The manager is verging on hateful and the rest of the staff acts like it's a burden when I request assistance. I searched the store looking for the feminine hygiene aisle for twenty minutes. Not one employee on the floor. I finally asked the pharmacist for help and she took me to the geriatric supplies, pointed and said "this is all we have." Diapers? really? How slow does a pharmacist have to be to think menstrual panty liners and diapers are the same thing. Also, there is a female employee who works in the early morning. This may sound extreme but she is overtly prejudiced. I'm 99% certain the five star reviews this store has received are fake. One star all the way around. read more

Picked up a prescription at 3 pm today and, when I got home, I opened the bag (with 200 staples in it) and the bottle cap came off! Was not screwed on properly. The pills spilled on floor. First time in 20+ years. Now their phone is not answering. And, there are generally too many people in line at drive-up. DON'T GET YOUR PASSPORT PHOTO TAKEN HERE!! Lazy worker. Took 1 photo with an old powershot canon camera, walked away then printed it without saying one word to me. Came out to $19 and It was one of the worst photo ever. I ended up going to Amie's photography off Imperial hwy next to Boston donuts. I frequent this store for my photo, pharmacy and snack needs. I enjoy the fact it's very clean, organized and the reason for my post is the following: Customer service goes a long way. I usually give my business to kind people. Today, I was in a rush and walked to the register. "Ash" greeted a gentleman customer in front of me. He was older and moved slower. I saw how she was patient with him, smiled and told him to enter his phone number. She looked at me and smiled. I have elders in my family and I can appreciate employees who are kind. Absolutely terrible experience. I needed a thumb brace and searched online, found one on Walgreens.com. Went to the store to purchase and price is significantly different, almost $15. So I asked if they price match prices online, again same store Walgreens.com. She said no I would have to purchase online and do store pickup. Okay, fine. However the site was showing they didn't have any and I couldn't add to my cart. Clearly they had 3 boxes. The cashier was not helpful and after 5 minutes of trying I gave up. I let her ring up my other items and placed an order for a thumb brace on Amazon. Terrible experience here as well. I service this store weekly. I use this store mainly for photo department.I put an order while I was at work and I received a confirmation with time my order will be ready. I get to the store ready to pick up my order and they say It was never received, so I resubmit it and when I asked them if they receive my resubmitted order They say There machine is slow and it could take 20 minutes or up to 3 days. No sense at all. When I arrived an associate was attending to a man and she printed pictures for him. Once she helped him she went on her break, and the person who was "helping me" Came out with that nonesense. As soon as she told me that she leaves and no one is in sight. Yay! I'm a fan. Walgreens, is the convenience store, that I preferred to go to because, this location is always well stocked with the items I like, used and need. I like their sales buy an sale item and get the second 50% off you can beat that. It's located near my house in the corner of Whittier and Beach with easy access in and out to a corner parking lot. It opens at 8:00AM and the best of all it's that you don't have to wait in line to pay for your items. Great store, always clean and the employees are always so helpful. The store is well-stocked I'm always able to find what I need and plus more. I go for hair color, make up and other personal items, they have an assortment of greeting cards for the last minute birthday card and gift certificates. They have a separate makeup check out. Huge benefit you don't have to wait in line to pay for items. Just to mention the other aisle of other household items you may need. The candy assortment have their own aisle or right by the check out counter.. Usually I would give them the benefit of the doubt picking up an order 2 days before Christmas but I've had the same HORRIBLE customer service from this lady at the photo counter. She may be a manager, but I hope not! She didn't believe I had an online order because it wasn't under my phone number. Once I explained more than once it was a shipped online order she immediately found it and acted like I caused her SO MUCH grief. I stopped by this store to pick up my FedEx package that was delivered on the previous day, on 6/24/21. The employee who came to help was a female in her 20-30's. She was extremely condescending and had a terrible attitude - the package was not available on-site for some odd reason, and when I asked whether it could be the boxes that were stacked towards the photo station, she said, "You want photo supplies?" I've never seen anyone interact with customers in this type of manner. When I contacted FedEx, the manager informed me that the package was not available at Walgreens because someone from this location gave the package back to a driver who was there for pick-up later in the day. Because of this, I made over 6 calls to FedEx over the weekend and today to find out where my package was. I'm not sure who was this employee that gave the package back to the driver, but this has been a serious waste of my time and an extremely incompetent behavior on Walgreens' employee's behalf that should be noticed by the corporate office. Management, please retrain your staff on basics of customer service and performing their duties correctly so no one else has to experience something like this. read more

INCOMPETENT PHARMACY STAFF! FEB 1st - Went there with new RX (pain pills), paying cash. I just retired and have no RX insurance. I usually go to CVS but decided to go to Walgreens because of their drive-thru pharmacy (I have difficulty standing). THE PHARMACIST said she couldn't fill it before FEB 7. I took the script with me in case I decided to get it filled somewhere else - but I didn't. FEB 13th - I awoke with a terrible pain in my shoulder this morning, so there I go to fill my RX. NOW THE PHARMACIST said they can't fill a new RX for that many pain pills (60) until I consult with their doctor, or they consult with my doctor?? Aside from the glass partition, the mask, their crappy microphone, and her poor English, all I really understood was "come back Monday". Thank God when I took it to CVS, they filled it. There was a time when I loved shopping at Walgreens. What happened? Their staff is so useless. Even their managers just shrug at problems. "Nothing I can do. Why don't you call customer service?" Basically: OH WELL. WTF? Why bother having a manager who can't help customers? What cracks me up is when they ask if you found everything you needed. "No," I often say. And they never say, "Well, let me get that for you." WHY BOTHER ASKING? Often I am overcharged. Often my Wags app does not work. I GIVE UP. Now I only shop at CVS. Melissa who works at the pharmacy along with Joy the pharmacist are very rude. Let's start with Melissa who apparently has worked with the company for 22 years. I don't think she likes her job very much or she's just upset she has to work on a Saturday. However, she handle a phone call very wrong. If a customer is upset and they are saying they normally get their medication delivered instead of out right saying no it doesn't blah blah go into your system and see if possibly the customer has the medication confused with another or just see if there is something you as the employee could be missing. God forbid you make a mistake bc you have 22 years working with the company. One thing I can't stand is someone who gets annoyed simply because they are asked or forced to do the job they went to school for and chose on their own. Second Joy who was able to find out what the confusion with the situation was is also a very rude person. You don't just put someone on hold when they are in the middle of a sentence because they are annoying you. Welcome to customer service. If you and your staff did your job thoroughly and without being rude maybe you would upset less customers who are actually just trying to get their medication. As someone who works in counseling this is how I would have handled the situation. I have an upset client who is claiming this particular medication normally gets delivered... okay I see in my system that this specific medication they are referring to isn't normally mailed (key word mailed) so let me check there medication history to see if there could be something I missing or if the client might be confusing this medication with another. Thats all it takes but no Melissa wanted to say "that's not true, I've worked with the company for 22 years" well guess what Melissa you were incorrect because if you would have done your job and checked her history you would see that the medication that may not be deliverable through mail is able to be delivered through DoorDash. So thank you and we will happily be waiting for our medication to be delivered later today. Do better or find another career that won't make you so un happy with your life. My previous experiences with the pharmacy had been Ok, nothing special. Yesterday I used the drive thru to pick up two prescriptions. The clerk gave me an attitude because she could not hear/understand me. I am on oxygen and can't speak loud. Then the pharmacist shows up to the window and in a rush and short tone of voice tells me the prescription instructions and walks away from the window. Never asked if I had any questions. Her tone of voice appeared she was overwhelmed, tired, and rushed with work. Poor customer care. The clerk didn't return to the window. I took my medicine from the box and drove away. Very poor service received and sorry the two Walgreens employees were having a bad day or dislike their jobs. read more

A Walgreens is a Walgreens.... and typically they are the best option when it comes to finding things I need; OTC meds, cards, holiday items, low-cost make up, snacks, etc. you get my drift. So, a review on a big chain, that basically is universally the same, may be defeating the purpose, but.... ... this Walgreens needs some props and kudos. It's actually a really nice one and is always stocked and employees are usually around to help. I've used the Photo Department quite a few times and although rarely is someone back there working (so you have to track an employee down... which isn't hard at this location) they are helpful and my photos come out wonderful! Scattered throughout the store, you can almost always find someone to help you find what you need. The store is also laid out in an easy to find manner that makes sense. They are quick to open up a new check-out line up front and most all employees that I've come in contact with are friendly and clean. However, lines can be really really long with no additional help. It feels like a hometown store even though it is a big time chain. Not too huge but big enough to carry things you may be looking for. I love that they carry a great supply of La Habra and Orange County trinkets, tees and stuff too. Thanks La Habra Walgreens!! CHEERS!! read more

Walgreens even though you are a small store you have many of the essentials that I would need to survive life in a crazy hectic environment. I love how they added this frozen section where you can buy things such as milk and etc. Also the photo center is what I mostly come here for and they do amazing prints. I love how those 8x10 pictures come out. If you ever try it out get the glossy prints. A great idea for giving them as gifts to family and friends. The parking lot is pretty empty and the isles in Walgreens are pretty self explanatory. :P Lets just say you will never get lost in this location! read more

I have been to this Walgreens before and it's been OK. But lately I had an issue with WesternUnion which they have a kiosk in the section of the photography center. One person told me it was an issue between me and Western Union and I had to take it up with him. Western Union sent me back to the origin of transaction. The second person at Walgreens said that it was out of their hands so I had to go somewhere else. It took three people to tell me a different story each time. One of them told me in passing without stopping to see my receipt. Finally discount face asked me if he could help me, and after explaining the situation he impressed me that he would not give up trying until voila! He managed to fix the challenge. He managed to figure it out at least 10 different tries, while he was attending to the customers behind me in between. This is the first time in years that I have seen a customer service representative think outside the box and go above and beyond to make sure it was done right. Attention all Covid-19 Vaccine seekers! Do not use Walgreens to book your vaccine. First of all they tell you it's Pfizer, the system books two appointments but when you show up they tell you is the Johnson and Johnson shot and they play dumb and they tell you, this is what the government send us. It may be what the government sent them but that is not what I scheduled. If I scheduled the Pfizer vaccine why would I get anything else with lower efficacy rates? Please use CVS instead, at least they are honest. Walgreens just wants the government funds in my opinion and they are providing false advertising, which is beyond misleading. I drove several miles to this location. I'm handicapped and I can't believe they're doing this. I may probably never buy anything from Walgreens. It's all CVS from now on. read more

Worst Walgreens location I have been to. The associates are rude and unprofessional. I came to pick up a Fedex package that I had delivered to this location (first time I have ever done this) and the associate assisting me had the worst attitude and on top of that was condescending. If you're miserable with your job get a new one - don't take it out on your customers. On my way out I bought a snack and the associate ringing me up was so unprofessional shouting at her coworker who happened to be coming back in from break, making a snarky remark. I'm only giving this business two stars due to them being conveniently close to my house. But every time I come here I always end up waiting HOURS for medication that should be filled in 20-60 minutes. Their phone service is no help. I'll call to check a prescription status and after dealing with a robot for 5 minutes, they proceed to tell me to call back in an hour due them still working on it- this happened for 5 straight hours. So I called right back and asked to speak to a pharmacist. After being connected you can hear the annoyance in the mans voice who then rudely tells me "uh yeah it's been here ready waiting for you." - as if I should have known that. Like this medication was important. It's an antibiotic that needed to be started ASAP for a surgery and to hear that it's been ready waiting for me was upsetting. As soon as I got off the phone, I received a notification that my prescription was ready for pick up. Gee, thanks. Today, I finally had the surgery that I needed to take those antibiotics for. My oral surgeon prescribed me some post op meds and called in my scripts at noon, they weren't ready to be picked up until almost 6 pm! WHY?! There's always a line that takes FOREVER despite how many techs are seen in the back. I understand being short staffed (I work in a hospital that's understaffed) but my god you guys need to do better and be nicer to your customers because y'all just lost one. If you're coming to fill scripts here, I suggest going elsewhere. read more
