So onto attempt #1: I came to the pharmacy on a weeknight and immediately after entering, I see from the entrance a half dozen people in line. Ugh. Nevermind. I turned around and left. Attempt #2: Came back the next morning and it was thankfully not crowded. There was just another person talking to a pharmacist as I got into line. Waited a minute and was able to talk to the pharmacist. Asked a few questions and paid for what I needed and left. Free at last! So overall, couldn't get what I needed immediately but just being flexible can save some aggravation.

This was my first time using any pharmacy for my new prescription for my recent diagnosis with ADHD. When I stoped by on Aug. 15th, Saturday, around 4:00pm, Bryan C. helped me at the Consultant window inside the store. He looked me up and down like I was a criminal, and I felt judged and profiled. It is my first time picking up a prescription for this medication as I was only recently diagnosed by my doctor. Bryan C. asked me personal questions like, "Why is my doctor so far away?" "Where do you live now?" "Have you lived with near your doctor before?" He seemed like he wanted to play detective instead of help me with filling my prescription. He basically told me "Since you don'y have medical insurance, I don't trust you." He told me I NEED to get medical insurance. He told me he doesn't trust my doctor based off the 2 minutes of speaking to me, as if he knows more than an actual psychiatric doctor. Bryan C. denied my prescription even though it was in the CVS system. He verified it, but since my doctor is not close by, Bryan chose to judge and profile me. I already have a new appt. to see my doctor now because I need my prescription sent somewhere else. I will never use CVS for my future medication because of this guy Bryan C.

She has to start taking antibiotics for an infection & the doctor told us to give her probiotics. Only issue with that is that she's an extremely picky toddler that does not like yogurt or other probiotic foods & so she recommended these drops. Since she was complaining of her tummy hurting off on a hunt we went trying to find this. This pharmacy was our 5th stop & before going we called spoke to Gabe & we asked if this was in stock & not only was it in stock but Gabe actually pulled it for us & held it in the front for us, when we arrived not only was he friendly but he wished us well. Thank you Gabe for being an extraordinary sales associate & helping us by checking if this item was in stock & holding it for us. My husband & I don't play when it comes to our goddaughter & this act of service you did made our nights better. The first one I drank tasted wrong, and I realized that all twelve bottles had expired in October 2025. I tried to return them to another CVS, but the manager there informed me that each CVS has its own vendor partnership, so I would have to return the remaining sodas where I bought them. Annoying. I did return them. But I forgot to mention that the day after I bought them, the credit card I used to buy them got hacked, so I had to block it. When I brought my sodas back, I informed the cashier that it would be impossible to credit the actual card I had used, and apparently, they don't offer cash back, so he had to load up a CVS debit card with a little bit more than $3--I told you they were discounted! As far as depressing CVSes go, this CVS is on the less depressing end of the spectrum, which means it's still plenty depressing, but not really, and definitely not comparatively. I'm fairly certain that the building it's in, which it shares with Trader Joe's and Burlington, used to be a gigantic Smith's supermarket, and even as the smallest of those three, this space feels too big for CVS. Both employees I have dealt with here have been very friendly and helpful. Now if they could only check the sell-by dates of their on-sale sodas.

At first they took away the coffee shop I loved so much, that I had been going to since I was 4 years old, but then they got taken over by the 986 chain and suddenly the pharmacy techs who I'd been seeing my whole life were gone. The lady who had a daughter the same age as mine was gone. It became so cold and sterile. And incredibly unprofessional. Last time I picked up was a disaster. I had to call them to pick up my meds- they wouldn't prep them until I called them which is wild, that's never how it used to work. Then, when I went to pick up my meds, when I got home I noticed I was missing a script. I called them and asked what happened and they told me they were out so they didn't fill it. That couldnt have been mentioned ONCE at pickup???? Great, thanks. Now I'm out my meds... thank goodness I had some extra at home. And forget using your FSA/HSA card. They always run it wrong. Last time I had a balance of 3k and they told me I was out of funds. I said "absolutely not, try again, my app says I have 3k" and they ran it again and of course it went through. But it always takes several tries of several employees here (but not at Whittier community....). Anyways, this used to be my go to pharmacy- and now it's just horrid. Never returning....

Walk-in prescriptions are filled in minutes, and when your prescription expires they follow up with your doctor for immediate prescription renewal by fax. They also accept my crummy HMO insurance! The business is Korean owned, but everyone speaks English well. After a few visits they learned my name and family members, and have reminded me on occasion to refill my daughter's prescription when I forgot. I'm glad to support a local business like this, where I can get good service and good prices, without the hassles and long lines of a big chain store.
