The number one thing everyone should think about is that the better relationship you have with your pharmacy, the better they can help you. Patrick couldn't have been nicer, kinder, and gave me the confidence to make the change. The day I went to fill my 1st script, Patrick wasnt working and had to deal with Roy the other pharmacist. Had the same conversation about my history and medical issues. 2 for 2!!! He was just as kind, and gave me the reassurance that relationships with patients matter. Tip to all: if you want a good experience, take a moment to introduce yourself and help them get to know you. Just like any good physician, make an effort to help them get to know you and they'll show you what it means to be a good neighborhood pharmacy! Thank you all very much, you now have a new member of the Bright Pharmacy family for life!!! If you've ever had experiences at a big store pharmacy that made you wonder....is there a better way to get your scripts filled? Bright Pharmacy is the place to go!

I have a strange relationship with this Rite Aid. It's not the closest one to where I grew up, but…read moreback when it was a Thrifty, we would come for the ice cream sometimes. The Rite Aid transformation happened whenever it happened, and despite that, this Rite Aid seemed less like a drugstore and more like a large convenience store or small general store. Of course, most Walgreenses and CVSes feel like that now, but this was back in the day, and it was a little bit surprising. I've bought replacement Christmas-light bulbs here more often than I'd like to mention. (Our family continued using the old large incandescent bulbs long after everyone else had switched to faux icicle strings and early LEDs, and Rite Aid was the only place we could find the colored bulbs in the right size.) I've also bought a rake, dill (on sale--for some reason they often have sales on spices), water balloons, water guns, super bouncy balls, and all kinds of candy from here. The store looks like a supermarket without the produce. It's been years since I've come for the original ice-cream experience, although I did buy a half-gallon of Thrifty ice cream from the freezer in 2020, at the height of the pandemic. There never seem to be enough employees working, and the ones who are working tend to take their time. They're friendly enough, and just based on the strange questions and customer behavior I've seen here, I don't think this is the most enjoyable place to work. Did I mention the candy? Like most places these days, they have a really wide selection, especially of the largest sizes. But if you come immediately after Halloween, you'll be amazed at just how badly they want to get this candy off their shelves. The deals feel almost criminal, like you're buying stolen merchandise.

Just great customer service. As for management, your store feels unsafe. Idk if you're trying to cut costs but you really need a security guard at the front. A bunch of druggies coming in and out. Makes your customers feel unsafe. And we are already paying an arm and a leg for something we can get at target for half the price. DO BETTER.

I said that's strange I have never kept this rx in the fridge. The pharmacist Melissa who is also the manager said oh there is a shortage so your doctor substituted this. I was like ok. The co pay was $120.... I took the first dose and noticed immediately I felt off. This was on Friday. By Sunday I was a mess. Brain fog and agitation. I discontinue use and felt better. I started to do research and found that the substitute is actually a completely different medication and is 3x the strength of what I was taking. In addition to having other medications in this dose. I contacted the pharmacy. Melissa would not take my call and I was basically told that's what it is and I can't bring it back. I might as welll flushed $120 down the toilet. I have gone to this pharmacy for years and am so disappointed. When I was on the phone asking why no one told me it was different and 3x the strength. Melissa yelled from the backround I told her it was a substitute .... again she never said it's 3 times stronger! Btw I got the medication I needed for 3 months from a private pharmacy for $13. I asked the pharmacy for the regional managers number and they refused to give it to me. I will be reporting them to the pharmacy board. They should have just refunded me what I paid. This is so wrong and unacceptable and the way I was talked to was inexcusable. Hopefully someone from corporate sees this and gets back to me.

Anyway, generally there were no hiccups but the wait is always long even though we always made an appointment online. I would say that we would regularly wait around 20-30 minutes before we actually got called in for the shot. Also, the staff isn't rude but they also aren't very polite. If anything they are more on the less polite side if anything. Even though we submit everything online for our appointment, we're always questioned about the same information, such as "Did you make an appointment online?" "Is this the first shot?" etc, etc., I mean, all of this information is given when you make the appointment online, so if they took the time to just look, they wouldn't have to ask these questions in some accusatory manner, like we didn't do something right. Anyway, for that, I'm giving it lower stars. Also, parking in their parking lot can be challenging since many spots are for specific stores so be careful to look carefully when parking.

The ice cream counter is still in operation but they now have limited flavors. Not all the awesome options Thrifty had when I was a kid. However, I can still find my favorite flavors in their ice cream freezer section. I use the pharmacy here and most of the staff is friendly. I encountered a very unhelpful and condescending Pharmacist (female ) that was working there one evening. I returned the following day and thankfully there was a different pharmacist there , his name is Brian who was very helpful and kind. The pharmacy has an automated refill system for maintenance medications. I get a text automatically letting me know when my prescriptions are ready. I can pay on the app and have my meds delivered or I can pick them up. This is a huge convenience for me. The one concern about this location is parking lot safety at night. It is extremely dark. It would be great if the city or the business would install more lighting. It would be more secure when visiting this store in the evening.

I couldn't find my receipt or remember if it was a paper or e-Mail receipt, so the cashier advised me she would be unable to allow me to return it without that and recommended I call the corporate line as perhaps they can help me obtain this receipt. I walk out of the store very annoyed and begin to research trying to find the receipt but have no luck. So I also look up the return policy for CVS on their corporate website which states that any item can be returned without a receipt for store credit which I'm okay with so I go in to approach the cashier with this information that I found. She then says that this is not what she knows but can get a "manager" for me regarding this. She then sends me over to a younger lady with dark hair and glasses and when I show her the policy on the corporate website, she said this policy is "at the manager's discretion." I asked her then why it doesn't say that on the policy on their corporate website and she said she doesn't know but cannot go over her manager's head. I ask if I can speak to her manager then and she said very rudely "he's not here right now, he doesn't work Sundays!" I asked when he is available and she said "usually weekday mornings". Well usually I work weekday mornings so I told her I'd just go write a bad review on Yelp since they don't want to abide by corporate policies. She said "go right ahead!" Appalled by their rudeness and how unacommadating they were being over a 8 dollar item! Can't wait to call corporate tomorrow about their customer service

Although she knew I was in healthcare, she did not know that I have been a CMO for the US Military and a hiring authority for many different medical and healthcare positions throughout my career. I believe Jessica has all the traits now to be promoted to the next position at CVS, whether that be regional pharmacist or area pharmacist. I can tell that the pharmacy techs enjoy working with her as well. There are too many pharmacists in the CVS stores that look like they are exhausted or are not really happy with their positions. I hope CVS will hire more pharmacists like Jessica and promote pharmacists with traits like Jessica! In addition, I have an Executive MBA with a specialization in Healthcare from a highly ranked UC institution and I hope Jessica never becomes a pharmacist who feels burnt out in healthcare!

Customer service has tanked at this store. It looks like Walgreens just got a new customer.
