I got the recommended one for our 3 bed house, and it was the perfect amount. The delivery and pick up was so fast and easy, and having to unload the boxes within a certain amount of time ended up being beneficial for not procrastinating unpacking. The best part was that many of the boxes are the same shape, so I was able to find efficiencies in packing because I had an idea of how much could fit into one box after doing the first few. The movers loved them because they are easy to stack, and it saves them time by not having to carry a ton of small/different sized boxes back and forth. I hope they expand their business to other places. This is a must for every move.

Cheaper than cardboard boxes. More organized than cardboard boxes. Need I continue?!? They have packages ready to go (I used the one bedroom option and added a wardrobe box) and they come with a set of wheels! You rent them for a week which helps you stay on schedule with not leaving packing until the last second and it makes the quote from the actual mover so easy because you know exactly how many boxes and cubic feet you'll take up. Never thought I could fall in love with an inanimate object, but consider me smitten with BB.

We lived on the 3rd floor of an apartment complex with no elevator, and moving during the hot Moreno Valley summers is no joke. The team was able to load up a 2 bedroom apartment into the truck in about 2 hours. Despite the heat creeping in, there were no complaints. My GF and I took the time to pack up 95% of our belongings to make this move smoother. But the things that we couldn't pack, like the couch, were so nicely wrapped by the team. Our belongings got to our destination quickly, efficiently, and without any damage. If you have the time, pack your own things and have them nicely stacked / organized to make things easier on your movers. From the get go, Moving Troopers were very communicative. The day of, Diego called to confirm and let me know they were on their way. He also assessed the space and walked me thru what I would expect during the move. If you're moving and have the extra funds, hire these people. It is worth EVERY penny and saves you the mental breakdown -- especially during summer moves when the heat can be intense. If we find ourselves moving again in the next year or two, I know who to call!

Used the Two Men and a Truck located at Nmays S in Round Rock. Hopefully this is the same franchise…read moresince I couldn't find a Yelp site for them. We used this service with 2 stops and then a final destination for a local move of some of our belongings. AJ and Travis were the young men sent to facilitate our move and boy did they ever. On time, careful with our belongings, polite and professional. They worked at a fast pace yet were extremely careful with our belongings. Because the first stop was our storage unit my husband also viewed their HWY driving, they drove at a good clip, but followed all laws and did not speed, but did not dawdle to pad the time like some hrly moving companies do, loading at both locations went smoothly as did the unloading( which I was there to view). I can't say enough good things about AJ and Travis! While they were careful of our belongings they were also very conscious of the time and they beat the low estimate of the quote I was given. I would absolutely use their service again and I would even recommend asking if AJ and Travis are available!

1/5 stars -- Great start, sloppy finish…read more Hired these guys for a move within the neighborhood from a condo to townhouse ($700 original estimate based on hours/stops). For most of the day, they were hardworking and kind. But by the end, exhaustion clearly took over and the quality fell off a cliff. We even reached out to their manager to ask about finishing Monday and before we knew it -they said they were done and rushed my wife through signing off on them being done and everything being done well and the final price $2500 which had my teacher wife in tears. Coming home, I found: * A treadmill and an expensive bike left outside, uncovered * Lawn mower and weed eater pulled out of the shed and abandoned outside * Dresser drawers left sitting in the grass * 3 suitcases dumped outside next to our storage unit * Claimed storage was "full" when it wasn't -- they just weren't trying to fit things properly or stack it- they literally threw everything into piles on top of each other not caring about damaging anything * Ignored labels on boxes indicating where items should go Now we're stuck carrying heavy boxes and having extra furniture downstairs and are having to carry them upstairs ourselves after paying $2,500 for full-service movers. We have multiple broken items and they did not attempt to resolve the reassembling of the West Elm bed frame that they "had to break" to get it out of the condo. As a side note: probably 30-45 minutes of them at the uhaul storage place was them trying to back up their truck directly in front of the elevator instead of just next to it where they originally parked and they ended up hitting their truck on both sides on a pole trying to turn it and this was included in our $210/hr time when it shouldn't have been as they had been parked right next to where we needed to go in the first place. I also almost feel that's why we ended up paying the $2500 as well to fix their truck because they hit multiple things which had me worried about uhaul coming after us since they were hitting their property. If you need help for a quick 1-2 hour job, they might be fine. For anything longer, be prepared for the effort to drop off hard toward the end. I needed to move from Austin, TX to McAllen, TX for a few months and decided upon Two Men and a…read moreTruck to help me transport my belongings. It turned out that the realtor (at BIGRealty, don't use them) didn't yet have a property during the first deadline which when I informed Two Men and a Truck, had no problems changing the date. We had literally gotten the property sorted out about 2 days before our lease expiring, and again...Two Men and a Truck had no problems changing things around close to the move-out date. Their staff was super friendly and made my move easier than the realtor did. The movers arrived maybe 30 minutes late (8:30a), but that's due to Austin traffic and that I was living downtown. Once they arrived, they introduced themselves. There was Summer, the driver..and Michael, who was pretty much the muscle (despite Summer carrying the heavier stuff up a flight of stairs ;-) ). They had quoted me 4 hours due to the elevators being the far side of the building, and still ended up doing it in only 3. The rate I was given was pretty damned reasonable for a long-distance transport, and they were up-front about everything. The held my belongings for a day while I made my drive down south, and showed up exactly on time in McAllen to unload my things. Both Summer and Michael turned out to be the ones to unload my belongings as well. They were able to unload everything in a very short time, even carrying my entire CD collection to the second floor. They had me initial to make sure that everything was off of the truck, double-checked that I didn't forget anything and then was off. I'm surprised at the number of bad reviews for Two Men and a Truck and I can only believe that some of the reviewers didn't bother to pack any of their things. This is my second long-distance move, the first one was from Florida to Texas which I did myself which resulted in me learning a lot about the things that can happen during a large move. If you're too lazy to pack your own things, make sure you get mover's insurance. Talk to your regular insurance company. There's a reason why this type of insurance exists. Fortunately, we didn't need it as we made sure that we didn't have anything loose/dangling like a $10 dryer hose as listed in some of the bad reviews. When moving, make sure you use stretch-wrap to hold things together as the truck will vibrate (go rent one at U-Haul so you can feel what your belongings have to go through), tape up glass (or better yet, remove glass to be packed separately), take apart things that can be taken apart, keep screws and smaller pieces in bags, and box your belongings up as if you really care about them. We vacuum-sealed all of our clothes so that they took up less space, which would've ended up slowing the move down but Summer was able to stuff things in various places in order to make less trips. At the end of everything, we literally had no damage to any of our belongings with Two Men and a Truck. Everything is in perfect condition and it was a 4-5 hour drive. Oh, and they also overquoted me so I ended up paying less than what I had expected to pay. Too awesome. My lease here in McAllen is only a few months, and I'm definitely going to call Two Men and a Truck again to see if they'll take my business when I move back. I actually thought that the movers would've been the hardest part of the move, but the issues w/ the realtor and the property itself have been the hardest. I'm definitely now a fan of Two Men and a Truck despite many of the negative reviews and will likely use them again without hesitation.

Move was on 6/5, here was my conversation with Tristen the next day:…read more Yesterday's move did not go well. The team sent was incredibly slow. I understand that it's hot out and in no way is it acceptable that I was working harder and faster to move my belongings. Additionally, I was charged for 4.25 hours of work on top of the $160 travel fee? Why am I essentially getting charged for both travel and workers? Not to mention that your guys went to the wrong address for delivery at first so I'm getting charged for incompetence and slow workers? Also one of the guys took a 10min+ bathroom break at my new apartment. I get that nature calls and I also think it's reasonable to take breaks like that off my bill. Had I not been working as much as I was to move my stuff (both to the truck and from it) I would have had to pay for another 1-2 hours of labor which is absolute robbery. Please let me know what can be done to make this poor experience right. Tristen on 6/5: Hi Sean, I'm sorry to hear this. I will look into this and I'd like to follow up with you on Monday. Tristen on Wednesday, 6/11: Sean, do you have any photos or videos that show the crews inefficiencies? I am trying to corroborate this with the crew and dispatch manager but I don't have much to go off of. To follow up on the travel charge- that covers the time spent driving to the load location and back from the unload location, fuel expense, use of the truck and tools and equipment that we use during the move. ------- Pictures and additional text conversation included. Absolutely terrible actual service which matched the customer service. My favorite is where the team lead told me that they went to the wrong location and that it would be an hour to get to me despite me giving him the exact address and the apartment complex. I also gave them my address about 10 times when requesting and signing off on service so being charged for their inability to put in an address adds to the shi!show that it was to hire this company.
