I'm a contractor and usually handle anything to do with my house myself. I tried getting my insurance to pay for my roof but kept lowballing the roof damage and I couldn't get them to approve a full replacement. I got stuck. Knocking at my door came Quinton from Hailco. After some warming up, I allowed him to step in and take over the claim. Within a couple of months they got the insurance company to pay for the entire roof. Once it was approved, the crew did a great job -- clean, professional, and finished on time. Quinton made the insurance battle easy, and the install was solid. Highly recommend Hailco Roofing, especially if you're dealing with a difficult claim. read more

This morning, Sunday, August 16th, 2026. Pino arrived to replace 25 broken tiles and repair the southeast corner of my home by the driveway. The storm caused some damage to my roof and uprooted a large tree in my backyard. It also broke a window on my wife's Toyota RAV4. The block-cylinder fence separating my neighbor's yard and mine. The monsoon storm damaged my home and several other homes in the neighborhood last Sunday, August 9th. Afterward, Pino cleaned up both the front and back of my yard. He did a very good job. I would highly recommend Pino if you need your roof repaired. I live in SAGE CREEK. You can find me on Nextdoor under my wife, Connie Warden, if you have any questions concerning Pino. Thank you, Clay Warden read more

Quinton is the most honest roofer let alone contractor I've ever had. I had 3 guys come out and shove insurance down my throat with only 2 missing shingles. Never showing me a photo, explaining the problem, or giving me any other solution rather than trying to get me to sign their contract. I was about to give up and fix the problem myself when I was referred Hailco by a neighbor. Quinton came out, was professional, and diagnosed the issue as an easy fix. Within 2 hours of meeting the fix was made. Thank you again to Hailco Roofing if you are looking for a honest and reliable company I highly recommend both Quinton and Hailco Roofing. read more

Warning: These folks were going door to door in Chandler and happened upon my 87-year-old mother-in-law and had her sign a contract for a $33,000 roof despite the fact that her current roof is only four years old, has no damage and is still under warranty. To top off the elderly exploitation, after they collected the $8,300 deposit, they had her sign on the line waiving her right to cancel so the work could get done faster..on a roof with no damage and still under warranty. read more

Quinton helped navigate me through both the insurance process and my roofing project. He was very communicative and knowledgeable.

I had some minor damage after a storm. I called Hailco Roofing late in the afternoon the next day. The guy that answered was super friendly and helpful. Within an hour I had a text from Quinton saying he would stop by at 7:30. I loved that he reached out to give me updates on his arrival time. By the time he got to me it was on the dark side but he still insisted on going up and taking a look. Since the damage was very minor he was able to fix it within a few minutes time. He was polite, friendly and professional. I was super impressed with the entire experience. I will absolutely call Quinton if I need any roof repairs or replacements in the future. Great company, great guy! read more

All worked out with my roof replacement including panel removal and re-install. Michael Ortiz was truly a gentleman, remarkable leader, and really good at what he does. His patience with me was phenomenal. Brandon too! He was the calm to my storm through this process. I will certainly recommend your company any opportunity I get. Wishing you all and your company much success. Thank you! read more

In a world that takes advantage & preys on people in need for roof repair/replacement, call Hailco Roofing. They definitely came to my rescue! This roofing project took several months to complete as there were many barriers. Mitch & Hailco company were very professional, very kind, & very patient, & most of all very thorough from start to finish. I am limited physically and was stressed out as my roof was extremely damaged from several micro bursts & rain damage. The Hailco team communicated with my insurance company to make sure my claim was addressed from start to finish & pushed thru any barriers that came our way. The roofers treated me with respect & finished their job in 1 day! They cleaned up very well after themselves as well. My roof is beautiful & safe now. Mitch made sure everything was completed from the beginning to the end smoothly. If you have been preyed or mistreated by roofing companies, your best bet is to call Hailco & specifically ask for Mitch; a family man who is conscientious & is empathetic to people like me who are at the mercy of securing a safe roof. I guarantee you too will have the same experience I had with this wonderful company. I implore you to call Hailco to make your life easier & more relaxed while your roof is handled by a seriously competent team of people. Thank you Hailco! Thank you Mitch for seeing this project from beginning to end making my roof whole again. I so appreciate you! read more

Great install labor and materials. Smooth coordination at a competitive price. Tanner was transparent, honest and got everything done on schedule as promised. They were a big help dealing with my insurance company. I highly recommend this company. read more

TL;DR? I paid Hailco 100% of the money to do 100% of the roof repair, and DO IT CORRECTLY, and months later I am STILL fixing their work, because the owner, Tanner refuses to fix their screw ups, of which there are many, as he'd rather bs me. I may get into that later in this review. The first red flag was when Jay, the salesman from Hailco, walked up my driveway trying to sell me something. My spider sense was tingling, but I went along, not knowing how hard I would be screwed, later. I feel that they target seniors and veterans, btw. Another giveaway was when Jay said, "Let us do what we do." and used the word "FREE"; "Free shingle upgrade," "Free roof inspection." I had no idea that what they do is scam seniors and chase storms. FFS, It's in their name! I was also promised by Jay that I could have GAF shingles, my preference, but once they had ALLLL of my money I had to use their product. That's another thing. Hailco DEMANDED ALL OF THE MONEY, upfront, including the deductible, and wouldn't even put materials on site until they had ALLLLL of the money. Talk about bad faith. I was lied to about that, too. "As soon as we have your deductible, we will be starting the job." Hailco had ALL of my money, including my deductible, and it was another MONTH before they dropped off material. On to the screw ups. 1. The roof top air conditioner, which was previously bolted to the roof trusses, was left loose, and the roof "technician" lied to me and told me that "It's heavy, it's not going anywhere." Seriously? Then why is it required by code to be bolted down in the first place? 2. The ENTIRE REAR ROOF IS DONE WRONG. The entire roof over the screened patio is wrong. It is a 0.8 in 12 pitch, and IKO, the roof tile manufacturer, will NOT warrant the roofing at all. I know. Its on their website. I have talked to them directly. Anything less than four in twelve has limited warranty, and less than two in twelve has none. 3. The brand new vents that I installed prior to Hailco's work were powder coated brown from the factory, but for some reason, the installers decided to paint them with some tan flat paint, that is already failing. 4. They didn't install a roof ridge vent over the garage, as required by code. 5. The did NOT tape the existing vents for the dryer and range hood. 6. They left literal pounds of nails all over the property, including the driveway and carport. This job was finished months ago and I am STILL picking up nails. 7. They did not install the Solar tube skylight correctly. They really screwed that up. It's really a simple thing, yet Tanner went on like installing one is like performing brain surgery. There are like six bits, and the instructions are written for a homeowner. How do you mess that up?! After thirty odd years dealing with contractors, this is absolutely the worst experience that I have ever had, bar none. Painters, carpenters, electricians, roofers, concrete guys, et. al. read more

Do not hire this company... for any reason. I never called these people - and never would! Mike Lay a "project manager" came up my driveway UNINVITED. There are 2 signs on both of my light posts at the beginning of my driveway that nicely say: "NO SOLICITING". If you go past them, you already are violating the law. Then my yard has a large, bright green sign that says the property is protected by video surveillance 24 hours/day. That is in case someone comes up my walkway and not the driveway, but you can still see it from the driveway. If that isn't enough, there are two red and, white bold signs (as shown) that you can't possibly miss as you walk up to the door. They both tell you that you are not wanted! This guy decided they don't apply to him. People leaving things, sends a clear message to others that no one is home (even if you are) and invites a home invasion from others. I got notification from my video doorbell, that most know many have today - that someone was there. I turned on the mic, but my voice didn't come through. It doesn't matter. In the text message, he even says "he was startled by the camera and didn't see anything UNTIL he was leaving. That by itself is a lie, but still he admits he saw it and left the card and a flyer anyways - despite the signs! So think about it. If a company isn't willing to respect you and your wishes before you hire them... do you think they will listen if they are hired? Certainly at least 1 reviewer here who hired them, found they don't! Now, I don't have a roofing problem and certainly wouldn't take part in a scam against the insurance company and then have my rates go up. So at best, he could see I have no problem, but wanted to sell something that is not cheap anyway! Would you trust a company like that? Anyway, when I got home, I was absolutely upset that this guy looked right at my camera and left his trash anyway trying to get me to take part in a scam or buy something I don't need. Part of my roof was replaced about 5 years ago, and the rest shortly before. I called him at the number on his cell. Yes, I was upset - but also told him I was recording the call. All he wanted to do was whine, argue, complain and talk over me. Not a good sign or idea when someone is already upset at you. He had the nerve after I hung up and told him not to contact me or come back, to text me.... so I included the message, so you can see I am not making this up. 1. Notice the number is the same as on his card so not made up. 2. He says he didn't see anything NOT AT ALL, but until he was leaving - which first is a lie, and 2nd admits that he knew he was breaking the law, because instead of taking his trash, he actually walked back to secure it better! 3. He says that he has many custo- mers that "have no Soliciting signs." So he admits that he has disrespected the wishes of others - not just me. Again, do you want a company that does not listen to you? 4. Then he says, "he is out in the heat and you get 'wore' down, and he just wasn't paying attention." First, he is lying... again. He already said he saw the signs when he was leaving, but left his trash anyway. 2nd... he is a roofer! Roofers are out in the heat - that is neither a news flash in AZ. nor an excuse. Even if he claims he isn't a roofer (which he didn't) but a project manager (or salesman) is that a reason to say he wasn't paying attention? Do you want roofers who don't pay attention? Sounds like a bad combination to me... and again apparently to at least 20% of reviewers. I actually years ago did door to door sales, so it isn't that I don't know what it is like. As I told him, if you don't like the heat, get a different job, or work in a different part of the state where it is not so hot. Either way, it is no reason to break the law. It is no reason to disrespect the published wishes of a consumer and property owner. It is no reason to lie. Altogether, what it is, is lots of reasons to stay away from this company. As always, that is the truth! read more

This is not about the roofing job that was done next to my home, it is about the lack of consideration of my property. I have a cemented area next to the house which they worked on. I had my truck parked on that area. They left my truck with excessive '"dust" from the removal of the old shingles, plus some shingles fell on my cemented area and left a tar-like stain. Noise was expected from equipment used to remove old shingles, yet they had music "full blast" as to listen over noise the equipment made. My concern was more of the stain that was left on my "driveway", I called them and was transferred to another person that never returned my call! I am disabled and have now cleaned the stain with difficulty!! All they should have ask me to move my truck, cover part of my driveway1 They did cover their clients' plants and etc. read more

The roof on my mother's house in Sun City West sustained storm damage. I spoke with Tanner Sewell of Hailco Roofing who was working on the house next door. I found him to be knowledgeable, articulate, personable, and very straight forward in his communication. He has worked with many insurance adjusters and is skilled at providing detailed info to them, making approvals more likely. In our case, he was able to open the claim and provide all the information needed to get it approved. The work was done in a reasonable amount of time. i would use Hailco again in the future as they were very easy to work with. read more

Here's a company you can trust. Jay Adrion the Project Manager, Abigail Lebsock, Project Coordinator and Paul Gannon, Production Manager, kept us informed and updated throughout the process. On the day of installation when an issue with a solar water heater was encountered, Paul worked to find a solution for us with no additional out of pocket cost or delay. What a great team! They are all-stars in my book. The finished product looks great. You can't go wrong choosing HailCo for your roofing needs. A special thank you to Paul who went above and beyond my expectations. read more

Jay was knowledgeable and thoroughly explained everything I needed to know. A great company, will use again.

My roof was still the original from 1981. Bryson was my contact and he was completely Professional...but at the same time NOT robotic or phony. We literally got to know each other just because he is so personable and friendly. Due to the cancer and death of my wife I was left in a bad financial state ( I was her sole caregiver at home where she dies in my arms) - but Bryson was able to arrange it so my Insurance covered the roof! There is NO WAY at this time I could have afforded the roof and it was in desperate need of replacement. Thank you Bryson for working with me and making it so I could have this done. AND...it was all done in ONE DAY!!! If anyone reading this needs the roof replaced...CALL Bryson at HAILCO!!! read more

Tanner Sewell of Hailco Roofing came out and explained to me what needed to be done to my roof and why it needed replacing after being damaged by hail. The Claims adjustor asked for several items with regard to the claim. Tanner did everything he asked for: Tanner removed a sample shingle and left it for the adjustor to pick up. He provided a complete estimate; he provided proof that he could no longer get 1-tab shingles. He did all of this without asking for money. He called the adjustor and spoke to him directly to explain what was going on with my roof. My claim was ultimately approved, and Tanner has replaced my roof. He was always easy to reach, kept in touch, followed through on everything, and told me I don't need to make payment of my deductible until my insurance company finishes making payment on my claim. My new roof looks amazing. His crew was fast, neat, and very professional. read more

We worked with Hailco to fix our roof after a storm a year ago. The crew was highly unprofessional and let the dogs out of the yard multiple times. They did a terrible job. they shingled over the gas vent from the dryer. they messed up the duct work for the AC. They have not provided us with the final inspection and warranty. They have come out three times to repair leaks but have not fixed any of the damage caused by their ineptitude. They took money from the insurance that was itemized for other repairs and refuse to make any of this right. they have publicly been abusive to us and refused to take responsibility for the damage they've done and the fraud they've perpetuated by stealing from our insurance and us. They did such a poor job on the roof that the vent and hvac companies that had to fix the messes they made didn't believe they were licensed and told us to report HAILCO. They did not install the roof properly, they diverted insurance funds, they have treated us horribly, the house needs extensive repairs now due to water damage from their poor work and they refuse to make any of it right. The house is in far worse shape than before they made repairs. read more

Follow up on roof replacement. We hired HailCo Roofing to assess and replace the storm damaged roof on our home. We hired them because of the community service demonstrated by their folks...replacing shoddy tarps on our elderly neighbors roof even though our neighbor was contracted with another company. They spent their own time and materials, without any compensation expected to safeguard our neighbor. And it was a good thing, because another storm passed through and their tarps held up. Our roof is now completed and these folks did a lovely job with lots of attention to detail and very courteous and respectful crew. Our interactions with the project manager, Brandon Cook and the owner, Tanner Sewell were first rate. We had certain considerations about the materials and payment schedules, and they bent over backwards to accomodate our comfort levels. Their in-house adjuster met with our insurance adjuster and they spent nearly two hours going over every facet of storm damage. Our claim was approved without adjustment. The project manager and the owner continued to follow up during the work and after completion to assure that we were completely satisfied. So, if you are looking for an honest roofer who takes personal care of your project, do not hesitate to request a bid from HailCo Roofing. read more
