I decided to come back here even though the previous time, the guy doing my nails cut me while filing my nails. I figure I'd give it another whirl with a different person. Although I was happy I didn't leave with any cuts, the gel color finish was horrible, it was thicker at the ends (reminded me of a duck), and i was supposed to have glitter on my ring fingers and she completely forgot in the end. Emily was supposed to do a coffin shaped nail and I have no clue what she was doing I usually go to a nail salon in Anaheim first time here and I live 5 min away and they sucked and the worst part is there $$$ !! My nails aren't even my real nails was already being able to b lifted off the fake on the next day. Pinky is shorter than the other I'm so disappointed. On top of that got a pedicure and my two big toes hurt and it's only been a week which leads me to believe the pedicure was not good she didn't clean my big toes right !! I've been going here for about 10 years and my dream team is always Lisa for gel mani and Cindy for pedi. I'm a perfectionist and like my mani/pedi to be clean (no lumps, air bubbles, drips, polish on my skin) and they always take care of me. Other great manicurists I'd recommend highly are: Tina, Molly, Dan, and Kimberly. All excellent! I've posted some pics of my most recent manicures. My only caveat is that they may be a little more expensive than other nail salons but once you find a manicurist you like, it's hard to go anywhere else! read more

It doesn't even deserve one star. Just took my sis to get her nails done for her graduation and figured I get mine too well I walked out spending 63. after I paid I reliezed I over paid. For a full set it's 24 but what they failed to tell us that they added $3 to remove the nails $3 to shape them and 5 for.long nails which she didn't want and told her she wanted shorter but the lady got mad and said she can't on top of that she asked for stiletto nails and even showed a pic the lady said I don't need it I know what I'm doing... well she got oval no point at all. My sis even said no I want them more of a point she got mad again and said I will shape them right now but never did. I asked for almond I got super fat round nails and a horrible paint job the sides were not painted it's just horrible as for my sister paint job she got a nice little hair in hers. So yeah we will not be coming back to this place again. I was a walk in on a Sunday for a pedi. I noticed the woman who was going to do it did a fill instead. However, when she finished with her previous client, she just rinsed off her tools in the sink with No Soap. She would have used them on me, but did the fill for someone else. I do not know if she used them in her though. So far, my pedi is going fine. Technician does not use gloves. No extras for today, no hot massage, no callous removing, just basic. I do not see prices....a little nervous. Pedi turned out fine. My technician was an older lady super nice. Her service was just fine. However, this Nail Salon, professionail, is not sanitary at all. That's a shame because the owner wants to stay in business and not have the health department come in, they need to train their employees and make sure the employees are doing their Dil diligence to sanitize tools. read more

Literally the worst customer service ever. I walked in telling them i wanted white pearl and they said they could do it for a certain price. Then after she filled my nails and was about to paint them they said they don't have pearl white and the next closest thing is chrome which is $10 more. This review is strictly for the finished product and business practices. I thought I'd treat myself to a mani/pedi on a lazy Sunday so I decided to try out Professionail since it's close to my house. That was a mistake, and big waste of money. While the two women who did my mani and pedi were super nice, I cannot give anything above a 1 star for the finished product. There was also the issue of them giving me hot oil treatments for the pedi part when i only agreed to the treatment for my mani. Not sure how that happened, but of course they did not tell me how much more the hot oil treatment would be. I went in thinking I'd pay max $30-35 and ended up walking out paying $49. How the heck did that happen? You should TELL PEOPLE how much extra each additional treatment is. (It did not help that I couldn't really understand them, so they probably took my silence/lack of response as a.. sure go ahead and add on a bunch of stuff). I asked the woman who was doing my mani for a SIMPLE SIMMMMPLE design, but she could barely understand me. I eventually drew out the design for her, and she seemed to eventually get it.. or so I thought. She basically completely butchered the design. Not only that.. she didn't even paint my nails correctly. It was uneven, and just hideous. When she drew the design.. which was just simple straight lines... she couldn't even do that. The lines were blotchy and not straight. I asked her to redo the lines.. and they ended up just looking the same as the first time around. I won't be going back. *I ended up going home upset and extremely irritated. I took off the nail polish they put on my hands and feet and re-did them myself. Walk-in with my fellow mani/pedi enthusiast (big sis!) on a NOT busy day for them. I have been to A BUNCH of nail salons/spas and this place has so much potential, especially with such talented nail technicians as Daniel (SOOOO Nice and Professional!!) but they FAIL at some major points, to be outlined below. Place is very conveniently located in the Amerige Town Center right off Malvern Avenue, with PLENTY of parking, and enough staff to get your nails done even if you didn't think to make an appointment first. BUT: 1) Lady doing nails in first station to the left when walking into nail shop is SUPER RUDE. Not ONCE did she check in to see if my sister was happy with the length/color/work she was doing. Once or twice when my sister did start to say "that's good, it's short enough," the lady TOTALLY waved it off like "I just cut this off"....umm....WHAT??? I was sitting right next to my sister (me being the lucky goose with Daniel as my nail tech/artist, was having a WONDERFUL time, watching Daniel's patient and CARING hands do magic on my nails) and I can tell my sister growing more and more like, meh....and....no.... Yeah, I hope you don't get stuck with this lady :( 2) They definitely need to listen to the previous Yelp reviews and make an effort to clean their stations and TOOLS better. ProfessioNOT! This is the worst nail salon ever. I don't even know where to start. Well, OK, I start by going in after work for a relaxing mani/pedi. The b*tch doing my pedicure does not stop texting THE ENTIRE TIME she's working on my feet. The other b*tch doing my nails is filing my finger tips instead of the nails, and mid-cuticle clip, one hand still in the water, she stops my manicure, goes over to a 4 year old girl who's mom had been getting a manicure and full on paints the little girls nails. WTF????? Right in the middle of my manicure?!!! The mom didn't ask for her to paint her nails, the little girl didn't ask to have her nails painted, she was totally behaving, I have no idea why this stupid girl stopped my manicure to paint her nails. It made no sense! And of course neither of them spoke English so I couldn't ask. Awful, awful, awful! Oh and the floor is littered with toenails and they make you walk all the way across the place BAREFOOT to sit under the flourescent dryer by the front door. I've grown to really like this salon. Although sometimes it's a hit or miss depending on who you get, for the most part they are extremely conscientious about cleanliness and overall do a good job. For soooooo long these people have exploited the fact that they were the only nail salon in the west Fullerton/Amerige heights vicinity.... They charge way too much, the wait is always ridiculous - even with an appointment, the service is terrible, their work is subpar, the attitudes of the nail techs are bad and snippy or pushy. I have been coming to this salon since it opened. The last few times I have gone in I noticed the quality was very poor. I thought that Tina was very busy and backed up or just having a bad day, hoping the next time I came in it would be better. The next time I returned she was very rude! She suggested I get a new set so I got a new set. After getting the new set I noticed the acrylic was not even on the entire nail bed . I pointed it out to her and she completely ignored me. When she finished, the nail polish was not on the entire nail. I showed her and she claimed it was my finger not my finger nail. One of the other girls fixed it because Tina yelled at me and said "If I fix it for you, don't come back!" I will never go back after getting a full set that looked like I needed a fill. Just had my nails done on Friday by Molly. She did an amazing job. I had an acrylic fill with gel polish, French style. My cuticles are very tender and dry. I explained that to Molly and she was very careful. Molly also spoke very good English. I will be back for sure. read more

II have been going to this place every 3 weeks for over 8 years. I have been having Linda for pedicure and Tina for nails. I can honestly say that I have never had my nails chip, crack or peel, even when I have missed a week or two. When I read the other negative reviews, I was a bit surprised by the comments. I do get the extra leg massage and it is better than most spas. I see that Dan is a favorite and understand why, as he takes pride in his work is very sociable. As for comfort, the chairs were just replaced and do have a nice massage element. I am not a clean freak, but I think a new coat of paint would be good and clean the door jams going in the bathroom. The bathroom looks and feels more like a storage closet and could be easily upgraded with storage cabinet. Also, they can take down the bright orange sign that let's you know a state law now requires each patron to have their own file, etc., a bit tacky. To sum it up: Based on the quality of product, great service from Tina and Linda, I will continue to go there no matter what others say. I look forward to relaxing, closing my eyes each time I go. read more

But when she wasn't able to convince me to get gel, she sloppily applied the polish and told me not to mess up my nails under the dryer because she didn't have time to redo anything. I asked for gel over my nails, and it is lumpy with acrylic caked on underneath the nail. My cuticle was cut, and the gel was dropped all over my skin. With that being said, I just want to commend Kathleen for the amazing job she does on my nails!! I admit I am a bit picky. attention honest ladies, stay far away from this place! they rip you off! went here to get a quick pedicure and was told it would only cost $18 so when the pedicure was finished (which was not great at all) i told her to charge $21, $18 to pay for the services & the remaining $3 for her tip to my debit card . then all of sudden as i go to get up to get my card the girl proceeds to tell me she has to charge $25.50 for no apparent reason and then tells me not too worry because she will then give me the remaining amount to me back in cash! i was in a rush & on the phone so it didn't hit me until i was gone that she had only given me back $2 back instead of the $4.50 she should have given me back! I know it was only a few dollars that were cheated from me, but it was THE FACT OR PRINCIPAL that the lady would cheat me & in my opinion steal from a client to be very alarming!! First off, there weren't that many people working (on a Saturday night, really?) so I had to wait for my pedi. The selection of colors was lacking, and I felt like it was sketchy quality polish. But the thing that bothered me the most was the how the lady who did my nails kept trying to upsell me on EVERYTHING.
