In the hour and a half I spent leaving messages and requesting quotes no one returned my call. I finally found House N Box and noticed it was in nearby Hutto. I was greeted by Kevin, who was very friendly and professional. I was so excited to hear a person on the end of the line. He was able to get me booked for the following week. Because I was getting a pod and did not have the delivery time, Kevin scheduled me for between 1-5pm. I got a call a about 1230 and two guys arrived at 230. The guys were great! They carefully wrapped everything up and secured most of my items into the pod. They were there for three hour at $140 an hour. These two young kids even moved a really heavy outdoor fireplace and heavy appliances. Since I moved out of town, I hope I never have to call them up for help again. But I would absolutely recommend them t my friends and family.

I am so frustrated from this moving experience, im writing a freaking yelp review... Okay, i googled "movers near me" i stumbled upon edis at "the official moving company" we talked i jotted down the price $487.50 for 2 hours, 3 movers. This is a one bedroom on the first floor. The only furniture that's a pain was a couch, a dresser, a tv, a chair, and some tubs. Everything was already packed!! The sweet movers (his sons) came at 8:24. Totally fine, they got right to work and started wrapping everything in blankets. I told them "hey guys no need for all that, nothing i own is that important". They said okay, and nailed it. Place was cleared out fast. I felt really good about the movers and they were so polite. We get to the new house. They have to move the 4 pieces of furniture upstairs. I apologize, go and fold all their blankets, move tubs in to the garage, and move stuff upstairs with them. I make them togo ice waters and tip them $200. Remind you, the movers were amazing, and super professional and efficient. So it comes down to bill time, i went 30 min over 2 hours. He charged me $813.39 (4% cc processing fee included which i agreed to) His son called to talk about the bill, bc when i heard the total i was shocked! Edis was so rude on the phone, and i kinda feel like i got robbed. This was not a $1,000 move! I wish the actual movers all the best in life, bc they were sweet boys. Edis, you got me.... but i hope people read this and dont get swindled like i did.

We loved chatting with them. When it came time to move apartments locally in Austin, we called them again and they were available! Also, both moves they arrived exactly on time at 9 am sharp. Fair prices, took good care of our stuff, and worked hard fast (even in the heat)! 10/10 experience. I hope we don't have to move again, but if we do they will be the only people I call.

David, who manages the office and books the jobs did a fantastic job staying in contact with us and working with us to ensure the safety of my family as well as his team. The driveway to our complex was up a steep hill and covered in ice. We were able to reschedule for a move on Monday February 22nd with an early start time. Mojo and Emeka called about 15-20 minutes before arriving and took the instructions well to get to our hard to find apartment unit. They took a brief walk around the unit and decided a plan of attack. Then the clock started. While the move took longer than I had originally expected both of these guys worked hard the entire time. No breaks. No milking the clock. The only two breaks they took were once on the way to deliver when they stopped to pick up rehydration beverages, which they asked for permission to do first and did not charge us for, and the second time was when we offered them food and beverages while unloading. There was minimal/no damage to our property when all was said and done. There were a few marks made in the very narrow stairwell, which the owner promptly came out the next day and cleaned up himself. No knicks, divots, or scratches to any of the walls in our old apartment or the brand new built home we moved into. Before I continue I just want to give every customer a heads up, you can safe yourself and your movers a lot of time by prearranging everything before hand. Take apart beds, take apart sectionals, disconnect washers, dryers, and refrigerators. Anything you can do to make their job as simple as picking up the items and moving it into the truck. The prices they offered across the board by companies in Austin was higher than when I managed a moving company in Austin 13 years ago and even with that being said Jackson was the lowest bid I received and not to mention, their phone lines were never busy and communication was very easy. At the end of the day I was very pleased with the service from EVERYONE in the Jackson's Moving organization and will absolutely use them again in the future. Mojo, Emeka, David, Thurman Thank you all for your assistance throughout this whole ordeal.

So they only loaded the truck, I drove it across country and on the other side the unloaders could not believe how poorly it was loaded. Something as simple as stacking carboard boxes on top of heavy duty bins was missed. (see photos) They put my $60 target stools upside down so the legs were facing upwards and then put my chairs upholstery side down on those legs... they did this for BOTH of my living room chairs... (see photo) They HAD TRIED to put a mini fridge full on the inside on top of a crate and barrel wooden console with tiny thin legs. I made them NOT do that - much to their chagrin - while they walked all over it inside the truck. They ruined approximately $2000 worth of furniture. All in all - I lost more in damages than the loading even cost, got no help afterwards and I am lucky that I escaped with the damage I had - it could have easily been 2x-3x the amount had I let them stack the fridge on top of the other stuff. Probably assumed I went away, but - heres your yelp review.

I just call them and give them the new address and ask what they have available. They did move my sister recently who is an Executive with a well known Tech Firm so she had a moving concierge handling the logistics for her.
