This CVS pharmacy has the worst customer service I've experienced in my life. I was in the drive thru and when I reached my turn pulled up to the window around 1pm they closed the roll up window and an automated response stated they were in lunch. I went in the store not in the best mood and the whole pharmacy roll down windows are down? Anyways I spoke to the regular employees at CVS and they are all robots with a I can't help attitude. I returned to the pharmacy a hour later spoke to pharmacist gentleman and explained what happen. He is another robot with a I can't help attitude. I asked him how can I transfer my prescriptions to another pharmacy. He handed a business card and said leave and take this card to another pharmacy. So incredibly painfully slow. 5 minutes or more on each car. Just handover the medicine and if someone takes long tell them to go inside. This is a quick pick up window not a full day service window. I have a sick family member at home who urgently needs their medicine and it's so slow. It's never taken me more than one minute to pick up my medicine when I'm here, everyone else takes them so long. read more

Im really upset. The cashier at the pharmacy window at the CVS store located at the whitwood mall was extremely rude to me. I had a couple of questions regarding my prescription and I need her to repeat herself because I have a hearing problem. She responded with "like I already said..." she was sarcastic demeaning and disrespectful in the whole 15 minutes I was at the window. As I drove off, purposefully not thanking her, she made sure to say loudly on her microphone, "You're welcome." That was it I parked and walked into the store and asked to speak with the pharmacist on duty and explained everything to her. I'm disgusted by the way I was treat by this CVS Employee. I highly suggest they take her away from the customer service window and make her work in the dark backroom where she cant interact with anyone. read more

I had interactions with two pharmacists during my daughter's covid shot. Both Daniel and Tuan (sorry for the spelling if I am mistaken) were both professional and helpful during our visit. I would definitely recommend Tuan for your vaccine shots and Daniel, although a bit serious, is a very helpful and friendly pharmacist. As a healthcare professional, I would recommend being a little patient with the pharmacists here at this location because it is one of the busiest CVS in the area! read more

On Friday evening, my children and I went to CVS Pharmacy to receive our flu vaccinations. We noticed that there were several other patients also receiving flu shots that evening. My children and I, along with several other patients, were present for flu shots that evening. The vaccination room door was left open, allowing clear visibility of the process inside. What I witnessed was both disturbing and unacceptable: Chelsea, the pharmacist or technician administering vaccines, was repeatedly giving injections without changing gloves between patients. My family was a party of six, and as soon as my mother was called in, I confronted Chelsea and asked her to change her gloves. Instead of acknowledging this very basic and standard infection-control request, she responded with an open attitude, as though I was asking for something unreasonable or outside her scope of practice. Even before I spoke up, she had been drawing up vaccines and injecting multiple patients with the same gloves, a blatant breach of safety protocol. After my complaint, she reluctantly began changing gloves, but did so while sighing, rolling her eyes, and demonstrating unprofessional behavior every single time one of my family members came in for their turn. Her body language and demeanor were dismissive and disrespectful, which only compounded my concern about the lack of professionalism and care being exercised. This type of behavior - failing to follow infection-control standards and treating patients with disdain when concerns are raised - is completely unacceptable for any healthcare setting. Gloves must be changed between patients to prevent cross-contamination and uphold basic patient safety. For this to occur at a national pharmacy chain is appalling and should not be tolerated. I expect that CVS will take immediate corrective action to address this matter, both in terms of retraining staff on proper vaccination procedures and ensuring accountability for unprofessional conduct. Patient safety and dignity must come first, and in this case, both were disregarded. read more

I am at Mimi's Cafe at the whittwood mall because I had the most humiliating and embarrassing thing happen to me. CVS our neighborhood friendly drug stores denied me access to use the restroom. The public is no longer allowed to use there faculty. I had a Gastric Bypass and was experiencing horrible pain and had an accident. I came to Mimi's where the manager was so nice allowed me to clean up while waiting for a change of clothing. Shame on CVS. CVS we are no longer in Covid measures. It comes down to not employing someone to clean restrooms absolutely discussing. It saddens me to know that I've been a returning customers since they where apart if the indoor mall. 0 stars. I spoke to Lichelle at CVS corporate about a complaint at this location with a pharmacist named Gwen, who made my autistic son cry. And Lichelle was nothing but amazing. She took care of my complaint, she was compassionate, and there should be more people in this world. She understood everything I was telling her, and people should treat other people, even people who are disabled, the way they want to be treated. Because karma is a bitch. Don't pick on somebody who is an easy mark (disabled) just because you are having a bad day. You mess with Mama Bear, and that's all I have to say. Lichelle at corporate needs a raise! ISSUE: I cannot speak to a real person on the phone with questions about a prescription that CVS's robotic phone cannot answer. First, I've been blessed with no need for regular prescriptions for now, and pray I can keep it that way. A month ago I needed help with an allergic reaction to an insect bite, but that was a temporal versus regular prescription. CVS left a robotic message on my phone to pick up a prescription. I phoned CVS to find out what doctor prescribed it, and what it was for. I could not find anything out, because I was forced with robotic options and could not reach a real person. The pharmacy is not near me, so until I can speak to a real person to sort out this mystery, this unknown prescription will be shelved at CVS. read more

Pharmacist Customer service needs improvement. They treat you badly and are passive aggressive, pretend they do not understand so they don't have to call your doctor and roll their eyes. Edward and Jill the pharmacist make you wait and purpose and make it known they are doing this on purpose. CVS implemented a voicemail for the pharmacy so if you need to speak to a pharmacist you can't and the pharmacy choses if they want to call you back. Pretty ugly place to do business with. Zero stars. Complain to the Department of Consumer Affairs about this locations business practice and your health plan. read more

CVS would not honor one of THEIR own coupons for one of THEIR own products. See their product and coupon in the pic. Pain relief, CVS Health, all the matching descriptions for the product seems to be there, but that wasn't enough to get them to honor their own coupon at the check out. Took the coupon to one of their competitor's and it was honored. No hassle, NO QUESTIONS asked. I guess my new routine will be to print my coupons out at CVS and take them somewhere else where they will be accepted. read more

Nothing can be more frustrating that visiting a pharmacy, right? Thankfully, it's usually an alright experience for me. I've visited a few times and even gone through the drive-thru in the past. So onto attempt #1: I came to the pharmacy on a weeknight and immediately after entering, I see from the entrance a half dozen people in line. Ugh. Nevermind. I turned around and left. Attempt #2: Came back the next morning and it was thankfully not crowded. There was just another person talking to a pharmacist as I got into line. Waited a minute and was able to talk to the pharmacist. Asked a few questions and paid for what I needed and left. Free at last! So overall, couldn't get what I needed immediately but just being flexible can save some aggravation. read more

I came to pick up emergency medication for a surgery I just got. I recently had my car stolen a week ago, in my car was a new MacBook, ID, debit cards, my work laptop and my medications. My doctors RE ordered it by emergency the Pharmacist assistant ANNA gave me attitude and refused to give me my medication with a photo ID after I explained multiple times I have a police report proving it she asked two people and they all declined to give me my medication without my Id. They wouldn't even let my girlfriend pick up my medication. Because of this I now have to go another day without my antibiotics and my pain meds. I have been there a few times recently and am disappointed not finding what I am looking for. The most shelves in the aisle in front of the pharmacy have been messy and empty. I went in there to look for a cough medicine for my grandmother and eye and they have not been there. The shelves are almost empty. Not only one time but several weeks. Went in for eye drops prescription for my allergies & the pharmacy tech ZOEY who works there was extremely rude. I am hard of hearing & she was talking low I couldn't hear her. When she kept having to repeat herself & I apologized and told her I am hard of hearing she rolled her eyes at me. The eye drops prescription I needed was out of stock it was back ordered due to manufacture issue. I went to CVS at target(same plaza) and the pharmacy tech was much much more nice to me. She is the one who explained to me that the eye drops were back ordered, and that she can still fill in the prescription for me but she wouldn't be able to give me a date or time when it would be ready. Which is fine, she provided outstanding service. Zoey from CVS on Whittier Blvd l(not in Target) did not even give me the option to fill prescription she just gave me back my prescription and told me they were out of stock. Zoey should not be working in a pharmacy with sick patients. No empathy what so ever. read more

Just switched to this pharmacy since the other major pharmacy near me is always out of my daughter's common asthma meds. Beware that this location closes for lunch! I get daily texts reminding me to pickup my prescription, and when I finally get here they tell me they're closed for lunch for an hour. My visit to this location was the cherry on top of my bad day. I walked up to the front desk and said hello, the two pharmacists at drop-off completely ignored my presence until they stopped typing and sorting papers and finally asked me what I was there for. When I asked questions they either ignored me or whispered, the man gave a snarky remark when I didn't understand what he asked of me and the woman interrupted me more than once when I tried explaining what I needed. Similar to others review, this CVS is the very worst. I called to order an Rx already in place from my primary. They told me it would be ready in an hour. I go to the drive through pharmacy not ready. We called later and get told they ran out of the Rx; to come back after 12:00pm the next day. I come back today - next day - at 3:00pm and not ready and could not find the Rx found the previous day. I spoke directly with the Pharmacist and he told me to come back in 20 minute. This pharmacy is the very worst and totally mismanaged and should be given to another pharmacy such Rite Aid or Walgreen. read more

I never did like this place. But since I switched insurance I have to use them. My family's prescriptions are never ready at the time they say. Their customer service is pretty bad. I can't tell you how many times I've asked for help just to end up walking out because no one comes to help after 10 to 15 minutes. And even if you complain, nothing changes. BRAVO to employee anthony rodriguez!!! If no one else says it I WILL. This young man exhibited courage that is hard to find especially here in the state of CA. I was present yesterday 2/14 at 1pm. This cvs employee Anthony went above and beyond to apprehend a shoplifting suspect. He used force to stop them from leaving and actually snatched some of the items they were attempting to walk out with from their hands. You should have seen him, he put his whole body on the suspect and didn't allow them to move until they had forfeited the merchandise. He was not letting go of the criminal at all it was awesome. Thankfully even followed them out to capture license plate. I would have helped him hold the thief down but I am a retied veteran, It would have been nice if his coworker showed the same enthusiasm for putting a stop to the criminal at all costs but she just continued helping customers. I as one who despises thieves was pleasantly surprised to see that this store has a no tolerance policy and is not afraid to get physical with the culprit and apprehend if needed even if it was for a few items. Too many others stores in CA are turning a blind eye to this behavior but not this one. Give the man a raise asap!!I will be emailing corporate and will not rest until I can speak to someone about this gentleman deserving a pay increase. Unfortunately cops never showed.
