers and I'm so glad I did! Sharon, one of the owners, was so helpful and flexible with scheduling a time for her crew to show up. Since I was driving the Uhaul myself from Dallas, i did not have a set time that i would be arriving but she was so understanding and reassured me that whatever the time she would have someone there to help me. She was so quick to respond and kept in close contact with me the entire time, I would have been a nervous wreck without her help. Moving by yourself can be scary but the entire C&L crew were so nice and professional. My moving team was Josh, Jonah and Craig and they were awesome and so patient with me, asking me where i would like things to go and helping me decide. Josh, the supervisor, went to great lengths and his attention to detail was very much appreciated. From installing my washer and dryer, putting my bed frames together to making sure the rug under the beds and couch were in the right positions, i couldn't have asked for better service. i had A LOT of stuff (20 ft Uhaul filled to the top) and they made extremely quick work of it all. With all the boxes/clothes/heavy furniture I had and with them having to put together 2 beds that were in a million pieces, a 5 piece sectional couch, plus installing my washer and dryer, it barely took them 2 hrs and that is impressive because i cannot stress enough how much stuff i had, it was ridiculous, haha. They also gave me a recommendation on someone to mount my flat screen as well! IF I ever move again, I will be using C&L movers, no doubt about it. And would recommend them to any family or friend moving to the area. Just had the opportunity to have the C&L team come over to help us pack up the downstairs of our house (about 1300 ft.² ) and I was thoroughly impressed with their services. They sent a team of three movers with strong leader ship and did an excellent job of assessing our needs understanding what our expectations were and following through on that in a very, very reasonable amount of time. They provided three movers for a two hour minimum and accomplished amazing amount of work in that time. They were careful with our 'treasures' and incredibly efficient at getting things packed in the POD in our driveway. We will be needing assistance in a few weeks to move those items back into our newly renovated house and I will definitely be calling C and L movers to handle our things again for that task. read more

Wow, just wow! Can't say enough about this company and the people associated with it. We had sold our home and purchased a new one but there was some uncertainty about when we needed to move. We had a huge 4300 sq. ft. house full of 18 years of accumulated furnishings, stuff, etc as well as a 3-car garage full of stuff from my mother-in-law's house. Chris came to our house to walk through and give us a quote. An hour after he left, I got a call that we were to be out of the house by the next day! We were in full panic mode as we had not packed most stuff yet. I texted Sharon mid afternoon that I needed movers the next morning. After calling some guys, she got back with a firm quote and was able to get four guys and two trucks to the house by 8:30 am in San Antonio, coming from North Austin. Chris, along with Cain, Craig and Rabbit spent 15 hours non-stop packing, moving and hauling junk. They were consummate professionals and seemed to have endless energy. It's one thing that they were extremely efficient, but what sets them apart is their attitudes. The guys were smiling, courteous, and seemed to love working together. That calm demeanor was just what the doctor ordered while we were in full panic mode. Nothing short of a miracle! It started with just contracting a mover. A Facebook Marketplace customer of mine hired them to move some pieces of furniture from my house to hers, so when they showed up, I had no idea what to expect. Joshua, the owner's son was the lead mover, and so polite and soft spoken. They did such a good job that I referred them to another Facebook Marketplace customer who wanted to buy a room full of office furniture, so they returned the next day to move that furniture. I waited until sort of last minute to hire movers and found this company because some of the larger companies had no availability. I had an immediate response from them, which was refreshing. The woman who set me up was super helpful and gave me their pricing and time they would arrive. The guys showed up 10-15 minutes early, which was perfect! Was a supervisor and two guys. My boyfriend thought that movers would automatically try to milk the clock a bit, but these guys worked hard all the way through. We weren't completely packed, so even when you would think they would just be waiting for more to do, they stayed busy helping us so we could get it done. At the end when we were totaling out, my math was wrong and I tried to overpay by accident. The man supervising and doing my paperwork corrected my mistake (by around $100) and joked that while he liked my total more, they were Christians and would never take advantage of a situation. I thought that was pretty cool. All in all, they worked hard the entire time, got my move done faster than I expected, and even though my sister (as helpful as she is) packed my dishware and glasses without any padding or tissue, they took care and everything arrived perfectly! 10/10 would use them again and have been recommending them as much as possible. I lived in a 1 bedroom apartment in domain. I had already packed most of my stuff. But my bed and dresser w/ mirror needed to be disassembled. Sharon's team disassembled my bed and dresser, loaded them on to truck along with other items like couch, tv, tv stand, 2 night stands, mattress etc. and unloaded them to a public storage garage in under 2 hours. While I appreciate Sharon's timely responses and that she was able to schedule me in upon short notice, I'm disappointed in the level of service provided. I was told three movers would be available and that the estimated time of arrival would be 11-1. Two showed up and much later. Granted things occurred with the previous move that delayed them, but I was told 1 p.m after that and the reality of it was 4:30. I emphasized I had to be move out of my apartment by 6 p.m. and I have a one bedroom place. We didn't leave my apartment until 6:30. I also say "we" because I helped load and unload the truck. I asked Sharon to provide me a discounted rate as a result, and she texted me a snarky response saying that at least they got me out of my apartment. Wow, that's crap. The move was finished four hours later. While the guys were polite, the job could have moved faster. I recommend you to go elsewhere. Update: Since I'm having trouble responding to Sharon's message to me, I'd like to comment here. The previous movers I scheduled ended up telling me they couldn't make it bc the previous job took much longer and it would be late in the evening until the could get to me. They even called me the next morning early to prioritize my move as an apology. Rather than cancel on you Sharon, I told them I was taken care of and didn't feel it was right since she/you were quick to respond. Sharon, your assumption that my personality was the reason that they cancelled is wrong and ridiculous. Also to address why I still tipped your men - I recognize that their job is manual labor and it's tough especially in Texas heat. On top of that, the movers asked if we could stop by a gas station or the like before we got to the storage unit, and we did. That's where I also purchased them Gatorade and a big bottle of water for both of them. It's a sad, unfortunate world when you try to belittle a customer for kindness to your employees. read more

Absolutely fantastic company. My other movers that I had scheduled this morning were a no show. C&L stepped in and did what they failed to do. If you want your things padded/protected, don't use C&L. We asked MULTIPLE times for them to pad our items. The lady over the phone said exactly that, that they would take care to wrap our furniture in padding. But they didn't, even when we asked 5+ times in person on the day of. I warned them about a very special painting in particular. I said, Could you please pad it? If you think it might be jostled at all, then just let me know, and I can take it myself. And I said that in a friendly tone; I would've legitimately just moved it myself because it cost me a lot of money for that frame/painting. But they reassured me it would be fine, even cracked a few jokes. When I saw them loading it into the truck by itself, without a covering, they reassured me again, said it would be fine because we wouldn't be driving far, that the painting was snug, and that it would be alright. SURPRISE... the painting got scuffed. On top of that my bed had tons of pieces that fell off/came apart on the truck ride over because somehow they had jostled it really badly, to the degree that bed parts broke through the screws. So good luck fixing that. If it was just the bed itself, I'd be whatever. I understand some damage comes with moves. If they had padded my painting and it still gotten scuffed, I'd be more understanding. But the fact that the woman on the phone said everything would get padded, that my roommate and I asked literally 5+ times in person and they just shrugged it off, and an extremely expensive, sentimental piece of mine got damaged in the process because of their carelessness pisses me off. The painting was hand painted on silk from Indonesia and had to have a custom built frame. You can't replace that. read more
