A gentleman named Adam C "Project Manager" came to my home, read the no soliciting sign out loud, chose to knock because it said don't ring the bell. So he knocked on the door, and when I said no thanks there is a no soliciting sign he said we are not selling you anything, I repeated my self about the sign and closed my door, he then threw his card at the door and walked away. Funny part is there was no sign on the truck and I couldn't read a name on his shirt so I never would of known who he was you just told on your self Adam. All caught on the Doorbell Camera! Good Job Adam! Oh and did I mention we have seen this exact truck and man sitting out front the week prior. Rude, Disrespectful, uneducated on the word soliciting. I would never RECOMMEND PRO WEST LLC 1st impressions mean so much. read more

I had a sales rep knock on my door after a severe storm informing me of damage on my roof. I initiated an insurance claim in August and signed a contract with Prowest for the scope of work to cover the insurance items. I did inform them verbally that I also wanted to replace damaged fascia at the same time. I subsequently confirmed via text that they could replace damaged fascia. I had texted asking how we should proceed for identifying which fascia would be replaced but no response. The roof rebuild happened on September 26. Some fascia was already getting replaced so assumed that any needed fascia was getting fixed and we would settle up on costs later. At the end of the build, there were several sections of fascia that were in horrible condition including one section of board obliterated by termite activity. When doing the final walk through, I was assured this was an easy fix and someone could come back out subsequently to fix. After not having any luck getting Prowest to commit to actually coming to repair the fascia, I solicited quotes from multiple other roofing companies to fix the fascia. When I told them the roof was two weeks old, the roofers appeared baffled and less than interested to engage in something like this (I don't blame them). The contractors explained that this fix was much more invasive and involved than I had been led to believe originally during the final walk through. I was also advised that another contractor doing this work would likely void my roof warranty. Needless to say, after soliciting quotes from four other roofing companies, none were willing to engage given how new the roof was and the consensus and advice from them was to have Prowest make this right. I have subsequently tried working with the sales rep. He did get me under contract and I made a 50% deposit on the project (payment made on 10/25). However, I am now told that it could be a "LONG" time until they can schedule this repair. I am doing an entire home remodel and the painters have been on standby for weeks waiting for this to be resolved. I fear I will have to now paint the house with horrible looking fascia until I can get this repair done, then re-hire painters to come back out. I am giving one extra star as the sales rep has been very responsive even amid this issue, but doing business overall with this company has been a huge headache given the fascia issue that they are not making right. read more

Tom and Mick from Prowest are top notch from start to finish for our full roof replacement. Trying to get a roofer with several other companies to show up on time to provide an estimate was more difficult than it needed to be (before Covid-19). I saw Prowest endorsed by a neighbor on Nextdoor and I reached out to them. Tom and Mick were always prompt, professional, and delivered on services agreed upon. Any minor hiccups were resolved promptly and with a central commitment to customer focus. The insurance company only wanted to pay for a small part of our roof based on my initial estimate, but being in the business I understood it warranted full replacement. After firing another roofing company for no call no show Prowest picked up our claim without missing a beat. Inspected, photographed and documented all storm related damage and were able to get the full roof replacement paid for by the insurance company. They dealt directly with the insurance company on our behalf (with our approval) so that made it MUCH easier to carry on day to day without having to make calls and explain what we needed. The roof install started at 5:30am and the roofers wrapped up at 7:30pm the same day. We were very grateful for their hard work during a very busy and HOT day. By all accounts they were on task and detailed in their duties the entire day. They also did a great job cleaning up after themselves when they left. We could hardly tell they were there aside from the fantastic new roof that we've gotten multiple compliments on! They made something very stressful and confusing at times a much more pleasant experience and we fully endorse the company's employees and workmanship. We couldn't be happier or more appreciative we chose them. Do yourself a favor and start with Prowest if you need anything. Take care everyone. read more

Came to my house and put a ladder going up to my roof. I asked them what they were doing as I didn't have any work scheduled to be completed by this company. They couldn't answer as none of them spoke English. They laughed in my face, pointed at the ladder, and said "No Work No Work" and kept staring at me like I was an idiot. I told them if they can't tell me what they are doing on my roof, I'm calling the cops. The guy laughed at me again, spoke some Spanish to another guy in his crew, and one said "other house". I assume that meant they had the wrong house, but kept standing there with a ladder on my roof, staring at me. I told them "okay I'm calling the cops" but they just kept standing there. I called the cops so they could hear me and they packed up and left. Shadiest thing I've ever experienced. Katie: The language barrier wasn't the main issue here. I've hired many Spanish speaking professionals and have not had issues like this. The issue is, they were flat out rude. Laughing in my face and staring at me like I'm an idiot is not professional. They wouldn't leave my property. It was the most disrespectful encounter I have experienced. Thanks. read more

Sean Davis was amazing to work with, as was Blake Langford. We had to grind the battle axes with our home insurer and they were in lockstep with us every step of the way. The roofers were prompt and did an amazing job on our roof- I can now let the rain fall and not worry that it was going to deep into the thin layer of cover where the 56mm shingles blew off from the last hard wind storm we had! If you are in need of a new roof or just want to see what's out there, I can't recommend this company enough...... they've been in business for over 20yrs so they are able to move with the ebbs and flows of the economy, as well, Sean was a dream to work with- professional, communicative and experienced. Prowest for the win! read more

I sent out a roof repair request and within an hour I got a response back and about two hours I got a call from Nathan and scheduled a time for him to come out. He came and took a look at our roof and spent about 5 minutes and fixed the tile that slipped. I was expecting to pay a bit for those 5 minutes for him to fix it and he said no it's on us which I really appreciate! Definitely recommend them to anyone who had an unexpected leak and are not sure of the cause. read more

Honestly, I had high hopes for this company. They were quick to respond and quick to schedule an in person visit. But after the initial fight against our insurance company, and of course no luck with the insurance company budging for assistance. ProWest truly dropped the ball. Cons: -Company said they would follow up to do the minor repair the insurance company was seeking. -Company never followed up and we had to call them at least once a week for an update. -Company said an expected time frame as to when they think they can do the repair. But no response via phone or text. Honestly I felt like we got ghosted. -Called the main line with the company to complain about no communication with our contractor and honestly felt no remorse. No apologize and didn't have a solution to elevate our complaint. **I truly felt that since the insurance company did not grant us a new roof, ProWest felt that our project was just chump change and didn't think it was worth following up or making it a priority. And with that result, we have more issues with our roof no thanks to them. The only positive I will say is that they were very thorough with the initial visit, taking photos, chalking out the areas that needed repair and really going to battle for us with the insurance company. Would have liked to have written a better review, but maybe ProWest needs to take a better look at how you communicate with your customers and actually follow up with them and schedule repairs. An apology wont cut it anymore. Seeing a result would make a huge difference. read more

Took care of everything with great communication and expertise. Thanks Lucas!

This is an awesome company -- Josiah and Jeff are both great to work with. They made my first re-roofing job as easy as it could be. These two guys and their contractors were competent, efficient, and did great work. ProWest was extra helpful in dealing with my insurance company, making life a lot easier for me. They also managed the removal and reinstallation of solar panels and inside water damage repairs. I would absolutely recommend them. read more

This ProWest Roofing company is not only your typical run of the mill "storm chaser" but they are also incredibly pushy. After ignoring our NO SOLICITING signs and still knocking on our door (un-masked during pandemic) no less than SIX times in less than 3 weeks and being told in no uncertain terms that we are "not interested" and literally had to be told (repeatedly) to LEAVE our property the first and fourth time, I checked with all of my neighbors and all of them have the same complaint. In fact, one of my neighbors happens to be an insurance adjuster and warned me about their track record within the insurance companies. A second neighbor told me that their No Soliciting sign specifically names ProWest which is brilliant and has officially been added to ours. read more

Best experience I've had with a contractor in recent memory. Historically, I hate having to find to a good person to do work on my home, either worried about them making a mess, giving me an initial quote and the final quote being higher, etc. I had a great experience, the owner spent time explaining the process to me, ensured the job got done quickly and it turned out looking beautiful with minimal stress to me. Since my roof was replaced I have referred ProWest to other family/friends and they have all had similar experiences. If you need a roof replaced, don't waste time checking every place. Just use ProWest and you'll be happy. read more

We worked with ProWest Roofing after a major wind/hail storm damaged our roof in early 2021. It's obviously a big decision when it comes to hiring roofing companies...not like can just return the product if you're not happy (not to mention a lot of interaction with the people involved!) Fast forward to now: we have a roof that is PERFECT (and believe me they ran across a few hidden gotchas with our project). Their crew was amazing; to use the cliche...a well oiled machine. I was shocked at how quickly they had the old roof removed, addressed the surprises, had a plan, and had a new roof in place. We dealt with Michael Ronn and Andrew Byrd, and they were knowledgeable, straight ahead and helped us navigate through the maze of dealing with our insurance company. When the roofing portion was done, Michael was even up on the roof attending to a few last minute details. We also had some interior damage (2 rooms) and they sent Bobby Kirk out to paint our large living room and bathroom. Once again, total pro and amazing work. Honestly, I dreaded dealing with the sea of jokers you find in the roofing business, but we got very lucky. Great people, solid company to deal with, outstanding product. Would not hesitate to use again! read more

My wife and I were on vacation in July 2018 during a good amount of the month. If you're a fellow Arizonan, you know this is peak "Monsoon Season". We had a friend check on our home toward the end of the month only to find some rather large leaks in our master bedroom, a guest bedroom, and living room. I immediately remembered talking to a neighbor in our community who said he worked for ProWest Roofing. I called Jeff Guthrie and explained the issue. Within an hour, he was at our home (without us being out of town) and put tarps on the roof to prevent further damage. Once we got back in town, I sent Jeff a message so that we could meet. He met me on my lunch break and had showed up early to get measurements to provide an accurate quote. He knew I had a short amount of time available and was able to chat and provide info, along with me still being able to eat lunch. After Jeff reviewed our roof and internals, he said that the there were new City of Phoenix codes in place that would prevent him from replacing the roof without replacing the wood underneath the shingles. We discussed the issues at hand, and with Jeff's assistance, he helped me file my claim with my insurance as the 2018 Monsoon Season had caused extensive amounts of wind damage. He explained and showed evidence of the shingles being broken off, issues where the decking failed, and areas where mold had begun forming. Fast forward 3 months - My new roof is beautiful and safe, my insurance company has covered my roof (with Jeff's assistance), and my wife and I are extremely happy! We are truly thankful for Jeff Guthrie of ProWest Roofing and would strongly suggest you do business with them. With their guidance, expertise and complete follow-thorough, you'll feel like you're their only customer during the entire process. Thank you Jeff & ProWest! You guys are lifesavers! read more

We had a great experience working with PROWEST! Anthony guided us through the process and made the whole experience painless - even considering we went through insurance! We had a really tough time picking a shingle color and he was extremely patient and gave us a list of homes that had been recently redone so we could see what the colors looked like beyond the sample boards. The installation crew was really quick and very clean. There was a guy who was dedicated to cleaning throughout the project to ensure they didn't leave a mess, which we were impressed by. They even installed vents to match the new color of the roof which was a nice touch. All in all we were very happy that we chose PROWEST and would recommend them to friends/neighbors! read more

Like Dorothy in the Wizard of Oz, my roof took off with one of the recent monsoons. The morning after the storm when I saw the extent of the damage, on the recommendation of my neighbor, I called Prowest. Best Decision. Ever. They came out first thing that day, inspected the roof, explained the extent of the damage and provided temporary repairs to keep the roof secure and watertight. They worked directly with the insurance company going so far as to speaking directly with the adjuster and providing updates. Once the replacement was approved, I received a date for materials delivery and repair. The day of the install they were there first thing and took great care of the property (covered my landscaping front and back with drop cloths) and when I returned home, it took my breath away. The roof looks amazing, the clean up, immaculate - both front and back. I could not be more pleased. I appreciated everything they did to make the experience as simple and worry-free as possible. Fast, responsive, clean and professional - I had complete peace of mind every step of the way. Totally recommend these guys - there's nothing better than feeling like your concerns and your property matter. Thanks to Bob and the amazing crew at Prowest! read more

My experience with this company has not been a good one. I started this process in May of 2021 after a guy named Dean came to our door and told us we had some wind damage and could get insurance to repair and replace our roof. Our roof did need a repair and there was a sag on the tresses I was wanting to get fixed since we bought the home. This was a win win. Over the next few months, Dean would show up unannounced (which really creeped out my wife) and ask for checks or a signature instead of making sure I was there or at least making sure it was communicated clearly. I blame myself for not being more involved, but these guys are supposed to be professionals and some of the best in the Phoenix area. When the work finally started after a couple different rescheduling times and miscommunication, they wanted to do the entire roof in one day. I know this might be common but it's 0400 to like 1900 in June and they decided to reschedule for a Saturday instead of what was originally agreed upon. I have kids, pets, etc.... it was amazingly loud and no one prepared us for any of this nor explained (again, my fault for not asking more questions). No one on the crew spoke any English, so there was no communicating while they were there and if there was a foreman, I never saw him. I think Dean was in charge, but he didn't come by that day at all. I decided to text him and ask about spots that weren't a painted (I was quoted and charged for painting), and they replaced part of the 2x6 on the perimeter but not all. Didn't paint those either, only replaced some of the plywood (no paint), but didn't communicate any of this. I took pics and sent and asked for an explanation. I had to scrape and paint the 2x6's that were plain dead/rotted as I was doing a re-fi at the same time and thought it was going to be done by the professional roofers that I hired. After a lengthy discussion with Dean, he agreed that "someone" should have had the conversation of replacing any of the dead/rotted areas as it was a full roof replace/fix/repair. If I'm going to get this done I want to get it done right so I don't have to mess with it for another 15-30 years. No one has been back to paint, to repair, replace. He told me that we needed to finish the original contract and then we could make up another one for the 2x6 trim around the outside of it. I was born in the day.... but not yesterday. If I give them the last check, I won't see them again.... I can promise you that. Since that talk, the only message I received was from Dean telling me that USAA sent me a check and to let him know when he could be by to get it. I was so pissed off...first of all, I didn't receive it yet. No one has come by to fix anything else and you have requested full payment as well as the signature of completion. The bullshit was too thick, I told him I only wanted to see his boss at this point. I finally got the check and I'm actually sending it to my mortgage company today to get their approval. No one from upper management has reached out to me like I requested and in fact at one point Dean complained that this might get him fired. At one point Dean even told me that he would come out and paint the chimney himself..... really man? You mean you'll do what you are supposed to do? The one pic below shows a crack in a part of the overhang that he said they didn't do either. This entire thing was just plain shady and I would not recommend this company to anyone. The entire experience has left a bad taste in my mouth. If you are going to do a job, you do it right. If you don't do it right the first time, you have time to do it again. As a business you need to make things right, you have not. read more

Prowest roofing @ 724 W. University Dr. in Mesa , Arizona charge me for a roof repair at the direction of their project manager Josh Kinser who since has quite the company as directed by office personnel Stephanie. The repair was made and the workers left several most of the material in the front yard for 12 days before the project manager returned for the balance of the payment. I then pointed out to the project manager the used materials off my roof that the workers used instead in repairing my roof. Josh indicated the workers ensured him the repair was done as directed but later recanted his statement. I returned the remaining materials with Josh to later discover after a heavy rain the leak in my home was not repaired from their efforts. when I reached out to Prowest to request assistance under their warranty. I got two different Prowest inspectors to come out to inform me the leak in the same location was not a warranty issue. Prowest made some sort of a repair that did not work so they submitted another quote to repair a number of different items on the roof with a no intentions of reimbursement for their failed attempt. Just couldn't rate them higher, under the circumstances. Prowest was the 2nd of 3 roofing companies we contacted to give us an estimate on repairing our garage roof, which had been torn off, July 17th, in a severe storm. There were no fewer than 3 times the Prowest estimator pressured us to sign a contract - WITHOUT a written estimate (??!). The 1st company came out, explained what they saw was needed and gave us a written estimate. Prowest was the 2nd company. The last company to come out, explained what they saw was needed and gave us a written estimate. The insurance adjustor finally came out Aug 6th. When we got the insurance estimate, we forwarded it to all the roofing companies we saw. Prowest's estimator called and, AGAIN, tried to get us to sign a contract - WITHOUT A WRITTEN ESTIMATE! That's when we told him that we DID get written estimates from the other companies and we'd be happy to hire Prowest, but we needed a written estimate. The Prowest estimator stated, "Well, our estimate is going to be higher." And he went on to explain why. The call ended with me texting the estimator my email address, so he could submit HIS estimate. THAT Prowest estimate NEVER came. By this point, we were feeling VERY uncomfortable about Prowest. Don't ask for fascia to be replaced, you wont get what you want/need. No prior plans given to you to make sure everything that is needed or wanted to be replaced will actually get replaced.
