Then called in some other lady to help who seemed like she worked on photos . She found the march order . Reviews for this pharmacy will probably go nowhere nor will do they do any good but I regret coming here to pick up medication, every single time. The pharmacist does not listen and always tries to fill prescriptions I do not ask to be filled or out of order. She also calls for unknown reasons without leaving a message, and then acts dumb when I call her back when she didn't leave a message with any context to begin with. Additionally, there have been times where I had to wait for her for more than an hour (outside of their lunch window) because she took an extended break/lunch before I could even pick up my medication. The pharmacy techs (other than the Asian guy, he is really nice and knowledgeable) are rude AF. It's like they have hearing problems (both at the drive through and inside window) and are always telling me to speak up to the point where I'm shouting my personal information for other people to hear. I pick up at a different Walgreens on the other side of Fullerton now (it's worth it, the pharmacist there is so kind and caring and actually listens) as well as CVS down the street where normal human interactions are far superior. read more

I'm unfortunately unable to give this pharmacy a 5-star rating due to the way I was treated by one of the technicians, "Jinny" or "Jenny" (I'm not sure of the correct spelling). I understand that working in a pharmacy can be stressful and that dealing with customers all day isn't always easy. However, that should never be an excuse to speak disrespectfully to patients or make them feel belittled. I was calling regarding medication for my daughter, who is only one month old. Naturally, if I'm calling to follow up on her medication, it's because I need assistance and want to make sure everything is handled correctly. Unfortunately, the technician seemed unwilling to properly take down the information I was providing and spoke to me in a very rude and dismissive manner. When I asked for her name and let her know that I would be leaving a review about my experience, her response was, "Okay, good luck." I found that response extremely unprofessional and unnecessary. Thankfully, Kathleen, the pharmacist, was incredibly helpful and professional. I had to call back, but she took the time to address the situation and even apologized for what had happened. I truly appreciated her professionalism and willingness to help. In the end, my issue was resolved, but I wish the situation had been handled that way from the beginning. Ooof, where to start. First I came in to do a last-minute Mother's Day photo order. I sit down at the kiosk and start selecting my photos and while I'm sitting there, I get to hear these two young coworkers, bashing and talking crap about a coworker named Linda, who apparently is really old. I heard many very nasty comments regarding this woman, and they were quite aware that I was sitting right there and then I proceeded to pick up a few items and walk to ring up my items and an older gentleman by the name Alex probably in his mid 50s proceeds to bring me up and I saw the machine spit out a $10 off coupon and he grabs it quite quickly and shoves it down below and so once he gives me my receipt I said oh that's quite interesting. I always get coupons he goes. Oh yeah you didn't get any this time it would've printed out. But he pocketed my coupon. I feel really sorry for this lady named Linda. These two young coworkers obviously hate her, the one guy was a young white guy, and the other coworker was a young African-American woman. This is completely unprofessional behavior... I came in here to deposit cash into my CAPITAL ONE. This smart alley cashier Ashley said their max amount is $500. I said I have input my app and it tells me my max amt of deposit. They insist that their limit is $500 I asked for proof none was provided. She called her manager and said "Chime" I said I do not have chime. They insist their comprehension which is "chime card." I am not sure they have a very good comprehension. I showed the app. So I am not sure, if they understood me at all. This walgreens has awful customer service. What is worst is the way they speak has no professionalism. Upon reading from previous comments I agree been coming here for a long time either store or pharmacy has not been good. This Walgreens at least is a prime example of why they are closing stores. If you provide horrible customer service people will stop shopping at your store and you'll have to close it. On Saturday we had friends over for a barbecue. My fault, I didn't check my propane level earlier in the day. Halfway through cooking I run out, major bummer but not a big deal because Walgreens is one minute away and I've done this so a dozen times it takes five. I just disconnect the tank and run down to the store, there are several people in line with one register, OK that's fine. I get to the cashier and ask her for a propane tank swap, she talks into her microphone about it and then asked me to sign. I say can I please pay for it I'm in a hurry, and she replies she's not sure if we have any. OK, after a few minutes, the manager comes over and says to the cashier do you know where my keys are, she doesn't say anything to me then start slowly walking to the back of the school Now I'm getting very frustrated. While she's gone the 6 to 7 minutes looking for her keys another cashier comes in, who looks like he could be someone in charge, I ask him if he has keys for the propane, and he says no only the lead does. I tell in case she can't find her keys, and he kind of rolls his eyes and says he's the only one this isn't the first time has happened. I didn't see her slowly walk up to the other side of the store and stop at the photo area to help someone else. I know I'm fuming, and stay out loud now she's helping someone else. A man cashier talk into his microphone and she comes over. We go out front paige, she again says she doesn't know if they have any. I can look right through the cage and see two shelves of clean bottles with the blue cap on which I point out to her and say those are obviously failed. She spends at least five minutes, trying to find the key to open the lock. She's trying keys that would not even come close to fit into this block, I'm standing there saying seriously. After five minutes of trying, I just give up grab my bottle and tell her never mind this is ridiculous and walk away. something that should look out taken five minutes, I spent 20 minutes at the store and didn't even get what I wanted. I went someplace else and did get it in five minutes, my mistake. I will go there next time. Walgreens, you have completely lost my business, I don't expect you to give me a response to this, but if you do great. Please let me start by saying, I've been going to this location for over 11 years. I have no issues or problems with the pharmacy. They have always been professional and kind, even when there are things that don't go correctly. This is the situation though. I ordered prints online yesterday with the 60% coupon code. I get to the store this morning to pick up my order and half of them were correct but not done well (photos were falling off the wood panels), and the other half were done in a completely different style than what I ordered. The kid (Anthony) just stared blankly as I explained that they all have to match as this is for an event. Now I have to go home, re-order and come back. Fine. Several hours later, I return. I pay for my new order and ask for the refund in the online order that was messed up earlier. He told me he cannot refund me (even though I have the receipt) without the items that I did end up purchasing. He said there is a barcode that he has to have to refund me. That doesn't make sense, it's an online order and I don't recall seeing a barcode on any of the blue boxes. But I have no choice because the kid just stands there. So I again return home to retrieve my first order. As I told him, there are no barcodes on the boxes the pictures are wrapped in. There are no barcodes on the pictures inside either. I now return to the store for the third time and asked to speak with the store manager so I can finally get this finished. She approached and I began to explain the situation and frustration of the 3 trips. Kat (from what the clerk up front told me) proceeded to cut me off and give me attitude. I'm sorry? Didn't this happen because your stores employee(s) messed up my order? I'm sorry? Didn't I have to drive to your store 3 times today? During my work day? I'm sorry...Don't you owe me a refund? Funny how everyone wants more money to do their job but they don't do it well. Train your employees on how to read an order. Train them on how to process a refund for a custom item that doesn't always have a barcode. Called and filed a complaint and I still haven't gotten my refund! It's about $63!!! read more

As a consumer, I do not appreciate how I was treated and talked too...when I had simple questions regarding medical lingo, pricing, and overall breakdown of how Walgreens went about doing things. RUDE RUDE RUDE! First, I had an appt for aCOVID Test. I literally got there 5 mins before and they the rude pharmacist tells me in a rude and irritated tone, that I was too early, that I needed to wait, and to move out of the way for anyone who is pulling up behind me because they *might* be picking up a prescription . I did not move. I am in line. This is what lines are. You wait behind the person who is before you. Second, the other pharm tech or whatever, comes to help me with my test 2 mins past my appt time. I asked her if she could please give me a receipt to confirm that I was there and took the test in case results are delayed, I can show my employer that I did get it. Let me preface and say that other Walgreens have given me a receipt to confirm the date and time I came to take a test, without any issue. Well this pharm tech tells me they are too busy to provide that to me. And that I can drive back later to come get the receipt. This was HORRIBLE customer service. This staff Kathleen N. is very unreasonable turn them away just because they do not speak fluent English. Check yourself again, im sure you are who they are and one day you will need help just like them when you get older. If I didn't need to buy Walgreens eye drops for my chronic allergies, I'd avoid this place altogether. Unfortunately it's the closest one to my house but I try to go to other ones if I'm in the area. Every time I go, one particular cashier named Yvonne has an extremely large chip on her shoulder. Like others have said, customer service is completely void here. I've smiled at her and asked how she's doing but she ignores me and every sentence she speaks is soaked in disdain and attitude. When I arrived earlier than expected to my appointment the worker turned me away and said come back in 20 minutes...to a sick individual who probably shouldn't even be driving. If you are making it a point to stay home to be safe and having your medications delivered, you need to really read this! The "so called" 2 day free delivery is a fars. I had a prescription called in on a Friday and recieved a text on the same Friday that it was ready for pick up. I opted for free 2 day delivery. It is now Friday, 7 days later of the following week and still no medication. I called and the item was picked up from Fed-Ex 7 days later and will be delivered the next day. Seriously? Good thing these meds are not LIFE SAVING meds or I would be dead! This has happened numerous times and the store is a few blocks away from my home. Ridiculous! If you have life saving medication be aware that you will have to wait 7 days for pick up then 2 more days for delivery! You have been warned!! read more

I spent 5 hours of my day trying to fill a prescription that my Dr immediately sent over the minute I got to Walgreens. The lady behind the computer was so unbelievably UNHELPFUL it was shocking. I told her I needed to fill this asap and the pharmacy received my prescription and the lady told me the address on the prescription was wrong and she couldn't help me. So I immediately called my Dr and they immediately sent over another prescription with the correct address (It happens). Then she told me it would be at least an hr till it would be ready, which I found strange because there were absolutely no customers coming in to the pharmacy while I had been waiting in there for the previous hour, so I decide to leave. An hour after leaving I received a text alert saying they received a prescription from my Dr and it was pending, and it was my mistake to assume pending meant it was being worked on. So I wait another hour or 2 before looking at the text again and noticed there was a link I could click for info on my prescription. And when I looked it said pending - medicine NOT in stock. So I called and after wasting 5 hours of my morning and now it's after 3 and I am without my seizure medication all day thus far I ask this same lady if they are out of my medicine why on earth had she not told me that when I first came in HOURS ago??? - being treated like this in as serious a situation that this was is totally unacceptable - there was absolutely no customers at the pharmacy it was literally dead - I live across the street and my wife and I go in there often and usually there's not even another person in the entire store - I went to another pharmacy after and was helped and out of there with my medicine in less than 10 mins If you are seeing this DO NOT GO THERE they won't help you, they simply don't care read more

I waited an hour for my prescription to get filled, but that's not the issue at all. While sitting in the waiting area next to the counter, I could hear every customer's names (spelled out), phone numbers, address, and even them mentioning that they were leaving on vacation and the dates. When I finally got my prescription, I told the Pharmacist how I could overhear all this customer info and that I didn't think they they were protecting customer's information from stranger's overhearing it. They said that some customers were old and hard of hearing so they had to speak louder. I told them when they ask for your phone number or address that they should have a piece of paper for them to write it down so it remains private, and why don't they implement that or some sort of of privacy measures to protect customer info. One of the brighter employees suggested they would have to move the waiting area farther from the intake line and I agreed but suggested that they use the privacy booth they have next to the intake line to talk to incoming customers since they use that to give confidential info. The customers in line behind me all thanked me for pointing out this egregious security flaw and said I was a hero for speaking up to try to protect the rights of others I didn't even know. I signed the receipt and took my prescription and left. A couple days later I got a call from the pharmacy saying that I had not signed my prescription receipt and I needed to drive back to sign it. I told them I remember signing it and this was all BS. I knew if I didn't return to sign it they would try to bill me for it (I am a Medi-Cal recipient) so I told them I was coming back to sign it and tell them what I thought of their service. So I gathered up my receipts and Lo and Behold, I had the signed copy of the receipt. When I got there a half hour later, the Pharmacy was closed and there was a sign saying they were closed for a meal break. Of course they didn't tell me that they closed for lunch, so I would have had to wait until they all returned to show them that they had given me the signed receipt. I asked for the manager, who was nice but never apologized until I asked for one. I guess they were so flustered and embarrassed about exposing customer info that they gave me the only signed copy by mistake and then insisted I return to sign the receipt. I left the receipt with the manager and left, never to return again. Is this just incompetence or retaliation for pointing out bad security practices? I'll let you decide, but I will never shop in another Walgreens if I can avoid it. And to reviewers like Brian L. who say they have decent prices, I must ask why a bottle of Vitamin C would cost $49.99???!! I implore all shoppers to never shop at Walgreens, it is a rip off, they don't care about you, and they blame YOU for their mistakes. read more

My wife and I made appointments for our COVID shots for today, through Walgreens' website, more than a week ago. We showed-up for our appointments, this morning, and they refused to give us the shots, and even refused to scan my wife's appointment email, to try to resolve the issue, because in their system, they reverted to her name being her maiden name, and claimed that the name on her ID didn't match the name on the appointment. For more than TEN YEARS, Walgreens has dished-out her birth control prescription, and any other prescriptions she's had when she actually got sick, and charged our insurance, EVERY MONTH, and they've given us annual flu shots, all using the correct name, but when we showed-up for our COVID shots, this morning, they insisted that the name on the appointment was a name that she hasn't used for ten-plus years, and turned us away. As I mentioned, they wouldn't even scan THEIR OWN CONFIRMATION EMAIL, which had her name correct. You could tell from the smug look on the (alleged) pharmacist's face that she was having a bad day, and she was VERY HAPPY to spread her misery around. I hope it was worth it. read more

This is solely about the pharmacy. The location is walking distance so I had my hospital send the prescriptions there. First time I went in and pharmacy was closed, during the hours said to be open; there was a sign up but I forgot what it was for (break or lunch I assume). Went back later and the lady working at the pharmacy said she couldn't give me the prescription because the pharmacist was at lunch and to come back in half an hour. Went back again a day or two later and the same thing, pharmacist was on a break, wait 15-20 minutes. I called the hospital and asked if I could pick up at their pharmacy which I did. Second time, was coming from a root canal. Had my dentist send pain killers and antibiotics tho Walgreens; get there...pharmacist in lunch and she couldn't give it to me. I was in pain and pissed but my dad had given me a ride said let's just wait even though I didn't want to...THIRTY minutes later they give me the prescription and the pharmacist tells me to take one pill every six hours for pain and the other three times a day til pills were gone...literally what was printed in the label. :-/ Latest experience. Hospital was out of what I needed so they asked where to send...I figured this time it's gotta be better right? Nope. 3 hours after my appointment ends and it's not ready yet. Get a text 30 minutes after that saying it's ready. Go back? Closed during business hours..for a break maybe? Go back and pharmacist on lunch...like wow. These are not sane times I'm going, how are they always in break or lunch. I get the need for breaks and lunches as a worker myself but how out of so many times (and different times) an I always showing up at that time. Wow. I get a call over the weekend saying it's a courtesy call to get my prescription; I said I wasn't feeling good, they said they'd see if they could deliver and get back to me, never heard back. Went back today to pick up and they said I never picked it up so they put it back but they could refill it and it would take a couple hours....but hey I think the pharmacist might have been in. Lol. I will drive further to get my prescriptions elsewhere. The gal working at the window didn't seem rude like others say on here she just seemed like she could have cared less whether I got my prescription or not..and really why should she, but I'll go to a location that is more customer friendly.
