    On February 10, 2026 I went with my father-in-law to Specialty Medical to purchase an electric…read morewheelchair. I was the one communicating with the owner, Doug, during the visit and he even texted me the receipt directly while I was standing there in the store. Within a day or two, around February 12th, we decided to cancel the order. From that point forward we spent weeks calling and trying to get a refund. On March 12th I texted Doug again regarding the refund. Screenshots of that conversation are included with this review. In those messages he discussed giving a partial refund and repeatedly asked that we remove the review. On Friday March 13th I personally went back to the store and picked up cash from Doug in the amount of $2,355. Even then the full amount was not refunded despite the order being cancelled almost immediately after the purchase. After I posted my original review about the experience, Doug began calling and texting me asking that I delete it. I have included screenshots of those communications so people can see exactly what was said. Doug also replied publicly to my previous review claiming that I was not a customer of the business. That is not accurate. I was present in the store during the purchase, communicated directly with Doug, received the receipt from him by text, and I was the one who returned to the store to collect the refund. I have also included screenshots of the original review that was removed. People rely on reviews when making important decisions, especially when purchasing medical equipment. Because of how this situation was handled and the communication afterward asking that the review be removed, I believe it is important to share my experience so others can make informed decisions. All of the statements in this review reflect my direct experience with this business and the communication I personally had with the owner. The number one thing everyone should think about is that the better relationship you have with your pharmacy, the better they can help you. Patrick couldn't have been nicer, kinder, and gave me the confidence to make the change. The day I went to fill my 1st script, Patrick wasnt working and had to deal with Roy the other pharmacist. Had the same conversation about my history and medical issues. 2 for 2!!! He was just as kind, and gave me the reassurance that relationships with patients matter. Tip to all: if you want a good experience, take a moment to introduce yourself and help them get to know you. Just like any good physician, make an effort to help them get to know you and they'll show you what it means to be a good neighborhood pharmacy! Thank you all very much, you now have a new member of the Bright Pharmacy family for life!!!
