I normally do my own dip nails at home but due to preparing for vacation, I gave that time away to do my girls' gelX nails. This gave me zero time for me. I last minute booked a gelX with gel polish and a pedicure with gel for 4 hours before my trip. I was glad I called ahead because they were quite busy on a friday afternoon. Katie did my gelx and gel polish. She was patient and meticulous to insure the nail was prepped well and positioned well. She introduced me to the Apres astral line of gel polish which is an additional $10 on top of the regular gel charge. I tried to fight the urge to get the upcharge but ended up giving in because the color was so beautiful. I originally liked a darker shade but she and Thao voted for a lighter purple. It was out of my regular norm of color choice but I was democratic about it. I am really glad I went with their suggestion because they ended up absolutely beautiful. Thao did my pedicure and since I got this grayish white, she made sure I was happy with the color before curing. Fast forward 3 weeks post vacation, my gelX nails are still amazing with just a little grow out. Keep in mind my nails have braved two asian countries of travel and 8 XL luggage handling everywhere. I was super surprised it held up so well. I got many compliments throughout my travels from out of country folks asking where I got my nails done due to the amazing color choice. I ended up having to remove them myself for 2 hours before I started work again so I wouldn't be delinquent. It was a challenge. Next time, I will definitely consider paying the removal fee when I return back to work LOL Thanks again Ladies! I will be back next time when I go on vacation again :) read more

I had never been to this salon but was in the area and pressed for time! I asked about a Gel Manicure and regular pedicure saw their price and said ok. The shop was very clean and the staff really nice. My issue with this place was price gouging I wanted design on my nails. The person at the desk told me they had nobody there to do designs so they would use stickers instead which would be $10. I said ok. I go to pay and this experience costs me $140 they charged $10 per sticker per finger and 1 on each toe, then added $10 to either remove or add dip powder. Maybe I am out of touch or my regular nail person has me on a loyalty discount. I am now looking at my hands and feet but find no joy in my mani/pedi that I normally do. Again I made the choice to stay and the quality is good but I just feel we're a bit shady on the pricing aspect. This is a lesson learned and I will not be returning. read more

I sincerely like this establishment. The quality, of course depends on how you communicate to your technician. My only complaint is that if you request a gel manicure or anything more than that, they DO NOT perform an actual manicure (soak, cuticle service etc) without an EXTRA charge). Outrageous. You have to request it. EVERY OTHER PLACE, does this without extra charge. One more thing, I find outrageous is that they will charge a 9 year old, the adult price. I recommended this place to a friend. They charged her 9 year old ADULT prices. Seriously?!? Otherwise, this is one of the best places to go. Give them a try and make your own judgment. read more

Came in for the first time as a walk in with zero notice and they were able to get me in immediately. I wish I caught my technicians name because she was fantastic. I got a gel manicure and this was the first time (ever) that my cuticles didn't get cut too close and sting. Mine have a tendency to hide so this was pretty much an inevitability. My nail tech however was extremely gentle from start to finish. Cuticles weren't maimed, arms weren't twisted, buffer wasn't scratching at my skin; all in all great experience. It'd been awhile since I'd got them done at all and I appreciated that my nail tech was comfortable telling me that the shape I initially requested (almond) would be something she'd do her best at but my nails weren't long enough to get the result I was looking for with that sho. I had low expectations since I went in as a walk-in and assumed all of the best nail techs were booked for appointments. Jade was available for my gel-x manicure and WOW... I was not disappointed!! Jade looked at my reference pic and was able to replicate the design for me perfectly! The salon was very aesthetic with massage chairs for pedicures. I booked an appointment my second time with Jade and she was just as amazing and detailed as the first time. She made alterations to my reference photo and catered the design to suit my skin color. That type of attention to detail will keep me a lifelong customer of Papillion. Today was my third appointment with Jade. I asked for something more simple with a charm. Updated review: Went today (1/28/26) for my second appointment with Jade, and just like last time, she did an amazing job! She's very detailed and really takes her time designing my nails and making sure everything looks perfect. I love that she doesn't rush the process. This nail salon is a very clean. My experience was poor due to the nail tech taking a phone call as soon as she sat down and having to leave due to an emergency. She just picked up and left. The receptionist told me after she was gone what was going on. They asked another nail tech that was still working on another client to help, so she started later and mostly everyone in the shop was gone by the time she finished. I got basic gel set without any design but was charged $10 more for 2 acrylics put on for my 2 slightly shorter nails. I had Julie as my nail tech and she was extremely rude and was badmouthing me. she was frustrating because she was getting annoyed at me for picking colors that wouldn't go well together instead of discussing with me. she also was distracted while drilling my nails and kept nicking me. she was careless with my nails and didn't even do proper cuticle work. she also showed her frustration and annoyance by not wiping her mistakes carefully and at a certain point just completely gave up on providing service. i am not coming back here unless i have to and i strongly recommend not booking Julie. she was rude, demeaning and careless. i regret paying for these nails where the gel got everywhere and looks nothing like the nails i wanted. read more

Today was my first time to Papillon, and the second time I have ever done cat eye nails. I had gone to a different salon a week before and requested builder gel nails with the cat eye design but was so disappointed in how they came out. I was referred to Jade at Papillon by my niece, and I am SO HAPPY that I came. Jade removed the nails that I had done the week before and made my nails absolutely beautiful. She was very sweet, thoughtful, and very meticulous about doing my nails. She took her time to communicate with me about what I wanted and kept checking on me to make sure that I was comfortable with the process the whole time. I love that at one point, she wasn't happy with how one design turned out on one nail (without me even noticing it at all) and immediately removed the design and redid it. I came here to try gel x nails for the first time instead of my normal acrylic nails, and I really enjoyed my experience! The place is very cute and clean, and my nails came out beautifully Normally, I am super picky with my nails because they are generally a very expensive luxury, so I want to make sure I love them, and so I usually have an exact design in mind, but this time I only had a basic idea. And Katie looked through my inspo pics and helped me come up with a beautiful set! She was super sweet and patient, and she noticed when I felt the setting lamp was getting too hot, and slowed down so I would be more comfortable. The next day, I notice that some of the gel underneath one of the nails was peeling, so I went back today, and she was able to reapply the gel with no issue! I felt so bad because I walked in when they were super busy, but she took less than 5 min to fix the small issue, and I really appreciate it. I hope the customer she had didnt mind, but she was soaking her nails anyway, so Katie was free for the quick fix. I also got a nice pedicure from a different nail tech (I forgot her name) but she was also very accomodating, and gave a nice pedicure. read more

Smooth and even application of product and she even suggested a different color to better match my skin tone. Thank you! I came in to get a a French tip fill with gel w over acrylic powder on my nail bed. In addition, I also got a pedicure with French tip (gel). I was charged $160 I felt taken advantage of and robbed. So, I decided to call back and ask for the SAME EXACT SERVICE!! & the gentleman who initially charged quoted me for the exact same service quoted me on the phone $135. Paying the $160 is not an issue. The issue is that I was taken advantage of and robbed. I will never go back here again and if you do go please establish the price before you pay.
