130 pm, Friday, July 3, 2026 I can see why this Walgreens has two stars. I stopped by here because it was the closest one near Whittier Ocean Honda. I thought I was slick thinking I'd save time rather than going to the ones in La Habra or La Mirada. I was taking a risk as I didn't know if any locations had the Accu-chek Guide Starter Kit. I walked to the rear of the store to the pharmacy. I thought great no line, but the waiting customers were hidden behind the aisle shelving! I'm already here, just get in the back of the line and wait my turn. FYI, it's the holiday weekend. If your prescription isn't already in the system, save time and come back on a regular business day. My prescription wasn't able to be transferred from the mail order pharmacy. Thank you to Jennifur, the pharmacy manager. You get 5 stars for customer service. You went the extra mile as I wasn't local to your pharmacy. I appreciated this a lot even though I didn't come away with a new glucose meter. read more

Everytime I come to this Walgreens for the pharmacy they are horrible at acknowledging costumers at the drive thru and it takes about 30-40 minutes each time. Horrible service and rude employees. I went to the photo department 8/18/26 and the wifi was not working and couldn't upload my picture on the kiosk then I try the cable that connect kiosk to the phone and that isnt working either. I wasted a whole hour for nothing I really needed those pictures. I will not be returning for photo pri ti g here again. I went here because it was closer. I should have stick to cvs its always quick there and they are helpful there too. read more

We started using this Walgreens for our daughter's allergy prescriptions after the Rite Aid on Comstock and Painter closed--and we regret that decision. While I believe the pharmacy staff are kind and genuinely trying their best, this location simply doesn't have the manpower or infrastructure to handle the influx of new customers. The wait times are extremely long, and our daughter's prescriptions are rarely in stock. Most concerning, she was prescribed a cycle of antibiotics and the pharmacy didn't have enough to fill it. They split the prescription in half, but then couldn't provide the second half on time. Anyone who understands antibiotics knows you must complete the full cycle without interruption for the treatment to be effective. Now, we have to go back to the doctor for a new prescription and start the process all over again. If you can find another pharmacy for your prescriptions, I highly recommend it. read more

If I could put a negative star I would. By far the absolute worst customer service I have ever had. Called to start a new prescription and spoke with Lisa (who claims she is the manager). After of course the typical 30 min wait before pick up the phone we get a response that they don't contact pharmacy's for transferring refills (which we know is not true as we had 2 other pharmacies that were already doing this) she finally agreed to take our information after asking us if "she needs to repeat herself again" when we told her that we had already talked to others about it. Come to find out it was just to get us off the phone and she never did anything. When we called back it became a shouting match where she told us that we should go back to our other pharmacy. read more

The pharmacy at this location could use some organization- my son's prescriptions were transferred here after Rite Aid was closed. I received notification that everything would be sent here. I've called three times today, left on hold for 10+ minutes just to be told they can't find his information and I should just call his doctor. sigh, I miss Rite Aid. read more

There is something evil going here with this store pharmacy mgr. I listed a devastating review last 7/11/25. Like 2 AM. It has been deleted. I screenshoted it posted on yelp. I HAVE IT. This mgr or pharmacy worker withheld life saving after heart surgery med for 72. They were sent a Dr prescription at 7 pm 7/8/25. My wife called our Dr they didn't understand. She called this location and spent 30 mins getting thru. They filled it 30 mins later. I need know why they at CVS decided it was a good to hold this. Horrible experience. I arrived at 2:00 PM, which is when they're supposed to return from lunch, but ended up waiting an additional 20 minutes for them to actually open. That wasn't even the worst part. I was first in line and dropped off my child's prescription for liquid amoxicillin at 2:20 PM. I was told it would take about 20 minutes. It's now almost 4:00 PM and it still hasn't been filled. After more than an hour and a half, they just told me they're "working on it."So here I am, going on two hours just to get a simple liquid amoxicillin prescription for my child. Very disappointing service. I won't be coming back here again. Once I finally get called up to the window they forgot to add the water to the amoxicillin so now I'm waiting for that read more

When Rite Aid closed, my was transferred to Walgreens. I went there & there were probably 10 people in line, I asked someone in line if this was typical, and they said yes. I waited in line for 10 minutes or so, and it never moved. So, thoughI may be more impatient than the Typical client, I left, my prescription to Ralph's I was told that they accept expired prescriptions so I went there today, I think the same people are standing in line. I did go up to a window and the three or four people behind the window all were working, and most of them made eye contact with me without even stopping to ask what I needed. This review is in no way a reflection of the actual pharmacy team. They are doing their best under less than ideal circumstances. Save yourself a headache and find a different pharmacy. I was a rite aid customer and was funneled to this pharmacy when multiple Rite Aids closed in the area all around the same time. I have come twice and it has been an actual nightmare. The line is HUGE-- think 9+ people--Over an hour wait the first time and just under 2 hrs the second time. They are not staffed for the influx nor is the pharmacy itself large enough to accommodate absorbing multiple competing pharmacies. read more

I am super disappointed. I have been having the worst time just trying to get medicine I need for my diabetes. I have been told wrong information multiple times from this pharmacy and now I was on hold for 40 minutes and when it was my turn I was hung up on. Now I would be put back in line to wait over an hour just to speak to someone. And be cause I am a full time student and worker I have very little time to go to the pharmacy unless it is to pick up the medicine. I'm just really frustrated and upset and I get that they have taken on Rite Aid customers since they are all closed. However, I feel that there isn't much care into how the pharmacy customers are being treated with the influx of new customers. And I'm sad because I used to really like this pharmacy compared to all the other Walgreens in my area, unfortunately I will have to figure out if I will continue doing business here :/ read more

This pharmacy is terrible. So inefficient that it seems designed that way, with a manager who doesn't care and doesn't take any responsibility. You can get 5+ texts saying they're working on something, but the techs have no idea where it is or what's happening. No help with their drive thru, just a load of bs excuses. read more

This is the closest pharmacy to my house so due to it being local it is my home pharmacy. Over the months of coming here the main things that I can point out is that they are always backed up with customers. ALWAYS. There's been times I've called and they've placed me on hold for 30+ minutes and even waiting in the drive through is never less than 20 mins waiting for your prescription. They really need more structure , time management , throughout this pharmacy because this is truly ridiculous and repetitive. This is EVERY-TIME I pick up my prescription & it never fails. Very disappointed with the pharmacy! You are advertising for the former Rite-Aid customers to go there, however I filled my prescriptions middle of the month, the drive thru was 6 cars deep& the inside I could see also a line. When I finally got to the front, was told they were short handed. Not fair for the long tern customers. So hire the unemployed Rite-Aid employees! I went on Wednesday to pick up a prescription & was told it was not ready, to go wait inside. It was supposed to be ready after 11, it was 3. Tony is an awesome pharmacist! Even though he was so busy, he took the time to tell me about a family member of his that needed a vaccination. He's very personable, and treats me with a lot of respect as I do him. Give this man a raise, or give him a year's worth of free lunches! You don't find any people like him, and I'm truly grateful. Pretty horrible customer service from the cashier that I just received. Just walked in to withdraw cash from my cash app card. Cash app allows withdrawals similar to an atm just with monetary limits. Well I walk in and let the cashier know that I would like to withdraw money. She then proceeds to very rudely and repeatedly tell me that I need to buy something to get cash. Hey, I get it. Some people are new, some people don't know. Why continuously try to talk down to me about something you clearly know nothing about? Very weird, never coming back. This happened June 29th, 2025 at 8:35 PM. I hope the manager sees this and properly trains their employees about the capabilities customers have at a mere Walgreens. read more

My boyfriend & I came to Walgreen's for OTC medicine on 12/21 around 6:30pm, as I have been experiencing a dry cough & congestion. We were met with the pharmacist, & my boyfriend explained to him my symptoms & asked if Sudafed would be sufficient to help with the congestion. The pharmacist looks at my boyfriend & I up & down & asks why we're smiling. I don't know what kind of people come into this Walgreens, but my boyfriend & I very much look like friendly people & we smile at everyone. Is this not normal? I guess not. The pharmacist asked us about three times why we're smiling & we're just staring at each other awkwardly for a solid five minutes. It was very uncomfortable & I seriously thought about just leaving. He then asked again what my symptoms were & I said them again This happened twice. I am not sure if he thought my answer would change? After 7-8 minutes, he finally was helpful & explained that Mucinex would be able to help with the congestion. We purchased it & left. This is the weirdest experience I have ever had at any store. My boyfriend had just gotten off of work & was dressed business casual. I was wearing a hoodie & leggings, as it's December & it was raining, & I work from home. We're Hispanic & the pharmacist was Asian. This was definitely a race thing & it left us feeling so uncomfortable afterwards. read more

Bad. Just bad. Do not attempt an online order, do yourself a favor and drive down in person, in store shop and stand in line. Old school style, like in the days of Gilligan's Island, you remember. The store is not set up for online orders whatsoever. I choose drive-thru and I get to the window and my order can't be found, mind you I received a notification it was ready to pick up. I get in line, click on the I'm here button, chose drive thru, pharmacy assistant was lost when I got to the window. I was made to go to curbside pick up, waited longer, mind you I'm going on an hour wait now, no one comes out. I go into the store to find three employees discussing my order within earshot, none of them had an answer, had to identify myself then got rung up for an order I had paid for already. Got a look from the cashier, blamed for being there too early by the person handing me my order, again, I received notification the order was ready, and the third employee did the international sign for I don't know. Give it up. You're not set up. You're just pissing people off. Likely there are training issues and most certainly the store is understaffed, take a cue management. Got my COVID vaccine here and staff was super nice and reassuring. I was nervous because I have a history of fainting but the pharmacist gave me water and let me take some calming breaths before giving me the shot. This is a review for the Passport Photo service. Do not go to Walgreens for passport photos, the quality is awful and the photos are overpriced. The photos we received were dark since no flash or backlight was used and looked blurry. Definitely not acceptable. I went to AAA after I found out they offered passport photo services. Definitely night and day! AAA has a professional instant photo setup with lighting and the cost was much less for members. They offer passport photo services for nonmembers too. read more

I know you can't please all of the people all of the time, but this was EAST & Walgreens messed up. I am 82, and can hardly walk, but went to the Pharmacy to get some medicine for my wife. A couple was being served, so I sat down in a chair in the Pharmacy area. About 5 or six minutes later, a young lady arrived and stood at the beginning of where you were in line. About ten minutes after I arrived, the other couple finished, & I got up and went to place my order. The Pharmacist informed me that there was LINE & I needed to wait my turn. I informed her that I was there long before the young lady, & could hardly stand, so had been sitting in the chair. She refused to serve me until I stood in line BEHIND the young lady that had just arrived. NOT REALLY HAPPY. THIS STORE IS FOR YOUNG PEOPLE ONLY. read more

Was returning 2 items and was made to feel as though I was committing a crime. I had placed a purchase at this store for TWO cleansing drinks, but they could only fulfill 1, so I was forced to place another order at the La Habra store because I could not figure out how to just completly cancel this order and buy both from a different store. I didn't end up needing the product, so I brought both completely sealed drinks with my online receipts. When I got into the store, I walked STRAIGHT to the line at the register, then remembered I wanted to pick up a few things. I interrupted Rose (cashier) and just told her I would be returning these items but wanted to do some shopping so I would leave them with her. When I came up with my items, she told me she was glad I told her it was a return because she would have rung me up for them since I "didn't come straight to the register." I explained that I walked in and got straight in line but that she must have missed me. Then she asked to scan my receipt code, so I showed her the QR code. After 5 min of her telling me it needed to be a bar code, she finally called her manager, who came up and also told her it was, in fact, the QR code that needed to be scanned. No more problems with that return until we went to return the one from the other store. Rose looked at my phone and said, "Oh, well I see you purchased these out in Los Angeles." I then explained that was just the location that autopopulates on the store website but that the receipt clearly says it was purchased at the La Habra store 10 min away. Her question rubbed me the wrong way because I know from 10 years if retail experience that customers who commit theft will often purchase from stores far away, then attempt a return at a local store or visa versa. Then Rose proceeds to say (in front of the manager who was super nice) "Well are they the same product?" and checks both skews of 2 identical looking items. It was pretty clear she thought I was trying to pull a fast one on them despite having both receipts and bringing the items straight to her. Really unfortunate, I left feeling this uncomfortable because I live 5 min from this store, but will go out of my way to take my business elsewhere to avoid those condescending comments. read more
