Garbage pharmacy. Garbage. Garbage people, garbage service, garbage stock, garbage communication,…read moregarbage app. I despise this place, I truly and passionately despise CVS and the fact my insurance prefers them feels like a slap in the face. They do not care for the customer and do zero to hide the fact. Every employee hates their job and it shines through in their shoddy work and terrible customer service. I hate the one day a month I have to go so much it actually ruins my mood for hours--not just because dealing with whatever immature, dead-eyed societal reject CVS took a chance on that week is the worst form of punishment imaginable but because getting one scrip literally involves 15 people, 25 steps and for some reason a prior auth every. fkn. time. It's more than time consuming--nothing ever works; the app, the phone, the computer, the people, nothing ever works and nobody ever knows why or when it will be better. *Norma, one of the cashiers, is SUPER friendly and this review/complaint does not include her. She might be the only positive at this store.

Often times, I've found just the opposite at other locations, so, seeing this made me want to shop a little longer. I'd like to give a quick shout out to my sales associate, (Norma) a 20+ year veteran employee of CVS and a awesome individual who was extremely knowledgeable, helpful and a delight to converse with. She definitely understands the importance of customer service and is a wonderful ambassador for the CVS corporation.

I have a strange relationship with this Rite Aid. It's not the closest one to where I grew up, but…read moreback when it was a Thrifty, we would come for the ice cream sometimes. The Rite Aid transformation happened whenever it happened, and despite that, this Rite Aid seemed less like a drugstore and more like a large convenience store or small general store. Of course, most Walgreenses and CVSes feel like that now, but this was back in the day, and it was a little bit surprising. I've bought replacement Christmas-light bulbs here more often than I'd like to mention. (Our family continued using the old large incandescent bulbs long after everyone else had switched to faux icicle strings and early LEDs, and Rite Aid was the only place we could find the colored bulbs in the right size.) I've also bought a rake, dill (on sale--for some reason they often have sales on spices), water balloons, water guns, super bouncy balls, and all kinds of candy from here. The store looks like a supermarket without the produce. It's been years since I've come for the original ice-cream experience, although I did buy a half-gallon of Thrifty ice cream from the freezer in 2020, at the height of the pandemic. There never seem to be enough employees working, and the ones who are working tend to take their time. They're friendly enough, and just based on the strange questions and customer behavior I've seen here, I don't think this is the most enjoyable place to work. Did I mention the candy? Like most places these days, they have a really wide selection, especially of the largest sizes. But if you come immediately after Halloween, you'll be amazed at just how badly they want to get this candy off their shelves. The deals feel almost criminal, like you're buying stolen merchandise.

Just great customer service. As for management, your store feels unsafe. Idk if you're trying to cut costs but you really need a security guard at the front. A bunch of druggies coming in and out. Makes your customers feel unsafe. And we are already paying an arm and a leg for something we can get at target for half the price. DO BETTER.

I've stopped by this Rite Aid a few times as it's on my way to work, and I finally understand why…read moreso many shelves are empty. Luckily, they had the medication I was looking for, and I had a nice chat with the checker. They'll be closing in a few months, and this location will be the last of Rite Aid's to close. A lot of merchandise from other Rite Aids will be sent here, so when they do go on clearance, there might be some good deals. Otherwise, I have to give five stars to the end of an era. With all the mergers over the years, I'm not sure if this one was always called Rite Aid. Where I grew up, they were called PayLess Drugs and didn't have Thrifty Ice Cream, which I miss. They did have a rack of square ice cream scoops if you want to pretend you just bought your home-created ice cream cone from Rite Aid. I'll probably stop in a few more times, as it's the only Rite Aid I know of that's still open. If anything, to pay homage to an old brand.
