I completely back everything Alex has said. I'm not sure why you continue to single me out when…read morethis was a move that both Alex and I were involved in together. Whether I paid or he did is irrelevant--we both contributed to this process equally. To clarify a few things: I had my own dollies and equipment, and both Alex and I were moving significantly more items ourselves than your movers were. In fact, I noticed multiple times when I went down to the truck that both movers were just standing inside, not actively working. Several items they did handle--like my paintings that were still sealed in plastic--were wrapped unnecessarily three or four times, wasting time rather than helping the move go more efficiently. Yes, the elevator used was the freight elevator, but even if it hadn't been, both available elevators were equally close to the unit, so the point feels moot. Most importantly, the way you've chosen to handle this as a business owner is honestly shocking. Arguing with customers, deflecting accountability, and lacking basic humility or professionalism--especially when we were among your first clients and you had no reviews at the time--is both disappointing and embarrassing to witness.

Seems very high for a small living room and a bed... They later sent a receipt with the wrong amount I was charged. Felt like they were constantly running the clock as they took their time with everything: unnecessary over-wrapping of the furniture, claiming to need to disassemble furniture even further after I had already disassembled plenty on my own, and just overall lots of standing around. They dropped off all of the disassembled stuff at the new place and left. (Afraid of what the time would have been if they had helped with reassembly...) EDIT: Owner responded claiming there were no elevators to assist in the move when there in fact WERE operational elevators at both properties that were used by YOU so that was a blatant lie. Nobody else used the elevators during the entire time we hauled stuff to and from the truck... The original apartment was actually right in the middle of the complex so not sure why you're lying again claiming that it was at the end of a hallway...? As for the ridiculous claim about the truck's parking adding more time: the truck was parked at the entrance of the gate... Parking the truck a whopping 20 feet further to be OUTSIDE the gate would not have added "considerable more time" to moving the furniture and would have in fact saved time because you wouldn't have been blocking anyone inside the gate... Disappointed not only with how the move was handled but the lack of respect and lies told in the response. Extremely unprofessional.

Unfortunately we had a bad experience. Luckily it turned out to work out, however here is what…read morehappened; This is an email I sent to the company a few days after our move...and have yet to get an acknowledgment or response. We confirmed our appointment on friday and were told we would have movers to help unload our 16' truck somewhere between 4 and 6 pm on Saturday. (Originally we were told after booking, that this would take 5 hours) I called first thing Saturday morning to make sure mine and my husband's phone number was in the system, and again, confirmed the appointment. I was told at that time that it will likely be closer to 4 because of the way the schedule looked and that we would be given a call if they were going to be later than that. At about 5:40 my husband and I both attempted numerous times to get in contact with Move Drs to no avail. We had heard nothing from the movers, and only had been given one contact number where we left messages. I also sent an email requesting an update. We had to return our truck on Sunday by 9 am and were going to be charged a 70.00 late fee for each half hour it was late, so at that point we wanted to make sure someone was coming or if they were just no-showing so we could get othe movers in there to move if possible. I was out of town and my husband was alone so it was not an option to move it in ourselves. After numerous attempts, and 3.5 hours later, my husband posted on the facebook page for move drs with the situation and almost immediately received a call stating they were on their way and would be there in 45 minutes. After about an hour, another call came saying they had the wrong address and that they would be there in 20 minutes. They finally arrived at 8pm. Everything was done by 10pm, however at this point, nothing got put together, and the move in was extremely disorganized because it was a "rush to finish" Also, the two men that moved in had no way of covering the carpet, and they walked all through our house with dirty shoes moving stuff in and out. I'm not sure if this is standard for the Move Drs, but I am extremely disappointed with the service, and hope that this is not how all customers are treated. To top that off, one of the movers asked for a banana and then left the banana peel in a corner of our new place, not in the trash.

I purchased 2 hrs of moving services from Move Drs on Jan. 24. I called Move Drs on March 26 or 27…read moreto schedule my move date of April 6, which was ultimately scheduled for 10:00 am. Move Drs called at 10:20 on April 6 to cancel. Their reason was that they had a fire in their office and when I asked, they reported that they did, in fact, have mover crews and trucks available, but the manager decided to bring the crews in to clean up the office instead of taking care of the appointments that they had already committed to. I certainly hope there were other extenuating circumstances. It seems like a better choice would have been to hire a cleaning crew and kept the moving crews and trucks working to take care of the customers. Move Drs also told me twice they would find another company to move me later that same day but I never received either a call from a new mover, nor a follow-up call from Move Drs. All of this was last minute and ended up costing me substantially more in surcharges since I did not have a prior scheduled appointment. . To me, Move Drs views their business as a one-time customer exposure with little attention to any repeat business and cares nothing about service

Philip and Jerry were our crew guys and ensured our furniture was properly wrapped and packed to be transported from house to house. We appreciate their hard work and taking the time to disassemble and reassemble furniture and appliances that needed the attention. They made the dreaded move go so smooth, with very reasonable pricing. Note that they do charge extra for using wrap but it's worth it to protect your furniture. We will be using AAM again if we should ever need to move. Mike & Monique

https://www.facebook.com/share/17GqEDx35n/…read more We used this company as recommended by our home finder. While the movers were very polite and maintained a professional demeanor, they damaged our entertainment beyond repair. The movers were apologetic and assured us that they would take care of it since the company had insurance. Our entertainment center cost over 800 dollars and the piece that was broken was a vital piece as it holds our entertainment center together. Later, they stated that the insurance covered 43 dollars and the owner ever so graciously (insert sarcasm) offered to pull out of his own pocket 7 dollars to make it an even 50. We told him the amount to replace that piece and asked to replace it instead he did not agree to replace what they damaged. We have a storage that needs moving and asked for services to move a few boxes from storage. He offered it at a discount. The discount they initially gave us was 60 an hour. They do not stick by their word on their website to protect us and our property. Their insurance is worthless. We tipped their guys 50 dollars for their courtesy and kindness and their assurance to take care of the damages. I would not take their offer to move our tiny storage because I figured what if they damage something else. we are actually losing money by hiring this company. I do not recommend this company at all. I wouldn't even accept a free move from them any longer (if they even offered that) with how we were treated...as if our valued things are none of their concern. we weren't asking for something unreasonable just to pay the price of the broken piece for us to order or them purchase the part that they broke themselves. My resolution was 50 dollars.
