I am giving the girl that did my manicure a 1 star but overall 2 stars because Vee(owner) tried to fix it. The girl I had was Mai and she really does not know how to do powder nails. 1) Given it was my first time doing powder, I gave her the benefit of the doubt when she dipped my nails... 5 times directly into the powder pot. Not only was it not sanitary, but it was such a THICK layer. 2) she was not able to replicate the design that I gave her and I ended up having to change it something more simple which was an ombré look but she again effed it up. 3) she did a top gel coat to lock it in but did not do a good job so it cured with chunks on top. Thank god the owner was there and saw me not too happy with the final results. She immediately took the tool to take off the initial layer of all my nails... that's right, after spending 75 mins with Mai, she had to still try and remove the top layer. Anyways, she was able to fix some of the mistakes and it looked okay. However, because there were so many layers on it, the bottom is already peeling after only a week. Two already came off even tho powder is supposed to last 3 weeks at the very least - the worst part is that my hair keeps getting caught on the bottom of the ones that haven't come off yet! To be fair, my sister got Vee and her nails are intact. However, as this was my first time with Mai and ritz, I won't be revisiting. read more

Boy I needed a pedicure and since this one is super close to my dad's rehab center, I decided to give it a try. It definitely is quite spacious. The pedicure chairs are very nice as their massage chairs give a great massage! The interior is very clean and well organized. They have different prices for pedicures depending on how much you want to be pampered. I opted for the Royal Manicure and Kay didn't disappoint in the lest. I needed the pampering! Lol I'd have to say my polish job could have been a little nicer, cleaned up around the edges, and I couldn't take it so I asked her to and without hesitation she did. I appreciate that very much. Her massage was wonderful along with the hot stones, the total time was 14 min and that was plenty. She showed me the time on her timer before she began. Of course now we will see how long the polish lasts. My polish from my regular place usually lasts and looks great for a couple months. Kay is very sweet and can converse with you, if desired. read more

I came in to have my acrylics taken off and to get a gel manicure. I asked to have my nails soaked off... I had let them grow out very far and let the glue break down a bit to make this easier...the person who did my nails attempted to soak them off but kept filing and pushing at the edges. My nails came out soooooo thin and week. Within a week they've all broken super low and it's incredibly painful. They weren't busy so there wasn't a reason to rush the soak off... He RUSHED through my pedicure (I basically paid them $22 to wash my feet and slap some polish on). He did a better job on my daughter's nails. I will not be returning. read more

So, I originally needed quick assistance because I had bend a nail and it was hanging on for dear life. I called to make sure walk-ins were ok; and he said to head over. He (I believe his name was Thai, sorry if incorrect) was very gentle at removing my old full set and applying the new set. He was also very informal and professional.Then Vee came along very friendly and patient to finish the job. She was very cautious and precise on all she did with my hands/nails. I was very pleased with the outcome and will return in the future. I not at all felt rushed or pressured to getting what I didn't ask for. I had been going here for 10 years but the ownership has changed for the worse and so has the service. Nothing like before. Check the review dates after 2018 and you will see how poorly the new owner treats the customers. When I arrived for my appointment, I was the only customer but was kept waiting for 30 minutes (with my feet in cold water) while the designated pedicure girl and the owner had lunch. Three other salon girls sat around doing nothing and no one offered any service. I asked if they had forgotten me and was told they were eating. No other customers came in while I was there and I understand why. I had an appointment and skipped my lunch to get there on time, only to be left waiting and given poor service. They did come back with a smile but no apology. read more

The polish I selected was diluted and thin, and I wish I would have spoken up during the application, because 4 hours after the mani/pedi, the color has worn off the top of my nails. My one complaint is when scheduling an appointment for me & a friend at lunch, inevitably one of us waits 20+ minutes after the other is started. This is my second time coming here and I'm equally impressed the second time around. Vee did my nails this time, a pink and white fill, and she used the same technique as the previous woman had done on my first visit. It is a dipping technique that requires less filing and lasts longer while looking better than the traditional route when they're trying to make all of the white the same depth and shape. I definitely recommend coming here for acrylic nails. It sounds like they also use this technique for gel dipped French manicures as well. It's pretty cool and I suggest checking it out! My pink and white fill was $35 to do it the gel dipping style. (My fingers are shiny in the photo because of the cuticle oil that had just been applied) read more
