After noticing a series of leaks in our ceilings, I went up on the roof and noticed cracked tiles as well as a badly decayed underlayment. I obtained quotes from several roofers, but after visits and quotes I decided to go with Weather Tech Roofing, based on a very reasonable quote and a clear written explanation of the project and a discussion of the various options available for replacing the underlayment. Joe noticed an additional problem to the patio and deck roofs which the other companies had missed and included it in the quote. Joe and his team did a fantastic job. Joe from Weather Tech Roofing responded quickly to my request but it did take a few days because of the weather problems that we had with a 60 mile an hour winds in AZ, but him and one of his workers came by three days later to inspect my roof. He was very courteous, polite and professional, to explain what was required to accomplish, fixing the concrete tiles that flew off the roof or slabs. Jesus, his water came by the very next day and completed the job in a few hours. Would I hired this company again, yes. They quality work in record time. Plus they work is two year guarantee and five year warranty. This home was built in 2022 by DR Horton Express Home." says that it is a natural disaster not workmanship problem". I contacted a number of roofing companies, and heard a number of pitches before selecting Joe and Weather Tech. Joe was responsive, genuine, very knowledgeable and explained the exact process of refoaming and repair necessary given the age and condition of my roof. He took pictures to show me what he was referring to and did not try to pressure me at all. So many of the other roofers ran the "if you commit now, I can give you a discount" game, but not Joe. He told me to think about it and call him if I had any questions. His quote was extremely reasonable. As a matter of fact, the company that came right before him quoted me more than double for the same roof, same job, same materials. More than double. When I committed to using Joe, he gave me a schedule and followed it exactly. He would text in advance to let me know when his roofer would be arriving. After the roof was done, I had moved some AC venting into the roof during a remodel and asked Joe if he could come back and flash and foam around the venting, which he said he'd be happy to do, and again, his roofer came exactly as scheduled. As first time home buyers, needing roof repairs was very intimidating. When Joe reached out to us regarding our roof, he was very accommodating! I contacted them for a total roof replacement, he came out promptly and we talked. My roof was complicated by the fact that we have a solar system living up there, but he said he had a guy who could remove and reset the system so he could do the roof. They had just replaced our neighbors roof and did a great job (I watched) and we wanted to use them. After a couple days I hadn't receive their proposal and so we moved on. In a followup phone call a couple weeks later he indicated he did send it, twice, and sent me a screen shot of it. I got that and he sent the proposal again, which I received this time - both email and text. So, I don't know what happened to the initial sending I didn't receive it, or I didn't see it. I did double checked my texts and emails, including my junk folder but I didn't find a trace of them - lost in cyber space I guess. At any rate it's too late now, but no doubt they would have done a great job. I know my neighbor is totally happy with her new roof. read more

Needed repair or reroof Yelp contractors: phone call highest priced estimate $40,000- 1,000 square-foot house 10 year warranty. Lowest price was $7,200 using tar paper. Research before hiring. Didn't want the synthetic underlayment titanium 50 year product on an Arizona roof researched revealed. Received bid from company for $9,700 with that product by the sales person on commission does the estimates/inspections explained their warranty was 10 years even though the product was 50 yearsmanufacturer would pay for it if it went bad. Weather Tech Roofing was the lowest bid. My discussion with Joe/owner, the rubberized asphalt was what I wanted for still under $10,000 with 30 year warranty by product & 5 generation roofer family business. ROC license is ACTIVE! Did not use Weather Tech's solar co referral as is a separate company. Joe works with any company and I chose my own highly rated company. I put both companies in touch with each other and they worked very very well with each other. Weather Tech Roofing reroofed the whole roof and ignored where all of the solar panel mounting brackets were. Flashing was thrown away by solar co. WTR turned my roof back into a roof that does not have solar - this was very alarming to me. I put two companies together that never worked together before. The new solar mounting brackets angle and sliver under the tiles, so the tiles do not need to be cut. WTR is able to give the best price because of being a small roofer family business with great employees with no commissions. Customer has 4 options of product to choose from. Basically only 2 options -best or cheapest. Best is rubberized asphalt 30 year warranty or cheapest tar paper of only 10 year warranty. Bids I received from the other companies lowest price for the cheapest material was WTR price for the best material & warranty! Work done: moved tiles, pulled up wood pieces/tar paper, cleaned plywood, manufacturer defect half inchx3 feet gap in plywood and replaced with a new snug piece, rolled new rubberized asphalt, new wood sticks, installed new aluminum tops of portholes for dryer bathroom attic vents, reset good tiles & new tiles to the backside, re-cemented the cap ends, inspected area and left clean, done in 3 days AND On the days promised!, took down the old bird stop & put up new. The price quote I received for materials and work ordered was the invoice i paid after job was completed. No surprises. Plywood that needed to be replaced was part of the quote. Employees were respectful. All the nails were cleaned up. Solar company used polyurethane for mounting brackets and warranty was approved by Joe after inspection. Joe was always available for all of my questions and concerns and him and the company employees made all of their scheduled appointments on time. I have no complaints about Joe or Weather Tech Roofing. Joe is one of the most decent honest people I have ever met in my life, which is funny because he had the lowest alarming price that I initially thought was a scam.
