I have been coming here regularly for a few months now for gel X and regular manicures and pedis. It is a convenient location next to Target and there is lots of parking. The place is clean. The nail technicians are kind and friendly and always make sure they know what I want. The ladies who do the cat eye manis are the best!!! The manager is welcoming and always checks in about which services I want. I have walked in without an appointment and have been helped quickly. They are a busy spot so making an appointment is helpful. When they are busy, they do their best to get you started and make it an efficient visit for the customer. read more

I've been here a few times and while Tran is a great tech I won't tolerate the unprofessionalism from other techs and the manager. I originally got a fill and received Gel X. Less than 48 hours later the polish was peeling on all my nails with my thumbs being the worst. I call to schedule for the following day to come in, no big deal. They tell me to come in at a specific time, I come in and have to wait an additional 20 minutes to be seen... one tech comes and says she can redo them for me; as she's about to sit down, another tech tells her to go to another client instead. This tech then asks again what I need, I explain and she then leaves. She returns with the manager who inspects my nails, asks again what I need, I explain and then the tech implies she's only going to fix my index fingers and thumbs. I decline and show them that the peeling is happening on all my nails. The manager then tells me I will have to pay $15 to fix them if I want to do all the nails. I'm not going to fix 4 fingers and the rest of them don't look the same. I shouldn't have to pay again when they should've been right the first time and shouldn't be peeling from Gel X... The manager says nothing and leaves. No apology. I also witnessed her roll her eyes at another client at the front desk. The tech who is clearly irritated is sighing, huffing and puffing. Twice, she is trying to grab my wrist to pull my arm around and I had to pull my hand away and ask her not to touch me like that and I can move my arm myself where she needs me to have it. My nails thankfully were fixed but the manager is rude and does not care. Management needs to improve on hospitality, customer service, and overall communication. This place has lost my business and I will be telling others to stay clear of this place! read more

I really tried to like this salon. I saw a prior customer interaction with the manager/owner and thought it was a one off but experienced a similar negative interaction. Most of the technicians are friendly but today and I had a technician assigned that was fairly rude but just let it go. I asked for the promo that was by the cash register. The technician looked and advised that it was no longer available. Fine, I proceeded with a different treatment Towards the end of my session, another customer came in and the manager walked up to her and told her about the promo. I said I was told it wasn't available and was met with a curt "i guess she didn't know" no apologies, no making up for it - just too bad. The customer took it and she was met with enthusiasm I was very annoyed and when I went to pay, told the manager why I was upset, she kept asking for payment and simply said she didn't know about the transaction with an 'oh well" attitude. I don't plan on returning. She responded f you're interested, you can always come back - obviously with sarcasm. My problem is the manager has a condescending attitude and obviously does not take a customer friendly approach. read more

This place is fantastic! I arrived at my appointment time and they took me right away, no wait like some other places. I went for the seasonal special and it was amazing, pumpkin spice! The tech was very thorough and did an amazing job. This was my second visit and I'm definitely making this the spot I go to. The gel polish selection is abundant and quality products. Manager julie is awful ! Booked an appointment and she was almost a hour late assigning me a nail technician Did not acknowledge me nor offer any type of apology. And when you ask her a question she stares stupidly at you and avoids the question. Absolutely no communication skills or understanding of how to run a business and treat customers kindly. Please go elsewhere unless you want the most uncomfortable experience ever. read more

Called in and made an appointment for 3:45. When I went in for my appointment, I was told I needed to come back at 5 since they took walk ins that made them run behind. I expressed I couldn't l, I am a single mom and only have a sitter for a very short time. I don't get to leave the house very often without my baby so this was a special treat for myself. The woman who came up to me, just said sorry and walked away. This was really tough for me. I finally got a chance to treat myself and was really looking forward to this. read more

I needed a pedicure on a Saturday afternoon and I came in to see if they had available for a walk-in. They were busy with appointments and other walk-ins so I asked if I could come back in about an hour. Great! When I came back, they were ready for me. I got the milk and honey pedicure and it was very luxe! My nail tech brought out a beautiful tray with lemons, a yummy smelling sugar scrub, and another great smelling lotion. I wish I had snapped a pic, because it was beautiful! They also have a very pretty display of drinks. The salon is VERY clean, which is always a huge factor for me in finding a nail salon. While I was getting my pedicure lots of ladies came in wanting services. The crew did their best to accommodate. I noticed a lot of patrons were super impatient and somewhat demanding. The staff did very well with customer service. I feel compelled to say that if you are in a hurry or looking to get your nails done in a pinch, you should not expect your needs to be immediately met! This is a business accommodating lots of customers and if you really want to make sure you can get in, call ahead or make an appointment! Otherwise, be flexible and grateful, and make sure to bring cash for your tip. read more

I had a really disappointing experience here. The owner was extremely rude and even accused my 10-year-old son of being an adult, which was honestly shocking because he clearly looks like a child. I would never bring my kids here again, and I wouldn't recommend it to anyone with children. The owner was disrespectful and the prices felt overcharged. I came across this nail salon after having dinner at Stone Fire. I am new to the area and I was looking for a new salon that could do Gel X nails. Me and my husband walked in and were greeted right away. Location is super clean, the staff was very courteous and Julie was great took good care of both of us. So during our visit I mentioned bringing my mom and I laws for Mother's Day since I ended up liking the service and my nails. We booked for Mother's Day and Julie did a great job making my mother and mother in law and sister in law feel special. They all loved the work and mentioned they'd be coming back. Terrible service. The salon leaves the door completely open, which lets bugs inside. When I came in one evening for a gel manicure, there were small flying bugs swarming around the table and even trying to get into the LED light while my hands were under it. It was very uncomfortable and unsanitary. On top of that, I was told the wait would be about 10 minutes, but I ended up waiting an hour before my service even started. read more
