Prowest did a fine job on our foam roof. I'm happy with the end result. However, I had to spend a couple hours on the weekend cleaning up the hundreds of little scraps of shingle & foam around the perimeter of the house. There was also masking tape in almost ever tree on my property. One even had a large sticky rag in it. I also detest that they required that I write a review in order to receive the maximum installation warranty (which is why I'm writing this). read more

And the saga continues. After getting a quote from another roofer, I found out that the tiles on my house are NOT discontinued as the contractor told me after he inspected my roof. An example of lying to get the business (a full roof repair) and have the insurance pay for it. Too bad they have to stoop so low. Obviously, I will not be paying for the Itel report because it was NOT needed. Beware! read more

I don't normally answer the door to solicitors but I was definitely in the market for a new roof and so I was willing to hear what the guys in the Prowest shirts had to say. I'm so glad I did! Kevin and his team did a great job of working with my insurance company and getting me all set up with a brand new roof! And they were very communicative and always professional which seems hard to come by these days. I highly recommend them for your roofing needs! read more

This company is great! I was in need of a new roof, and a friend referred me to Doug Calvert- (480) 343-4653. He was prompt, met me out and had his guys start right away! The roof was complete in a day, and he included a 5 year workmanship warranty and a 30 year material warranty! This is very important to have this! Very happy with this company! ;-) read more

Josh Kinser from Prowest took SUCH good care of me! He was available for questions related to my roof, the color, the insurance delays, fascia repair, and anything else. I'm very pleased with the experience and the sheer level of professionalism with Josh, and the entire Prowest team. read more

We've had Prowest replace two roofs for us. They both look beautiful and went on quickly. We worked with 2 different supervisors for the 2 projects who were very communicative and responsive to our needs and questions. There were a few things that went a little wrong (as sometimes happens) and Prowest was quick to make everything right. Would recommend again. read more

If you go anywhere else but here you will miss out on the best service ever. Eric Chandler our Project Manager was the absolute professional and honest person to work with. He did what he said he would do, in time, and we were kept informed regularly. He answered all questions and handled everything. We had to do very little. His team, wow what a group of guys. They were not only in time, efficient and cleaned everything up. To so much time and care for all our stuff in and around our yard. We can't thank you enough for all you have done. Eric I hope the company knows what a valuable asset you are. Thank you again and we will be referring for sure. Dan and Karen N.-Lake Havasu City, AZ read more

They were very fast and efficient. Easy to work with from start to finish. All my neighbors are jealous of my roof. Highly recommend them.

This morning pro west began pounding in my room a few minutes before 5am!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! We immediately stepped outside because we have a toddler and asked them to stop because it was too early and they COMPLETELY IGNORED US! I understand we live in Arizona but 5am is completely disruptive and completely rude!! We DID NOT receive any sort of notice what so ever. When and what time they would be here were not announced. They also Did Not let us know they would be coming Into our back patio and completely covering it in trash all over the things we had put there. This company needs a little more professionalism. read more

Mac was in the area doing a few of the neighbors roofs and came over to talk to us about the wind damage on our roof. We were well aware of the issue but all the roofers we kept finding we didn't have a good feeling about, but after talking to Mac we felt confident that Prowest was the right fit for us. He helped us along the process, was very informative about what exactly would be done, was always on time, and came out while the crew was working on the house to make sure everything was going as planned. The workers completed the job in a day and a half. The roof looks amazing. We highly recommend Prowest!! read more

ProWest - Roofing Near Me - Mesa, Arizona

Our experience with Pro West has been mercurial, erratic, and unreliable. About a year ago we had luck with a successful shingle roof build on our rental property. This encouraged us to hire them for another complete roof rebuild (foam roof) on our current residence. During the first attempt at the build, the application of the foam roof was lackluster / lazy at best. Inconsistent foam application and assurance from our PM that our roof build was completed. We found innumerable particulates of foam all over our patio, furniture, poolscape, cool deck, dog run, front and back deck, and just to be thorough, inside the pool. Pro West made zero attempt to clean up the blizzard of foam particulate that blanketed the property. We spoke with our PM, who agreed the entire rebuild needed to be completed all over again. He also sent out some laborers to attempt cleaning and to skim the pool (using a aquarium net meant for goldfish. Again, a laughable effort. Eventually, after weeks of promises to return to complete the scope of work, did we arrive at passable foam roof build. Pro West scheduled the rebuild on their time. The same week as the 2020 Spring Monsoon. The following day the newly applied foam roof was awash with unseasonably high volumes of rainfall. Again, foam particulate all over the patio, poolscape, cool deck, dog run, front and back deck, and again, inside the pool. So after multiple attempts we received a passable cleanup effort. So was the job over? Why would it be? Next, we had a fascia piece that Pro West agreed to replace in their original scope of work. Again, weeks of melodrama of "will they or won't they show up?" Always promises of "It'll be done this week" or no-call, no-shows, or surprise arrivals or, when someone did show up, we'd get questions about what the scope of work was. Then when it was time to paint the fascia, we'd go through weeks of "home depot couldn't provide" what amounted to a a 12 foot long piece of wood painted white (the fascia). One day a crew did show up. They applied the fascia, as is easily done by anyone with a home remodeling skillset. But not before teeter tottering the 70lb wood slat over our stucco fence and cracking the finish, for which they refused to own up to. After confronting two 6 foot, 200+ pound men with the impossible physics of their fairy tale, one excitable bloke voiced his hostility until the bald-headed foreman admitted they were at fault and would replace and repair the stucco damage. All in all this was a pretty painful process for a foam roof repair. I would recommend that the homeowner be present during the repair or rebuild to check their quality control. read more

We love our new roof thanks to Bok! He dealt with our insurance company and was an advocate for us with our solar company. He handled everything and kept us updated during the whole process. Steve Downs was awesome through the whole process of handling all the paperwork coordinating with the insurance company. He really went to bat for us after there was hidden damage got it covered so no extra out of pocket. We were updated on a delayed start of the project even though it was only a day it was great to be informed ahead of time so not left wondering. The crew was great getting everything cleaned up after the job was done. The roof looks great thank you Steve and Prowest would recommend to friends and family. read more

Working with Johnny and ProWest was a wonderful experience! I am President of a 14 building HOA community. I got 6 bids and ProWest's was significantly less than the other 5 and offered a better warranty! Johnny is the BEST to work with! Responsive - all hours and days. Great follow-up and follow-through. ProWest's crews were respectful and friendly. We ended up with a leak in one of the newly re-roofed buildings and Johnny and his crew were on it immediately. They worked with us to make this project as painless and smooth as possible. I would definitely recommend ProWest! read more

TOTAL NIGHTMARE.......My roof was damaged July 31st 2018 due to micro burst in the area. Mac from protest comes to evaluate and determined it needed replaced. After waiting 90 days they finally show up and complete my roof in 7 hours. 2000sq. 2 sky lights. 3 Whirlybirds birds. AC unit . And even completed a 400sq shop. I was so impressed. UNTIL THE FIRST RAIN: both sky lights leaked and the chimney "entire house flooded" and my entire shop was flooded with the drywall ceiling falling to the floor. 3 days before Christmas. They showed up AFTER CHRISTMAS and claimed they did all the repairs. SECOND RAIN: unbelievably it happened AGAIN, both skylights leaked (not as bad but it leaked) The Owner did reach out and gave me a 2500.00 check and came out the very next day after it happened the second time, he also sent another roofer to do the repairs a 3rd time. THIRD RAIN: MY ENTIRE SHOP DESTROYED. "ITS SUPER BOWL SUNDAY AND I'M STARING AT MY SHOP WITH A 30 X 30 TARP DRAPED OVER THE ENTIRE ROOF I HAVE MANY PICS AND VIDEOS IF ANYBODY WOULD LIKE TO VIEW I must say the owner did all he could to try to make things right but there's no way in Hell I can trust them again on my roof PRO WEST WILL NOT HAVE A 4th ATTEMPT and they get a BIG FAT F read more

We love our roof! I'm so glad that James knocked on our door to let us know he could get our wind damage covered by insurance. This is the worst company I have ever dealt with they are a fraud they told me they would go the extra mile to have the insurance company pay for my damaged roof. They did have an associate work with the insurance company but with doing this they charged double what the roof should cost. They were going to charge me double what the insurance was going to pay they billed me 34,000 for a roof that cost me only 19,000 with another roofer. They started the appraisal process with the insurance company and when I wouldn't pay their 34,000 their appraiser quit. So I just paid another roofer to do the work, and that was only $19,000. If the insurance had paid I would have still had to pay $22,000 to them. They just want to conn the insurance company, which I feel is so wrong. I am a 73 year old lady on own in a wheelchair, with MS and only one leg, so it is so mean to take advantage of the elderly. DO NOT TRUST THEM...THEY ARE CROOKS..... read more

Kevin Barnes and Rusty Kube were the two representatives from ProWest that I worked with during the course of the entire roof replacement for my house. The team did a great job on the front slope but failed on the back slope. Kevin Barnes came out to my house to assess the damages caused by the recent monsoon this year. They ensured the highest level of quality in their work and made promises that the work would be completed on time with clear and open communication. None of this was true, in fact, the complete opposite. The work was not completed on time, they didn't bother covering the exposed work with a tarp after leaving the job half done. To make things worse it rained the following day, which caused a large portion of the felt to wrinkle. Its been incredibly frustrating working with both of these individuals and the final result of the work from ProWest, speaks for their quality, a true Mickey Mouse job. The images speak for the lack of quality control that they promised. Save yourself time, money and headaches, skip this roofing company. read more

I posted on a group page on facebook and was contacted right away by Matt and other. Set up appointment and was flexible with three time. Roof was damaged by storms and they worked with reaching out to the ins company on spot and got claim rolling. Within a week or so had material ordered and on roof. Next couple days they started and finished in 1 day. Clean up was excellent and they even double and tripled check since I have dogs and a 6 yr old. Would highly recommend this company to do your roof. Thanks for the nice job all around. 5 stars here. read more

These guys came door to door searching for business! Very attentive before they get their money. Then they are slow to respond and after over 8 weeks we finally got our roof. Trying to finish up in the dark. Roofing materials sat for over a month before they came to do the roof. Tried to convince me to use screws to fix water damage in our garage instead of replacing sheet rock . Said it would be sufficient! Stay away from these scam artists! They have refused to send me an invoice for work done on our roof until I refused to sign off. Then the invoice is very vague! I would never recommend this company to anyone! read more

Called for an estimate to replace roof on a Friday, spoke w/Mac who took my contact information and said would call back on Monday or Tuesday following week to schedule time for an estimate. ProWest Roofing is the ONLY roofing company I would hire or recommend here in the Valley. I had a large, difficult and challenging project using both tile and custom fabricated metal roofing materials. Several well known roofing companies told me it couldn't be done, and several others wouldn't even try. Bob Schober and his company ProWest took the challenge, and did what no one else would even attempt. They were professional, and kept us in the loop every step of the way. All of the roofers, fabricators, construction guys and painters were friendly, helpful and very considerate about cleaning the job site at the end of every day. When they finished, the results exceeded our expectations. We are very proud of our custom roof. Great job Bob, and all the folks at ProWest! read more

Jordan and Allie were so great! I never thought that my insurance company would cover a replacement and I needed one bad. I was dreading monsoon season, but not anymore! Jordan told me not to worry and he was right! Full replacement! They handled everything and made what should have been a very stressful process absolutely seamless. I'm so glad I was home when they knocked. Very professional, knowledgeable, honest, and they do amazing work! Just a great company! Highly recommend! Unfortunately, my problem is rather complicated mainly involving Sunrun (solar company) but Prowest is apart simply because of the foul play left on my roof. In May 2021, Sunrun hired Prowest to complete the underlayment before the solar was installed. Prowest had their team come out and complete the job quickly but apparently broke roof tiles because once the job was complete, the very top cap stone of my house was dark red with a very light pink tiled roof. They also replaced a tile on the back side of the house with a dark almost purple tile, again, on a light pink roof. I sent photos to "Alex" who was going to come by the home to evaluate. He failed to do so. I contacted Sunrun to coordinate fixing this error before 1- the solar is installed 2 - the HOA sends a violation notice. I was told that there was a shortage in tiles due to COVID. BULL. My husband did a quick search on offerup and found plenty. Anyhow, Sunrun said that they would paint the tiles (they chose white on a pink roof) while waiting for Prowest to fix the issue. Here we are almost September and Sunrun is not returning my calls nor has anyone contacted me from Prowest. I own a business. I get it. Its tough right now finding quality people, but integrity is something that you should hold on to especially while the world is losing their grip on reality. Oh and I almost forgot....I have a violation notice from my HOA. Thanks guys! read more

I called these guys for a quote on a roof repair and I was quoted $1100. The day the guy came to fix it he only charged me $475. Initially we thought we needed to replace some underpayment but it was just the flashing around my chimney that had separated. I appreciate the honesty of these guys because quite honestly I wouldn't have known the difference. Thank you Prowest for a job well done. Several rain storms later and the leak is. Gone 2 thumbs up ! read more

Terrible Work!! I hired Prowest to repair my roof after a bad monsoon storm in August 2018. I requested that if any additonal decking needed to be replaced to let me know. I was never called, and the shingles were placed. When I got home the shingles we loose and the roof felt mushy in several places. I asked Gabe at Prowest why the roof was mushy and he said, that my decking wasn't attached to my roof joists and that they would have to move all of the decking to fix it. But they didn't fix it, they just put the shingles on. There was a storm the day after my roof was "replaced" and I had a huge leak and a bubble formed, then popped which caused a waterfall in my bathroom. They sent someone out to repair it (after several attempts to call and ask when they were going to show up). The work was terrible as well. I contacted Gabe at Prowest and they want paid regardless to their shotty work. My parents had their roof done first and were promised replacement parts on their roof that they never received to this day, and my brother also had his roof done and they put a hole in his front facia board with a hammer and was told it would be fixed. It has been several months and it still has not been repaired. All 3 of our roof's were being done around the same time. You have to keep calling and calling, and they promise to come out and they don't show at all!! Please DO NOT use this company, the will leave your roof in horrible conditions. I will be getting a second opinion on my roof, because of their terrible work which will probably have to be redone. read more
